US Defense Secretary Targets Syria with Chemical Weapons Allegations

Speaking on a visit to Israel on Friday, US Defense Secretary James “Mad Dog” Mattis charged that the Syrian government has violated an agreement brokered by Moscow in 2013 by holding onto chemical weapons.

“The bottom line is there can be no doubt in the international community’s mind that Syria has retained chemical weapons in violation of its agreement and its statement that it had removed them all,” Mattis said during a press conference standing alongside his Israeli counterpart, the extreme right-wing Zionist Avigdor Lieberman.

Mattis refused to provide any estimate of what quantity of chemical weapons he believes are in Syrian hands, claiming that it would compromise intelligence sources. He charged, however, that Damascus was in violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions and warned that it would be “ill-advised to use any again. We’ve made that very clear with our first strike.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

All the various wars are back, and with a vengeance; and the American Deep State believes that they need to go very quickly into Syria; North Korea; Iran; Somalia; and parts of Iraq, and regime change them all, before Americans start thinking, rejecting the codswallop they are being force-fed by both the US government, and its corporate presstitutes to further its agenda, and start protesting in the numbers which stopped the Vietnam War.

Because that is what it will take to end this war agenda, if it is humanly possible to do so at this point.

IF Americans cannot and do not act against these wars, in the most peaceful, and logical way possible, humanity is facing a global catastrophe of Biblical proportions.

Netanyahu Meets Mattis, Lauds 'Change in U.S. Leadership, Policy' in Mideast

Meeting took place after U.S. defense chief Mattis sat down with Israeli counterpart in Tel Aviv, said Iran continues to threaten Israel with ballistic missiles.

U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Jerusalem on Friday.

Prior to the meeting Netanyahu said that he sees a "great change" in the direction of U.S. policy in the Middle East, lauding Mattis and President Donald Trump's recent statements on Iran as well as U.S. action against Syria's use of chemical weapons. "It's appreciated around the world and in our region," Netanyahu said, according to a press release.

"I think this is a welcome change, a strategic change in U.S. leadership and policy," the prime minister said, according to the press release.
Netanyahu also said that Israel and the U.S. both face the "double threat" of "radical Islam," referring to Iran and ISIS.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I've just done a double-palmed faceplant, at warp speed, upon reading this.

IF Tehran has ballistic missiles pointed at Israel, don't tell me for one second that Israel doesn't have ballistic missiles pointed at Iran!!

And to conflate the Wahhabi-flavored radicalised Islam of ISIS with the moderate Shia Islam of Iran?!?

Does Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu begin to comprehend how completely idiotic this comparison sounds, for anyone with two brain cells to rub together?!?

And as I mentioned in a previous post yesterday, from the Israeli government's perspective, it is the US government which must, with its blood and money, achieve Israel's regional geopolitical objectives, and that includes "neutralising" Iran for it.

But between Iran's robust self-defense posture and capabilities, and the reality that if attacked militarily, Russia will come to its aid, this Israeli demand to the US may be too great a chasm to cross, at least for the moment.

Why Washington is Terrified of Russia, China

Diplomats, off the record, occasionally let it slip there may have been a coded message delivered to NATO to the effect that if one of the strategic members is seriously harassed — be it in Ukraine or in the South China Sea – NATO will have to deal with both.

“Making America Great Again” by Reducing the World to Ashes?

FLASHBACK - How Israel Swindled Its Way to an Atomic Bomb

There’s a great deal of talk about “weapons of mass destruction” proliferating across the Middle East. The mainstream media has sounded the alarm about Iran’s nuclear weapons program since the 1980s (and yet no Iranian bomb has appeared). The supposed purpose of the Iraq War was to eliminate the nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons programs that Iraq was falsely alleged to have had. To keep their rivals from developing a bomb, Israel attacked nuclear facilities in Iraq in 1981 and in Syria in 2007. To paraphrase Jean-Paul Sartre, Israel is sick with fear, they are afraid of the shadow of their own stolen bomb. How they stole the atomic bomb is detailed in Roger J. Mattson’s 2016 book, Stealing the Atom Bomb: How Denial and Deception Armed Israel.

Satellite Images Suggest North Korea May Have Resumed Nuclear Test Preparations

Satellite images of the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site from April 19 indicate that North Korea may have resumed preparations for a possible imminent nuclear test.

According to 38 North, a North Korea analysis program at the Johns Hopkins University, probable trailers have been spotted near the North Portal, the tunnel that North Korea appears to have been preparing for a nuclear test. While no recent dumping is observed, there are at least five mining carts along the tracks leading to the spoil pile and one probable small equipment trailer adjacent to the support building. A net canopy remains in place, presumably concealing equipment, and the pumping of water out of the tunnel to maintain an environment optimal for instrumentation and stemming seems to have ceased.

Trump admin. wants to resume munitions sale to Saudis: Officials

The Donald Trump administration considers resuming sales of precision-guided munitions to Saudi Arabia as part of additional military and intelligence assistance to the kingdom’s bloody intervention in Yemen.

Officials said Washington, in return, wants new commitments from Riyadh to minimize civilian casualties in Yemen.

"We want the Saudis to show that they are committed to use these things properly," a US official told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

A second official, however, suggested that the request for additional safeguards was just a formality. "This is an unconditional sale. There are no conditions attached. The decision has been made to let the sale go through."

Webmaster's Commentary:

The hypocrisy in DC just sickens me, and the degree to which the Trump administration is just happily on board to being complicit to Saudi war crimes in Yemen, does not bode well for peace in the Middle East at all.

These Saudi strikes have murdered women and children.

Images: dead and wounded Yemeni children from Saudi airstrikes

The Saudis have blockaded Yemeni ports, which means no food aid can get in, and children are literally dying from malnutrition:

And the Saudis are using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen, leading to a massive spike in cancers, birth defects, and still births.

Severe birth defects in Yemen, due to Saudi troops using depleted uranium weapons

I will tell you right now, poisoning a child in the womb with depleted uranium weapons, is one of the most hideously cruel and insanely barbaric examples of outright, despicable child abuse I can imagine; and yet, obviously, the House of Saud; the Saudi Military, and the US military are perfectly comfortable doing this in Yemen.

What's Behind US, EU's Reluctance to Investigate Idlib Chemical Incident

It is hardly surprising that the US and EU policymakers turn a deaf ear to Russia and Damascus's plea to conduct a scrupulous investigation into the suspected use of the chemical weapons in Khan Shaykhun, Russian political analyst Stanislav Tarasov told Radio Sputnik, explaining why the West is uninterested in carrying out such an inquiry.

While American and European politicians remain surprisingly reluctant to the idea to investigate the suspected chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun, political analyst, and head of the Middle East-Caucasus think-tank Stanislav Tarasov suggests that "the West" is by no means interested in conducting such an inquiry.
Speaking to Sputnik on Thursday Syrian President Bashar al-Assad emphasized that Western countries are deliberately blocking attempts to investigate the Idlib chemical incident.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, Al Assad is absolutely bang spot-on with his analysis.

China Is Building The World's Largest Nuclear Submarine Facility

Perhaps it is time to shift attention away from the "rally around the flag" diversion that is North Korea and pay some attention to China, which delighted by the ongoing geopolitical distractions is currently building the world's largest submarine facility, which will be able to produce as many as four ultramodern nuclear submarines at a time.

Starting later this year, China's new submarine factory on the Yellow Sea will churn out nuclear-powered attack submarines (or SSNs) ensuring that the sub program of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) will soon be a deadly global force. Once fully operational, the assembly line will enable China to at least match USN SSN production.

When this enclosed submarine factory begins operation later this year, the BSHIC will be able to quickly build nuclear submarines.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China's leadership fully understands what the US government is prepared to do to destroy the rise of the yuan in international trading; it is simply preparing for this eventuality.

F-18 Fighter Jet From Carl Vinson Carrier Crashes Off The Philippines

With the USS Carl Vinson finally on its way to North Korea after some initial "miscommunications" between the White House and the Pentagon, on Friday the aircraft carrier suffered another embarrassing moment when a F-18 pilot was forced to eject during an attempted landing on the deck of the Vinson in the Celebes Sea, south of the Philippines, the US Navy said in a statement. The pilot was recovered safely.

OPERATION GOTHAM SHIELD: U.S. GOV’T TO “SIMULATE NUKE BLAST OVER MANHATTAN” AS ACTUAL WAR NEARS

A general alert is out for something major in the near or immediate future. Hopefully, it is just another false alarm, instead of another false flag. Either way, and danger is at hand.

Given all that is going on in the world, it is downright eerie to discover that the federal government is once again staging mock disasters that draw disturbing parallels with current world events.
In just a few days, during April 24-26th, Operation Gotham Shield will commence.

It is a tabletop, joint agency exercise involving FEMA, Homeland Security and a myriad of law enforcement and military agencies. WMD, chemical and biological units will all be on hand as a response is tested for a “simulated” nuclear detonation over the United States’ foremost urban center, in the iconic and densely populated island of Manhattan and nearby shores of New Jersey.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This exercise will run from next Monday through Wednesday.

I don't know about you, but the hair on the back of my neck is very nervously break-dancing in a completely uncoordinated manner, upon hearing of this exercise.

If it turns out to be a real "false flag" event, who is the US government going to blame?!?

Russia?!? North Korea?!? Iran?!?

All of the above, with the accusation that they collectively, are in possession of a death star?!?

Color me very nervous for the start of this next week.

Trump: Iran Violating ‘Spirit’ of Nuclear Deal

With the rest of the administration continuing to play up US hostility toward Iran in the wake of the admission that Iran is fully complying with the P5+1 nuclear deal, President Trump today accused Iran of “violating the spirit of the deal.”

President Trump offered no details on exactly what he was referring to, though the allegation is patently false at any rate, with Iran having no nuclear weapons program in the first place, and agreeing to drastically limit its civilian program in return for sanctions relief.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, what does this accusation this even mean, in light of the fact that the IAEA has consistently reported that Iran is in complete compliance with the terms and conditions of the P5 +1 Agreement?!?

South Korea on heightened alert as North readies for army anniversary

South Korea said on Friday it was on heightened alert ahead of another important anniversary in North Korea, with a large concentration of military hardware amassed on both sides of the border amid concerns about a new nuclear test by Pyongyang.

North Korea said late on Friday the state of affairs on the Korean peninsula was "extremely perilous" because of "madcap American nuclear war manoeuvres aimed at trampling on our sovereignty and right to survival."

U.S. officials said there was a higher-than-usual level of activity by Chinese bombers, signalling a possible heightened state of readiness by reclusive North Korea's sole major ally, although the officials played down concern and left open a range of possible reasons. Beijing denied its aircraft were on an increased level of alert.

In Russia, the RIA news agency said a Kremlin spokesman declined to comment on media reports Russia was moving military hardware and troops towards the border with North Korea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The sense I have is that US military action against North Korea is eminent.

We are just two and a half weeks away from the 9 May elections in South Korea, and the US military sees its window of opportunity for a military strike against North Korea as narrowing greatly, if the candidate who wins the South Korean election is a proponent of the "sunshine policy", which advocates engagement and trade with North Korea.

After that, the only US military option is a massive false flag, and I am quite certain that those scenarios have already been planned for, and signed off on, by President Trump.

Trump’s missile attack on Syria was justified with fake intelligence: experts

On April 7, President Trump committed his first “act of war,” attacking Syria with missiles in response to what he said was a poison gas attack by the Syrian government that killed dozens. But the White House’s subsequent intelligence report offering its proof of Syria’s role was “false” and “fraudulent,” suggesting a “coverup” by a president acting without any intelligence and intentionally lying to the public.

These are the characterizations of two longtime experts in war studies and missile systems, which—along with coordinated comments by Vice President Mike Pence in South Korea and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Russia that America’s “strategic patience” is ending—suggest Trump may be seeking a war of choice, even if it involves fabricated intelligence.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why am I not surprised here?!?

State Dept Tries to Torpedo Nuclear Deal, Admits Iran Complying

While the US State Department was obliged to admit that Iran remains in full compliance with the P5+1 nuclear deal in a report to Congress, they are clearly not happy about that fact, and with President Trump openly looking to “renegotiate” the deal, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson attacked the pact in general.

Indeed, Tillerson’s comments gave the appearance he didn’t know about the compliance, even though he was the one who signed the letter in the first place, as he attacked the P5+1 deal as a failure and accused Iran of “unchecked” nuclear ambitions posing a grave risk to the world.

Iran was never particularly close to nuclear weapons, and its leadership has repeatedly ruled out developing them. The P5+1 deal allows Iran an extremely limited civilian nuclear program, and since its implementation both the US and IAEA have repeatedly affirmed Iranian compliance.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Secretary of State Tillerson, a word, please.

You are developing an international reputation for making accusations against foreign countries, yet not providing a shred of evidence to back up your claims.

It is not only countries like Russia and China which are skeptical about the US government's geopolitical intentions; it is also the American people who are beginning to wonder what the ultimate agendas are here, which in the case of Iran, appears to be (as it is with Syria and North Korea), regime change, and by any means necessary.

And yes, we all know Israel and Saudi Arabia would just love that; but at what cost in blood and money to the American people?!?

We have, thank you very much, been lied to quite enough; whatever international steps you take henceforward, should be in the defense of We the People; not in the defense of foreign governments who do not care about what wars against these countries will cost us here at home.

Experts: Costly US Missile Defense System Probably Doesn’t Work

The political decision of whether or not the US is going to attack North Korea rests at least in part on the effectiveness of the $40 billion US missile defense system, and its ability to shoot down retaliatory strikes from North Korea. While the Pentagon has insisted they have 100% confidence they can do so, experts are warning the system probably doesn’t work.

Indeed, the Union of Concerned Scientists has even issued a statement warning that Pentagon confidence is not only unwarranted from the data, but may be misinforming politicians making decisions on starting a war on the basis of their defensive capabilities.

The experts warn that there has been very limited testing of the missile defense system, and even in those tests, which are in ideal situations and not real world conflicts, the system has only succeeded three times out of nine. In a real world scenario, it would likely be even less dependable.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Only 3 successes and 9 fails, under perfectly controlled conditions?!?

That's a 40 billion dollar epic fail, in my world.

And who is making those weapons?!? Should they not be fined, and doing hard jail time, for continuing to make something which obviously doesn't work, yet assuring politicians and the American public that they will work, when it's crunch time for them to succeed, and they can't?!?

This is a completely insane bet, to attempt to use them against North Korean missiles.

Mr. President, a word please.

The only sane way forward here is to encourage China to get North Korea back to the negotiating table, and hammer out a true peace treaty with which to replace the armistice, with the quid quo pro being that North Korea stops its nuclear weapons development program.

You're welcome, sir!!

U.S. Bombed a Mosque in Syria, Killing Dozens of Civilians, Investigators Conclude

As my colleague Alex Emmons reported last month, Syrian activists and first responders accused the United States of killing dozens of civilians in an airstrike that mistakenly targeted a mosque in the rebel-held village of al-Jinah on the evening of March 16.

Confronted with these claims, a Pentagon spokesman, Navy Captain Jeff Davis, told The Intercept that they were mistaken. “The area was extensively surveilled prior to the strike in order to minimize civilian casualties,” Davis said. “We deliberately did not target the mosque.”

As evidence, Davis provided an aerial photograph of the building destroyed in the attack, identified by U.S. officials as a “partially constructed community meeting hall.”

“The mosque in the left edge of the photo was not targeted,” Davis stressed in a briefing for reporters the next day. “Military officials believe dozens of al-Qaida terrorist leaders were killed in the strike.”

OLIVER STONE BLASTS TRUMP: “HE’S TAKEN OFF HANDCUFFS ON WAR MACHINE AND TURNED IT OVER TO GLORIFIED GENERALS”

Oliver Stone had reserved some hope for Donald Trump, as many did.

The hope was that Trump would, as he promised, drain the swamp and finally stop America’s senseless war policy.

Stone is having buyers remorse, as he comes to the realization that instead of taking down the neocon war machine, the neocons (with the enlisted help of the liberal left) pushed Trump into more endless conflict.

US military considers shooting down North Korea missile tests, sources say

The US military is considering shooting down North Korean missile tests as a show of strength to Pyongyang, two sources briefed on the planning have told the Guardian.

Amid heightened tensions over North Korea’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, the Pentagon is looking for ways short of war to pressure the country into denuclearization, particularly if Pyongyang goes forward with a sixth nuclear test.

North Korea warns 'thermonuclear war could break out at any moment'
The defense secretary, James Mattis, has briefed Congress on the option, but the military has not yet decided to intercept a test missile.

One US official said the prospective shoot-down strategy would be aimed at occurring after a nuclear test, with the objective being to signal Pyongyang that the US can impose military consequences for a step Donald Trump has described as “unacceptable”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note that this article is not sourced. And in my world, if something is not sourced, or attributable to someone, it cannot operate in the sphere of true, honest reporting.

And I hope to heck this is not really a scenario on the table; such an act by the US military against a North Korean missile test, would rightly be perceived by the North Korean government as an act of war.

Military Adventurism: The Problem is Washington, Not North Korea

Washington has never made any effort to conceal its contempt for North Korea. In the 64 years since the war ended, the US has done everything in its power to punish, humiliate and inflict pain on the Communist country. Washington has subjected the DPRK to starvation, prevented its government from accessing foreign capital and markets, strangled its economy with crippling economic sanctions, and installed lethal missile systems and military bases on their doorstep.

Negotiations aren’t possible because Washington refuses to sit down with a country which it sees as its inferior. Instead, the US has strong-armed China to do its bidding by using their diplomats as interlocutors who are expected to convey Washington’s ultimatums as threateningly as possible. The hope, of course, is that Pyongyang will cave in to Uncle Sam’s bullying and do what they are told.

Webmaster's Commentary:

it is entirely correct that North Korea has developed its nuclear weapons program as a deterrent to a potential pre-emptive US strike against it.

I seriously doubt that North Korea would ever fire the first volley at either South Korea, or American assets nearby; but I do think that if the US government and military want this war, and want it quickly, they will create some kind of "false flag" event, and blame it on North Korea.

Right now, the US government is working against a "hard deadline" of 9 May, which is when the next South Korean election will be held, and if the candidate who wins favors the "sunshine policy" toward North Korea (social/economic engagement, no military hostility against it), President Trump will have "lost the window" for a strike against North Korea for some time.

Of course, I would be reasonably certain that the American Deep State is lining the pockets of candidates who have a more "martial" approach to the "problem" of North Korea; but if that doesn't work, the US government may well be thinking about creating that above-referenced false flag.

Contractor Whose Business Model Is Price Gouging the Pentagon Has Powerful Wall St. Backers

ON MARCH 21, first-term Congressman Ro Khanna sent a letter asking the Pentagon’s inspector general to investigate TransDigm, an aerospace supplier he accused of cornering the market on proprietary parts for military aircraft and then jacking up the prices.

The California Democrat charged that TransDigm operates as a “hidden monopolist,” to “enrich a few individual financiers who stand to benefit at the expense of our troops and weapons systems.”

The letter rebounded across Washington and Wall Street. TransDigm stock dropped over 10 percent in two days. The business press highlighted the story; The Huffington Post called TransDigm “The Martin Shkreli of defense contracting.”

In a nation that once saw a senator become president in part because of his investigation of war profiteering — and where memories of the Pentagon buying $640 toilet seats still linger — the story of a greedy corporation ripping off the military seemed to have legs.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This story demonstrates precisely what is wrong with the culture of corporate weapons manufacturers, and must be stopped; it is putting our military at high risk, because unlike the US, Russia and China are getting value for their military spending, and not getting gouged.

I would strongly suggest that with any future defense contracts, that they are worded in such a way that the presidents of those companies which sign the contracts must become personally liable when these items are delivered so late as to be obsolete; do not work at all as advertise;, or are massively over budget.

And by personal liability, I mean, jail time, and not in a "Club Fed"; that SHOULD "cure the problem."

The American Government’s Secret Plan for Surviving the End of the World

Among the greatest foreign-policy dilemmas faced by former President Jimmy Carter is one that has never been publicly aired but is gaining new relevance. It concerns nuclear war, and how the U.S. government would survive it. Carter’s decisions remain classified, but documents newly declassified by the CIA, along with the archives at several presidential libraries, provide a new window into the White House’s preparations for an imminent apocalypse.

Today, such an apocalypse could be triggered by any number of nuclear-armed states, including North Korea and Pakistan. During Carter’s presidency, such anxieties were focused squarely on the Soviet Union. It was during that period that military planners in both the Soviet Union and United States began to grapple with what until then had been an unthinkable heresy: abandoning the Mutually Assured Destruction catechism that had governed global order since the 1950s and preparing for surviving an all-out nuclear war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please remember; in the case of an all-out nuclear war, those in the bowels of power in DC have their bunkers, and all the amenities necessary to survive in style; most of We the People do not.

Therefore, I would like to politely suggest that our government, our military, and the Trump Administration, find other ways of resolving its geopolitical issues with other countries through moral, hard-won, intelligent negotiations, rather than war.

What Would Korean War II Look Like?

The US could literally blow North Korea off the map using tactical nuclear weapons based in Japan, South Korea and at sea with the 7th Fleet. Or delivered by B-52 and B-1 bombers and cruise missiles. But this would cause clouds of lethal radiation and radioactive dust to blanket Japan, South Korea and heavily industrialized northeast China, including the capital, Beijing.

China would be expected to threaten retaliation against the United States, Japan and South Korea to deter a nuclear war in next door Korea. At the same time, if heavily attacked, a fight-to-the-end North Korea may fire off a number of nuclear-armed medium-range missiles at Tokyo, Osaka, Okinawa and South Korea. These missiles are hidden in caves in the mountains on wheeled transporters and hard to identify and knock out.

This is a huge risk. Such a nuclear exchange would expose about a third of the world’s economy to nuclear contamination, not to mention spreading nuclear winter around the globe.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please: bellicose hubris, and subsequent threats, will not work here.

And the price of such a war on the Korean Peninsula, in blood, money, and nuclear contamination, will be both unimaginable...and irreversible.

What needs to happen, is for China to get North Korea back on board with a summit to hammer out a true peace deal to replace the armistice, with the quid pro quo being no US invasion of North Korea, and North Korea ending its nuclear weapons program in return.

Such a plan is simple, elegant, and logical, and precludes the need for any military action against North Korea.

You're welcome, Mr. President!! :-)

Why The Donald Should Cool It On North Korea – The Fat Boy Can’t Even Deliver His ‘Little Boy’

The realized truth of modern history is crystal clear. Washington had no business intervening in a quarrel between two no-count wanna be dictators (Syngman Rhee and Kim il Sung) on the Korean peninsula in June 1950, and surely has no business still stationing 29,000 American soldiers there 67 years latter.

Yet owing to the institutionalized albatross of that mis-vectored history, the world is now much closer to the brink of nuclear war than at any time since the dark days of the early cold war. And the Donald has become just the latest political tourist in the Oval Office to succumb to the Deep State’s false, self-serving narrative about why the American imperium remains decamped on the 38th parallel.

Afghan Ex-President Karzai: Trump Committed an Atrocity With Massive Bombing

While the current Afghan government tries to defend the US use of the MOAB “Mother of All Bombs” last week against the Nangarhar Province, former President Hamid Karzai was extremely critical of the action, calling it an “immense atrocity” against fellow human beings.

Karzai complained that the current government was not offering enough comment when the US commits large strikes, saying the use of the largest non-nuclear bomb in history amounted both to a violation of Afghan sovereignty, and inherent disrespect to Afghanistan’s soil and environment.

The MOAB strike was dropped in the Achin District of Nangarhar, above what the US claimed was a substantial tunnel network used by ISIS. Though there is no sign of damage done to the tunnels, and MOAB is not intended to be a penetration bomb, President Trump has heralded it as a “successful event.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hamid Karzai is absolutely correct in his assessment here.

And I have to ask why the general who ordered this strike believed it was the right weapon to use at this time, and what the true objective really was.

Japan May Consider Deploying Troops in Case of DPRK Missile Fall in Its Waters

Japanese government is reportedly considering the possibility of deploying the Self-Defense Forces in case of a fall of a North Korean missile in the country's territorial waters.

For the first time the Japanese government is considering the possibility of deploying the Self-Defense Forces in case of a fall of a North Korean missile in the country's territorial waters, local media reported on Tuesday.
The laws adopted on March 29, 2016, divided security threats into three categories: the possibility of military aggression, obvious threat of military aggression and military aggression.

The government wants to recognize fall of a foreign missile in its territorial waters as an obvious threat of military aggression, which allows deployment of troops, the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper reported.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This posture is a huge escalation for the Japanese government, and I hope to heck that the US, Japan, and South Korea are coordinating on these moves, because any further threat against North Korea could, potentially, put Kim Jung Un into another tailspin, where he orders the launching of more missiles, some of which may probably wind up in the Sea of Japan.

Neocons Have a Long List of Endless-War Ideas for Donald Trump to Implement

After slapping Donald Trump around for several months to make him surrender his hopes for a more cooperative relationship with Russia, the neocons and their liberal-interventionist allies are now telling the battered president what he must do next: escalate war in the Middle East and ratchet up tensions with nuclear-armed Russia.

Star neocon Robert Kagan spelled out Trump’s future assignments in a column on April 9 in The Washington Post, starting out by patting the chastened president on the head for his decision to launch 59 Tomahawk missiles at an airstrip in Syria supposedly in retaliation for a chemical weapons attack blamed on the Syrian government (although no serious investigation was even conducted).

Hawaii panel asks state to prepare for North Korea attack

- Hawaii lawmakers want state officials to update plans for coping with a nuclear attack as North Korea develops nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles that can reach the islands.

N. Korean official: Ready for war if Trump wants it
The state House Public Safety Committee unanimously passed a resolution Thursday.

Committee Vice Chairman Matt LoPresti says he's not trying to spread fear. But he wants the public to know the government is taking steps to protect them in the worst case scenario.

He's aiming to get state funding to re-equip Cold War-era fallout shelters.

The resolution that moved forward Thursday said that in 1981, Oahu had hundreds of fallout shelters -- "many stocked with medical kits, food, and sanitary kits." But in later years, funding dried up, and stocks were thrown out.

Hawaii Emergency Management Agency Executive Officer Toby Clairmont showed lawmakers a response plan from 1985 that hasn't been updated since.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Considering the immense, nearly pathological dysfunction of the various areas of the Hawaiian government, I would encourage every resident of Hawaii not to count on the government of the State to truly be able to do anything concrete to help you, and encourage you to plan - and prep - for yourself, and for the people you care about.

North Korea 'will test missiles weekly', senior official tells BBC

North Korea will continue to test missiles despite international condemnation and increasing military tensions with the US, a senior official has told the BBC in Pyongyang.

"We'll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis," Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-Ryol told the BBC's John Sudworth.
He said that an "all out war" would result if the US took military action.
Earlier, US Vice-President Mike Pence warned North Korea not to test the US.
He said his country's "era of strategic patience" with North Korea was over.
Mr Pence arrived in Seoul on Sunday hours after North Korea carried out a failed missile launch.

Tensions have been escalating on the peninsula, with heated rhetoric from both North Korea and the US.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF the translation here is correct (and remember when Former Iranian Prime Minister Ahmadinejad was accused of saying something he really didn't say?!?
Israel should be wiped off the map), we are apt to witness a quick military response from the US and South Korea.

America Should Start Exploring How to End All the Wars It's Started

War-whoops and loud applause from foreign policy establishments and their media supporters have greeted President Trump’s missile strike in Syria, the dropping of the world’s largest non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan and the dispatch of a naval task force in the direction of North Korea.

This spurt in belligerence over the last week has as much to do with domestic American politics as any fundamental new development in the rest of the world. Trump needed to defuse the accusation that he was too close to President Putin and too tolerant of a Russian ally like Bashar al-Assad. The resort to military action was largely in keeping with the old Pentagon saying that “defence policy ends at the water’s edge”, meaning that it is politics inside, not outside the US, which is the real decision-maker.

Mike Pence Puts North Korea On Notice For Missile, Nuclear Tests

“North Korea would do well not to test [President Trump’s] resolve or the strength of the armed forces of the United States in this region.”

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence put North Korea on notice on Monday, warning that recent U.S. strikes in Syria and Afghanistan showed that the resolve of President Donald Trump should not be tested.

Pence and South Korean acting president Hwang Kyo-ahn, speaking a day after a failed missile test by the North and two days after a huge display of missiles in Pyongyang, also said they would strengthen anti-North Korea defenses by moving ahead with the early deployment of the THAAD missile-defense system.

Pence is on the first stop of a four-nation Asia tour intended to show America’s allies, and remind its adversaries, that the Trump administration was not turning its back on the increasingly volatile region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pence is characterising President Trump's "strength and resolve" by his actions of bombing Syria for something the Syrian government most likely didn't do, and using a MOAB in Afghanistan "because he could".

Could someone please tell me, how in the name of heaven, these actions translated into "strength and resolve", where there was absolutely no restraint, or honest fact-finding going on in Trump's White House, before these actions were taken?!?

Wash. Post Doesn’t Disclose Writer Supporting Syria Strike Is A Lobbyist For Tomahawk Missile Manufacturer

The Washington Post is allowing writer Ed Rogers to push for and praise military action against Syria without disclosing that he’s a lobbyist for defense contractor Raytheon, which makes the Tomahawk missiles used in the recent strike.

Rogers is a contributor to The Washington Post’s PostPartisan blog, where he wrote an April 8 piece praising President Donald Trump for authorizing the launch of 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airbase that reportedly housed warplanes that carried out chemical attacks against civilians.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How to bring down the elephant in the room

The reason why I decided to tackle this issue today is that the forces who broke Trump in less than a month are also the very same forces who have forced him into a political 180: the Neocons and the US deep state. However, I think that these two concepts can be fused into on I would call the “Ziocons”: basically Zionists plus some rabid Anglo imperialists à la Cheney or McCain. These are the folks who control the US corporate media, Hollywood, Congress, most of academia, etc. These are the folks who organized a ferocious assault on the “nationalist” or “patriotic” wing of Trump supporters and ousted Flynn and Bannon and these are the folks who basically staged a color revolution against Trump. There is some pretty good evidence that the person in charge of this quiet coup is Jared Kushner, a rabid Zionist. Maybe. Maybe not.

A Government of Morons

Led by a man who can barely read.
Paul Craig Roberts

It has become embarrassing to be an American. Our country has had four war criminal presidents in succession.

Violence is America. America is violence. The moronic liberals blame it on gun owners, but it is always the government that is the source of violence. That is the reason our Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment. It is not gun owners who have destroyed in whole or part eight countries. It is the armed-at-taxpayer-expense US government that commits the violence.

America’s lust for violence is now bringing the Washington morons up against people who can commit violence back: the Russians and Chinese, Iran and North Korea.

Pyongyang warns of retaliation against US ‘military hysteria’

North Korea told the United States on Saturday to end its “military hysteria” or face retaliation as the reclusive state marked the 105th birth anniversary of its founding father with mass military parades in the capital Pyongyang.

The warning came as a US aircraft carrier and destroyers steamed into waters off the Korean Peninsular.

The arrival follows what is perceived as a shift in US military policy under President Donald Trump. Last week, the US attacked a Syrian airfield for the first time with cruise missiles and this week dropped the world’s largest non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan. Another first.

Does this shift include North Korea is the question as tensions on the Korean peninsula have escalated over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile testing program in violation of UN Security Council resolutions. North Korea is reportedly building an intercontinental ballistic missile that could strike the United States.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All the pieces appear to be well in place; it is just a matter of time before something happens here, most likely instigated by the US military.

US government prepared to launch a pre-emptive attack against North Korea before its nuclear bomb test, 14 April, 2017

So far, as nearly as anyone can discern, that test hasn't happened yet.

However, the US government loves to initiate false flags, to get its geopolitical agendas moving.

Were I a betting woman, I would not bet against a false flag here, to be blamed on North Korea, to kick things off in the next week or so.

US SUCCESSFULLY TESTS NEW NUCLEAR GRAVITY BOMB

The B61-12 is a modernized version of the B61 gravity bomb, the mainstay of the Air Force’s nuclear arsenal and one of the legs of the so-called nuclear triad, along with the intercontinental ballistic missiles deployed from either ground-based silos or oceangoing submarines.

President Donald Trump has endorsed an ambitious – and expensive – plan to modernize the US nuclear triad, begun under his predecessor. The B61-12 is intended to consolidate and replace all the B61 variants currently in service.

Three successful development flight tests of the B61-12 were conducted in 2015. The March test was the first in a series scheduled to span the next three years, with the final design review due in September 2018 and the first production unit scheduled for completion by March 2020.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I wish to hell that this government would be testing the outcomes of moral, hard-won negotiations, rather than gravity bomb effectiveness!

North Korea Foreign Minister: US Becoming More Aggressive And “Making Problems”

The North Korean Foreign Minister in the video below explains how the US continues to become more aggressive toward North Korea. He explains that it is the US that creates the problems not North Korea. We all know North Korea is no saint nation, but with our own eyes we see a US carrier strike group just off their waters and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson saying, “the military option is on the table”.

The article goes on to explain how Kim Jung-un of North Korea has threatened the US. The interesting part here is there are no audio or video clips on Kim saying anything nor have I heard anything to date. If he did say something like that it would not surprise me. The US has a carrier strike force off his waters.

Donald Trump Surrenders to the War Party

It took less than three months for the War Party to force Donald Trump to abandon whatever notions he might have had about defusing tensions with Russia and disentangling the U.S. from its alliance with Islamic jihadist terror. Last week’s bombing of a Syrian airbase has put back on track the general U.S. military offensive that was begun with President Obama’s 2011 regime change operation against Libya, drastically increasing the odds that humanity will perish in nuclear winter rather than be roasted into extinction from global warming.

The DoD Has No Idea How Much The Mother Of All Bombs Costs

The giant bomb U.S. forces dropped Thursday on an ISIS training camp in Afghanistan did not cost $314 million to develop, or $16 million per unit as reported by multiple news outlets.

Every news report about cost of the “Mother of All Bombs” relied on a misreading of a 2011 article or a dubious internet website that InfoWars once linked to with a “healthy bit of skepticism.”

The actual cost of the bomb is unknown. The actual cost of the program isn’t publicly available because the Mother of All Bombs, officially known as GBU-43 or the Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB), is manufactured by the military and not a private defense company.

In fact, the Air Force doesn’t even keep track of the per unit cost, nor the cost of the program as a whole, because it is not manufactured privately.

US Airstrike on North Korea Risks Leading to '5-6 Chernobyl-Type Disasters'

If Washington decides to carry out a unilateral military action against Pyongyang, the attack could lead to a nuclear disaster affecting the entire Korean Peninsula, Director of the Center of South Korean Studies at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Zhebin told Sputnik.

"Approximately 30 nuclear power plants are operational in South Korea. Several of them could be destroyed even if conventional bombs and shells are used. This could lead to five-six Chernobyl-type disasters on a relatively small area of 99 square kilometers that could instantly turn into a place unsuitable for life," he explained.

IF YOU'RE WONDERING WHY TRUMP CAN JUST BOMB COUNTRIES; ASK OBAMA, BUSH, & CLINTON

Fast forward a few years to peace prize laureate Barack Obama, who invaded Libya without Congressional approval in 2011. The U.S. war establishment downplayed America’s role in the Libyan war to try to justify its involvement yet conveniently missed the fact that America’s role was so integral it was deemed to be the “backbone” of any NATO offensive in the 2011 conflict.

Obama took these war powers further than any president before him. He waged covert wars and overt wars across so many countries that Bush and Clinton paled in comparison. In a six-year period, he bombed seven majority-Muslim countries. He also compiled a secret “kill list,” personally signing off on murders once a week. The weekly ceremony was aptly named “Terror Tuesdays.” During the tenure of Obama’s drone strike assassination program, he also terminated American citizens without trial.

Webmaster's Commentary:

We the People no longer have Congressional Representatives; they have become representatives of the powerful corporations which back, and shape, these ongoing, immoral and illegal wars, and profit from them immensely, as do those alleged Congressional Representatives, through outright graft and fat stock portfolios.

Congressional representatives should have their financial affairs in a blind trust, as does the President, but that will, unfortunately, will only happen when pigs discover their ability to fly.

TRUMP HAS A NEW RED LINE IN SYRIA

Trump administration officials have been making stunning admissions in the days following the recent military strike on the Syrian government.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer experienced a Freudian slip when he accidentally said America’s goal in the region was to “destabilize Syria” — before he realized what he had said and attempted to backtrack. Then, he accidentally said it again. And just one day before Secretary of State Rex Tillerson left for Moscow, he told reporters the U.S. would come to the defense of innocent civilians “anywhere in the world.” Spicer elaborated on Tillerson’s sentiments.

“When you watch babies and children being gassed and suffer under barrel bombs, you are instantaneously moved to action,” the press secretary said. “I think this president’s made it very clear that if those actions were to continue, further action will definitely be considered by the United States.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sean Spicer and President Trump, a word here.

Apparently for you both, some suffering of children is "more equal" than others, because it can be used toward a specific geopolitical end.

So let's talk about about the US government-enabled Saudi assassinations of Yemeni children, shall we, as uncomfortable for you both as that may be, as this is the horror inflicted on children you don't want the world to see.

The Saudi military is routinely killing and maiming Yemeni children.

Images: dead and maimed Yemeni children from Saudi air strikes

The Saudis have blockaded Yemeni ports, to prevent food from getting in, so Yemeni children are dying the slow, painful death of malnutrition.

Images: Yemeni children dying of malnutrition, due to Saudi port blockades

And lastly, there has been an enormous spike in cancers, still births, and birth defects in Yemen, courtesy of the Saudis using depleted uranium weapons, which they got from either the US or the UK.

Images: Saudi military using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen

Images: Yemeni children with severe birth defects (warning:severely graphic)

So gentlemen, I have shown you, and the rest of our readership, the images the US government and military DO NOT WANT then American people to see; those images include the killing and maiming of Yemeni children from Saudi bombing runs; the face of slow starvation through malnutrition, caused by Saudi port blockades; images of the Saudis using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen; and the effects of depleted uranium on Yemeni children, suffering severe birth defects because of their having been poisoned in the womb by depleted uranium.

So please collectively forgive me if your "for the children" pitch rings more than hollow in Syria, as your "excuse" to bomb the military installation there.

It was simply geopolitically expedient to exploit the images of dead Syrian children you wanted the world to see, rather than the images of dead and dying Yemeni children you do not want the world to see.

BIG BANGS CAN NOT END THE WAR ON AFGHANISTAN - ADMITTING DEFEAT WILL

The U.S. generals demand, as they always do, more troops to "break the stalemate". But there is no stalemate. The Afghan farmers are winning. The Taliban control more areas now than they ever controlled since 2002.

Dropping 22,000 lbs of high explosives on some shack will not change that trend.

(Though it will drown the news that the U.S. military just bombed and killed 18 of its Kurdish proxy forces in Syria.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

Nearly 16 years on, there is no military metric by which the US/NATO invasion and occupation of Afghanistan can be characterised as a success.

What the US and NATO should do, is to withdraw all their troops as quickly as is safe, then negotiate with whatever government is left standing in Kabul for the oil pipeline and mineral rights.

Of course, such moves...would be logical.

Before attacking North Korea, please try everything else

By Grant Newsham April 12, 2017 12:07 PM (UTC+8)

The US has spent the past 25 years trying to concoct a formula that will get North Korea to relinquish its nuclear weapons program, while hoping China would help bring Pyongyang to heel.

With Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s recent statement that years of negotiations with North Korea have failed, it seems an American military response is no longer unthinkable — and in some quarters is seen as inevitable.

But the US still hasn’t played all its cards, and ought to before rolling the dice with a military strike. First, some stark reminders are in order.

Tears of a Clown Over Syrian Deaths

Boris Johnson, Britain's foreign secretary, likes to clown around, even by his own admission. So much so, it seems, that when news emerged last week of an alleged massacre of children choking from chemical weapons in Syria, Johnson was still up for jolly-good fun.

Take a look at the above picture again. This was taken at a summit in Brussels last week when some 70 nations assembled in the Belgian capital pledging financial aid for war-torn Syria. Britain's top diplomat Boris Johnson was central to the proceedings.

On the very same day, it emerged from Syria that more than 80 people, including dozens of children, were killed in an alleged chemical weapons incident in the town of Khan Shaykhun, Idlib Province. The politicians in Brussels immediately made political capital on the deaths.

WHY IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IRAN OR NORTH KOREA (OR ANYONE ELSE) HAS A NUCLEAR BOMB

Those that insist that Iraq's weapons of mass destruction were a threat that justified invasion, or that Iran's or North Korea's weapons of mass destruction are a threat that justifies new invasions, are in essence admitting that the US Government took $5 trillion of your money (over $17,000 from each of you alive today) in a gigantic swindle, because the $5 trillion nuclear deterrent isn't a deterrent after all, that it doesn't work, that nobody is really afraid of it, because they all know it was just a hoax to soak the American taxpayer for another several thousand dollars.

Was it all a hoax, Mr. Trump? Did the American people foot a $5 trillion bill in 1950s dollars for a deterrent system that isn't really a deterrent?

Syria says U.S.-led airstrikes hit IS-controlled chemical weapons depot in eastern Syria

Hundreds of civilians dead.Hypocrites and liars the US leadership are.

DAMASCUS, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian army on Thursday said the U.S.-led anti-terror coalition struck a chemical weapons depot controlled by the Islamic State (IS) group in eastern Syria, killing hundreds, including civilians.

The U.S.-led airstrikes targeted the big depot containing chemical materials in the town of Hatleh in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour on Wednesday, said the army in a statement.

It added that large numbers of civilians were among those killed due to the suffocation caused by the spread of the toxic materials.

‘Riskier than striking Syria’: Beijing warns US against attacking North Korea

China has warned the US against using military force against North Korea, after a surprise redeployment of an aircraft carrier group. Washington’s regional allies said they expect it to consult with them before any action.

Tension is mounting in the region as US President Donald Trump said he would solve the “North Korean problem” with or without China’s help.

The paper said Washington needs to accept the reality that it “has no power to put global affairs in order at the moment” and work with other leading world powers on the Korean situation through the UN Security Council, a body that the US has shun by the unilateral attack against Syria.

Mattis: Navy Strike Group Not Headed to North Korea for Any Reason

A Picard and Rivero palm to forehead moment!

With a US carrier strike group steaming toward North Korea, and top administration officials talking up the need for the US to “solve” North Korea, Russian officials today echoed a concern shared by a lot of people, that the US is about to unilaterally attack North Korea.

Defense Secretary James Mattis sought to downplay those concerns, however, insisting the carrier strike group is just in the western Pacific in general, and isn’t speeding rapidly toward the Korean Peninsula for any particular reason, and has nothing in mind when it gets there.

USA Sends the Korean Peninsula a Submarine with 154 MISILES Tomahawk

The US Navy Group Deployed near the Korean coast could include at least one Ohio-type submarine with 154 Tomahawk missiles.

The Ohio nuclear submarine joined the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier group on April 9 in the waters off the Korean Peninsula, Russian source Lenta told a Russian security source familiar with the situation.

"We have our own data on the movements of US forces and submarine forces between them. At least one submersible is located in the western part of the Pacific Ocean in an area that allows the launching of missiles against targets in the territory of Korea Of the North, "said the portal's interlocutor.

North Korea readies for war? Kim Jong-un orders evacuation of Pyongyang

Reportedly, Pyongyang's bomb shelters will not be able to accommodate the entire population of the North Korean capital. Therefore, 600,000 people - mostly individuals with criminal records - will have to leave Pyongyang to let others use bomb shelters.

It was also said that one modified Ohio type rocket carrier carrying 154 Tomahawk type missiles on board joined the US Navy deployed near the coast of the Korean Peninsula. The missile carrier is expected to arrive at the port of registration on April 18.

Xi advises Trump to be Peaceful

This guy sounds like a Statesman and he is to the point.

Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke on the phone with U.S. President Donald Trump Wednesday and emphasized that conflict on the Korean Peninsula has to be resolved through peaceful means, after Trump reiterated that he was ready to solve the North Korean nuclear issue on his own.

China's state-run broadcaster CCTV reported that Xi and Trump held a phone conversation Wednesday morning Asia time to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula and other matters of bilateral concern, five days after their summit last week. The CCTV report was issued shortly after the conversation.

Xi was reported to have told Trump, China adheres to the goal of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and calls for peaceful means to resolve the problem in order to safeguard the peace and stability of the region.

U.S. INTELLIGENCE SOURCE: SYRIA CHEMICAL WEAPONS ATTACK LAUNCHED FROM SAUDI BASE

Award-winning Iran-Contra journalist Robert Parry says the chemical weapons attack in Syria was launched from a joint Saudi-Israeli special operations base in Jordan, according to his intelligence sources.

U.S. intelligence analysts determined that a drone was responsible for the attack and “eventually came to believe that the flight was launched in Jordan from a Saudi-Israeli special operations base for supporting Syrian rebels,” according to the source.

“The suspected reason for the poison gas was to create an incident that would reverse the Trump administration’s announcement in late March that it was no longer seeking the removal of President Bashar al-Assad,” writes Parry.

Those Condemning Syria Have Themselves Recently Used Chemical Weapons

Not only did Sean Spicer say that Hitler never used chemical weapons, but Secretary of Defense Mattis said:

Even in World War II chemical weapons were not used on battlefields. Even in World War II, chemical weapons were not used on battlefields. Even in the Korean War, they were not used on battlefields.

***

Since World War I there’s been an international convention on this.

But U.S. used chemical weapons against civilians in Iraq in 2004. Evidence here, here, here, here, here, here. The use of those weapons greatly increased the rate of birth defects.

The U.S. armed and supported Iraq after it invaded Iran and engaged in a long, bloody war which included the use of chemical weapons. The U.S. provided chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein to use against Iran.

Here is former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld meeting with Saddam in the 1980’s, several months after Saddam had used chemical weapons in a massacre:

Trump says he told Xi how he bombed Syria airbase over ‘most beautiful piece of cake’

"I was sitting at the table. We had finished dinner. We're now having dessert. And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you've ever seen and President Xi was enjoying it,” Trump told Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo, during an interview that aired on Wednesday morning.

“It's so incredible. It's brilliant. It's genius. Our technology, our equipment, is better than anybody by a factor of five. I mean look, we have, in terms of technology, nobody can even come close to competing,” said Trump.

Trump spoke of a “great feeling” between himself and Xi, who he “really likes being with,” at least officially.

Hardball Diplomacy: Why Trump's Show of Force Leaves Beijing Unimpressed

The Chinese have deployed upwards of 150,000 troops to the Yalu under the pretext they are all medical personnel,or at least that is what the idiots in dc want to believe.

The timing of Donald Trump's strike on Syria was aimed at sending a strong signal to Beijing, Malaysian geopolitical analyst Mathew Maavak told Sputnik. The geopolitical analyst explained why Trump's "hardball diplomacy" left the Chinese leadership unimpressed.
Surprisingly, Xi remained silent in response to the show of force.

"If the intention was to intimidate China over North Korea's nuclear sabre-rattling, then Beijing will likely raise the stakes by providing an additional economic lifeline to Pyongyang," the Malaysian analyst suggested."

Iran the Destabilizer: A world in turmoil, thank you Mr. Trump!

Philip Giraldi • April 11, 2017

The real Donald Trump has been exposed. The man who promised a sensible and non-interventionist Middle Eastern policy and a reset with Moscow has now reneged on both pledges. His nitwit United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has directly linked Russia and Syria for punishment by the omnipotent Leader of the Free World lest anyone be confused.

The unconscionable attack on Syria based on the usual unsubstantiated allegations has shifted the playing field dramatically, with the “new sheriff in town” apparently intent on proving he is a real man who can play hardball with the rest of them. Last week Syria was blamed by all and sundry in the Establishment for an alleged chemical weapons attack just two days after the White House backed away from the Obama Administration demand that President Bashar al-Assad be removed.

President Trump, with respect, start ruthlessly purging the U.S. general officer corps

Last time we discussed your refusal to abide by the Constitution’s hard-and-fast war-making provision, a decision that merits — as it did for most of your post-1945 predecessors — impeachment proceedings. Waging war in the manner you did in Syria is the work of an absolute monarch or a dictator, not that of a popularly elected president of this republic.

Today, we must discuss a topic that has been covered in this space on multiple occasions; namely, the need for you to immediately purge — via forced retirement — scores of your general officers. The American fetish for treating these officers as god-like wonders is baseless, and must be curtailed to the greatest possible extent. Among the most obvious reasons they merit forced retirement are:

–They and their predecessors have not won a war since 1945. In truth, they have won nothing in the most war-filled 72 years in American history.

Following the incident, Moscow suspended the memorandum of understanding on flight safety in Syria with the United States, suspended work of a hotline with the Pentagon and announced that it will take additional measures to strengthen the Syrian air defense capabilities in case of possible attacks against the country.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, President Vladimir Putin described the US attack as an act of “aggression against a sovereign nation,” which was carried out based on a “made-up pretext.”

The meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the issue showed further deep divisions among sides involved in the conflict. It's not just Syria. Trump is ratcheting up wars across the world

onald Trump’s missile strikes on Syria have attracted worldwide attention (and disgraceful plaudits) in recent days. But much less airtime is being given to his administration’s risky and increasingly barbaric military escalations on several other fronts across the world.

Let’s put aside, for the time being, that the Trump administration openly admits it has no clue what it is going to do in Syria next. Or that key members of Congress and in the administration are clearly eager for “regime change” in Syria with no plan for the aftermath. And the fact that hardly anyone seems to care that Russia’s former president Dmitry Medvedev said over the weekend that Syrian strikes put the US “on the verge of a military clash with Russia” – a nuclear power with thousands of warheads.

Donald Trump's first 100 days as president – daily updates

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is precisely the kind of outcome I had hoped a Trump presidency would avoid.

My sense of betrayal by these actions on the part of the President, is searingly intense, and beyond my ability to fully articulate it.

And the sense I have of the future, for this country and the world, is Biblically apocalyptic in nature.

Because of Bernie Sanders getting cheated by the DNC for the Democratic nomination for President, American voters had only one choice: that of the war party and the American deep state.

Syria: Trump May Just have Started World War III

It reeks all over of False Flag – Gladio 2 – level ‘world’. But nobody smells it, nobody wants to see it, nobody wants to hear it – and especially, nobody wants to talk about it. The truth cannot be spoken. The attack has to be launched immediately, before any investigation could reveal the truth. That’s the way it’s always been. Kill the witnesses. That’s what Washington and its Zionist masters know best.

Leon Panetta talks Russia, Syria, and the "red line" in North Korea

Panetta also weighed in on North Korea, and what would be a “red line” in that deteriorating situation. After noting that April 15 is the birthday of the nation’s founder and that they tend to do something “provocative” on that day, he went on discuss the one thing he thinks the U.S. couldn’t tolerate.

“[The real concern here would be that as they continue to develop their ICBM capacity that they try to test an ICBM,” Panetta said. “And that they’re crazy enough to put a miniaturized nuclear weapon at the top of that ICBM in order to test it. Not necessarily to attack but to test it. I think if we see that, if intelligence presents that kind of scenario, that would be very dangerous in terms of the United States in that region and I think would indeed cross the line in dealing with North Korea.”

Guess Who’s in Charge of Guarding U.S. Nuclear Power & Weapon Sites?

American supporters of Israel were delighted to learn that an Israeli company, Magal Security Systems, owned in part by the government of Israel, is in charge of security for the most sensitive nuclear power and weapons storage facilities in the United States.

The largest perimeter security company in the world, Magal started out as a division of Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI), which was owned in part by the government of Israel. In recent years, however, Magal evolved into a publicly traded company, although IAI (and thus the government of Israel) still holds a substantial share in the highly successful firm.

What this means is that the government of Israel will have control over the security of America’s nuclear weapons.

Russia-Baiting Pushed Trump to Attack Syria — and Increases the Risks of Nuclear Annihilation

Vast efforts to portray Donald Trump as Vladimir Putin’s flunky have given Trump huge incentives to prove otherwise. Last Thursday, he began the process in a big way by ordering a missile attack on Russia’s close ally Syria. In the aftermath of the attack, the cheerleading from U.S. mass media was close to unanimous, and the assault won lots of praise on Capitol Hill. Finally, the protracted and fervent depictions of Trump as a Kremlin tool were getting some tangible results.

At this point, the anti-Russia bandwagon has gained so much momentum that a national frenzy is boosting the odds of unfathomable catastrophe. The world’s two nuclear superpowers are in confrontation mode.

It’s urgent to tell ourselves and each other: Wake up!

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russian President Putin and Prime Minister Medvedev, a word please.

Gentlemen, I would like to assure you that no thinking American I know wishes to go to war with your country.

In my case, I am a Christian Activist Pacifist/Witness, consistently exhorting my government to achieve its geopolitical goals through hard-won, moral diplomacy, rather than war.

I am utterly appalled at what the US President ordered to be done in Syria last week, and pray for all those killed and injured, as well as those who were killed and injured in the St. Petersburg blast.

Although President Trump is the country's president, and we allegedly have a Congress which is supposed to represent the will of the American people, all I see, from the presstitutes to the fawning members of Congress who saw the strike as "Presidential" to "the utterly right thing to do", is that my will, which can best be articulated as the concept of peace through trade, was not represented at all.

One of the most crucial personality traits of an excellent leader is that of restraint; and whether President Trump is getting manipulated intel data, or whether he is getting blackmailed in some way, the man demonstrated, last Thursday, that he has no restraint whatsoever.

I am watching the "crawl" from "Faux News", and they are claiming that a CBS poll claims that most Americans polled approved of these airstrikes.

I would strongly suspect that the poll was either "push polling", i.e., polling a specific demographic (Brooklyn, maybe?!?), where the pollsters can be certain of a a specific outcome, or that they were polling the criminally insane.

Poodle Trump Runs With Dogs of War

So the brash, big-mouth tycoon in the White House with an outsized ego has finally unleashed the dogs of war in Syria.

Invoking God and the suffering of “little babies”, the supposed US Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump ordered the bombing of Syria with cruise missiles launched from warships in the Mediterranean

But the upshot is this: Trump is acting like an obedient poodle going along with the Machiavellian American power system. Invoking God and suffering babies is just a shallow moral cover for his complicity in another US criminal act – in a countless list of such crimes down through history.

To save his political skin and no doubt lucrative future business opportunities for his dynasty, Trump has donned the cap of Commander-in-Chief and is groveling before the American war machine.

He is handing over an “official” license for war in Syria that the American Deep State has been craving for years.

US Intel Chiefs Urge Trump to Assassinate Kim, Other North Korea Leaders

On Friday, reports were emerging that one of the big “options” being advanced was for the United States to start deploying nuclear weapons into South Korea, a move which would both confront North Korea, and doubtless be seen as a massive provocation by nearby China.

But there’s always an escalation beyond every escalation, and US intelligence chiefs appear to have settled heavily on one, pushing the idea that the United States should just outright assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and also kill a number of other senior leaders.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Kim will no doubt set up a "dead man" switch for himself, in which his assassination automatically launches whatever working weapons he actually has in all directions.

Passover Special - Yahweh and WMD

Not many people know that the evil genius who introduced our universe to WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) was the Jewish German chemist Fritz Haber. For his work at the service of the German ministry of defense at the time of WWI, Haber is considered the ‘father of chemical warfare." Haber pioneered the weaponizing of chlorine and other poisonous gases during World War I. Haber died in 1934 on his way to Palestine. He was making Aliya.

It should also be noted that it was Jewish ‘pacifist’ Albert Einstein who, together with Leo Szilard (another Jewish physicist), initiated the Manhattan project to produce the very first nuclear weapons. In 1939, it was Einstein who proposed to President Roosevelt that the United States begin its nuclear energy project. Needless to say, the Manhattan Project was over-populated with Jewish German scientists, working day and night to build a nuclear bomb, hoping to bring total destruction on Germany and its people (not just the regime).

Making America neocon again: Trump, Putin and the Ziocons

It doesn’t take a military analyst to grasp that the American attack on a remote Syrian airfield contradicts every possible military rationale. If America really believed that Bashar Assad possessed a weapons of mass destruction stockpile and kept it in al-Shayrat airbase, launching a missile attack that could lead to the release of lethal agents into the air would be the last thing it would do. If America was determined to “neutralise” Assad’s alleged “WMD capability”, it would deploy special forces or diplomacy. No one defuses WMD with explosives, bombs or cruise missiles. It is simply unheard of.

America targeted al-Shayrat because it knew with certainty that there were no WMD in that location. It was a fireworks show. It had no military objective.

The first concern that comes to mind is why do you need a saxophonist to deliver the truth every military expert understands very well?...>>

North Korea Condemns America's "Unforgivable Acts Of Aggression"

In an ironic twist given that many consider Trump's actions a symbolic show of strength to China's Xi, Reuters reports that North Korea said on Saturday U.S. missile strikes against a Syrian airfield on Friday were "an unforgivable act of aggression" that showed its decision to develop nuclear weapons was "the right choice a million times over."

Syria: New U.S. Airstrike Support “Request Scheme” For Al-Qaeda

Al-Qaeda and its sidekick Ahra al-Sham welcomed the U.S. strikes and Abu Ivanka al Amriki on their side. The theocratic dictatorship of Saudi Arabia offered its full support as did its British creators.

The U.S. airstrike delivers a message to al-Qaeda. Whenever under military pressure al-Qaeda can now stage or fake a “chemical attack” and the U.S. will act to destroy its enemy, the Syrian government. Acts as the one last night are then direct military support by the U.S. on al-Qaeda’s request.

Trump is the third U.S. president in a row who promised less belligerence during his campaign only to deliver more after the election. The “democratic” veil of the U.S. oligarchic rule thus rips further apart.

False Flags and the Trump Administration: Expect an Erratic Flip-Flop Foreign Policy, a Return to Gunboat Diplomacy and More Illegal Wars of Aggression

International law is being more and more discarded in favor of international anarchy

It is a sad fact that in totalitarian states, but also in our so-called democracies, it seems that wars of aggression are now based and sold with official lies and fraudulent fabrications in order to fool the people. Warmongers in government know that people do not like wars, especially illegal wars of aggression, against countries that have not attacked them. That is why their first choice is to attempt to drag the people along with lies and false pretexts for war, and by dehumanizing any potential enemy through crude propaganda.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What we have in the United States is an illusion of living in a democratic republic.

Oh yes, we have elections; but these Kabuki-like processes only give us candidates which the American Deep State has vetted, and are very certain to do its will, once elected.

So ultimately, the American people have utterly no choice over their own destiny; and if the deep state is annoyed with a President, or Presidential Candidate, that person can be assassinated, sometimes very publicly, as was the case with the Kennedy brothers, and no one dares point a finger at the real culprits.

Syria: Trump May Just have Started World War III

People stand up and become disabler of the empire!

Syria is a mere square on this murderous chess board, as was Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, and many more to come. The purpose is not ‘winning a war’ – that would be too simple. The purpose is creating and leaving behind chaos, eternal chaos. In the case of Syria a balkanization of the country, what Clinton did to Yugoslavia. The old ‘divide to conquer’ – it still works after hundreds of years. People are still blinded to these oldest and most rudimentary of war strategies. They still fall for it; don’t notice; swallow the lies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I frankly don't think the worst is over here; if President Trump does order another strike against Syria, Russia may very well counter militarily.

Their "line in the sand" here is that Al-Assad must be allowed to stay; anything that counters that scenario will be most likely me with extreme prejudice.

Apr 08 08:50

It's WMD all over again. Why don't you see it?

The pressures on anyone communicating with western media from such places can only be imagined.

And then there is this simple point. Why would the Syrian government use gas at this stage in a war it has recently begun to win with conventional munitions? You don’t have to believe that the Assad state is saintly to ask this question, and I don’t believe that. Please see http://dailym.ai/2h1XZAv Carla del Ponte, for the UN, has in the past accused the *rebels* of gas use http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/10039672/UN...

Wicked and brutal they may well be, but they would have to be stupid and possibly mad to do such a thing, just as an important conference convenes in Brussels https://ec.europa.eu/neighbourhood-enlargement/news_corner/news/brusse... to discuss the future of Syria.

US Insists Russia Responsible for Syria Gas Attack

With Russia complaining that the US launched an illegal attack against Syria on Thursday night, based on unproven allegations of them launching a gas attack against northwestern Idlib Province earlier in the week, US officials have shifted to trying to blame Russia for the incident.

The Pentagon has announced that they are carrying out an investigation into the putative gas attack, saying that they want to see if Russian warplanes “took part” in the attack. Russia has insisted that no such gas attack took place to begin with, and that a Syrian conventional strike hit a rebel warehouse full of chemicals.

US officials don’t seem to be too worried about anyone proving anything, however, with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson insisting in comments today that Russia “bears responsibility” for the attack because they played such a major role in the 2013 chemical disarmament on Syria.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, folks, it's official; in even making this accusation that Russia was somehow complicit in this gas attack, the US government has just jumped the shark, indulging in this desperation on the cusp of madness through which to "justify" this rash, unjustified, stupid attack against Syria.

Trump’s Options for North Korea Include Placing Nukes in South Korea

The National Security Council has presented President Donald Trump with options to respond to North Korea's nuclear program — including putting American nukes in South Korea or killing dictator Kim Jong-un, multiple top-ranking intelligence and military officials told NBC News.

Both scenarios are part of an accelerated review of North Korea policy prepared in advance of Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week.

The White House hopes the Chinese will do more to influence Pyongyang through diplomacy and enhanced sanctions. But if that fails, and North Korea continues its development of nuclear weapons, there are other options on the table that would significantly alter U.S. policy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

PLEASE, someone out there, tell me that this is a belated, and very bad, April Fool's joke; this is the bloody best the NSC can come up with, American nukes in South Korea, or a decap strike against Kim Jung Un?!?

Would someone please remind these people that China and North Korea have a mutual defense pact

The Sino-North Korean Mutual and and Cooperation Friendship Treaty

and any attack against North Korea will be construed by China as an attack against it?!?

What should be going on here, is a massive attempt to get China, North and South Korea and the US back to the negotiating table, and creating a legitimate peace treaty with which to replace the existing armistice, with the quid pro quo being North Korea's stopping of all of its nuclear weapons programs, and submitting their sites to international inspections, as Iran does with the IAEA.

Of course, such a suggestion is .....completely logical, and therefore has most probably already been thrown out of the pile of possibilities the NSC is presenting President Trump on North Korea.

Government Killing of Civilians by Gas

One point that needs to be made, but rarely if ever mentioned, is that in the supposed rationale for US attack on Syria to avenge/prevent claimed civilian deaths by government gas attacks, the US government itself has used similar weapons openly as recently as the FBI/ATF attack on the Branch Davidian compound near Waco Texas in the spring of 1993.

76 men, women and children died in this senseless military style assault which used highly lethal military CS gas as a primary weapon. CS is not a nerve agent and it doesn’t in normal concentrations cause immediate death. But it is highly flammable, persistent and designed to incapacitate targets by causing massive biological reactions including inability to breathe, massive tearing in the eyes, nose bleeds, etc.

From being the solution, he has become an integral part of the problem. And with his bigger than life ego, petulance and stubbornness, Commander-in-Chief Trump is potentially a greater threat to world peace than the weak-willed Barack Obama whom he replaced.

Russia suspends flight safety memorandum over Syria after US missile strike – Foreign Ministry

Russia has suspended the memorandum of understanding on flight safety in Syria with the United States amid the US missile strike on Syria’s Shayrat military airfield, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement.

“Without bothering to investigate anything, the US went forward with a demonstration of force, a military confrontation with a country that is fighting international terrorism,” the Foreign Ministry’s statement reads.

BEXALERT!: Initial reports indicate Syrian airbase 'almost completely destroyed' after US strike

37 Missiles missed entirely. The 23 that did hit took out 6 old Mig-23's.From the drone footage it looks like at leats half of those landed in the grass at the edge of the runway. The US military as usual lies.

The Syrian airfield targeted by United States airstrikes early Friday was “almost completely destroyed,” a human rights group in the country said.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the missile attack damaged over a dozen hangars, a fuel depot and an air defense base. About 60 U.S. Tomahawk missiles hit the Shayrat air base, southeast of Homs, a small installation with two runways.

Trump Weighs Military "Saturation Strike" In Syria, Resulting In Russian Deaths

The Pentagon has briefed President Trump on various military options the US can conduct in response to the poison gas attack in Syria that killed scores of civilians, and which Washington has blamed on the Syrian government, a U.S. official told Reuters.

Options include things like implementing a "no fly zone" or grounding aircraft used by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces, an official quoted by Reuters said.

Another option also includes the use of Tomahawk cruise missiles to overwhelm Russian air defense systems used by the Syrian military. The official did not comment on how likely military action might be which, if any, options might be recommended by the Pentagon. According to the Intercept, this would be a “saturation strike” using dozens of cruise missiles designed to hit Syrian military targets —including military air fields — in an effort to limit future Syrian Air Force attacks on rebel positions, according to the two U.S. military officials.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Will someone please tell me that this a very bad, belated April Food's joke, and that President Trump is not seriously considering doing this?!?

This kind of bombing of Syria, creating Russian casualties, will most likely get the Russians to declare war on the US, and we're off and running toward a military conflict the US government most likely cannot win, given the state of the US military's weapons; its troop strength; its money; and its manufacturing.

and also at zerohedge.com, we have the following, deeply disturbing headline:

There is chatter of US airstrikes as soon as tonight, and Pentagon journalists are being told to stay at the Pentagon for further information tonight

Evidence Calls Western Narrative About Syrian Chemical Attack Into Question

On April 3rd, 2017, an anti-Assad journalist tweeted that the next day he would be launching a media campaign to cover airstrikes on the Hama countryside, including the use of chemical weapons. It is not clear how the reporter was able to know that chemical weapons would be used an entire day before the attacks occurred.

Observers further noted that on April 1st, 2017, a doctor on the ground in Khan Sheikhoun, Dr. Shajul Islam, had received several shipments of gas masks in the days running up to the chemical incident. The revelations on Twitter fueled speculation that opposition figures were aware of the chemical attack days before it actually happened, contesting the narrative that the Syrian government was responsible.

Trump Weighs "Saturation Strike" In Syria, Resulting In Russian Military Deaths

The Pentagon has briefed Trump on various military options contemplated against Syria among which are a "no fly zone" or the potential use of cruise missiles to take out key military installations. The current "saturation strike" proposal would likely result in Russian military deaths and mark a drastic escalation of U.S. force in Syria.

Flashback - Syria’s sarin gas stockpile destroyed, Pentagon confirms

?The entire Syrian stockpile of precursors required to make sarin gas has been destroyed by US experts on board a US neutralizer ship, Pentagon officials have confirmed.

“I am pleased to announce that the crew aboard Cape Ray has completed neutralization of 100 percent of the sarin precursor aboard the ship, which amounts to about 581 metric tons neutralized,” Pentagon spokesman Colonel Steve Warren said.

Flashback - Syria conflict: Sarin gas chemicals destroyed

The international chemical weapons watchdog says that all the precursor chemicals for sarin gas removed from Syria have been destroyed.

The 580 tonnes of chemicals were neutralised on board a specially built American ship in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said the ship's crew have now begun to neutralise 22 tonnes of sulphur mustard.

The process is part of a Russian-US deal to eliminate Syria's arsenal.

BEX Alert!!! - "BREAKING: US Military Witnessed Chemical Attack In Syria – Report"

Members of the United States Military watched as a reported gas attack was launched on civilians Tuesday in the Syrian town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Province.

NBC News broke the story: The U.S. military saw the aircraft on a radar and watched them drop the bombs, the officials said. The radar soon picked up the flashes and booms in the rebel-held area of Syria. […] One official said they believe there was a combination of two agents and while they do not believe one was chlorine, he would not say what they were.

All the radar saw were planes and bombs. Radar cannot get a bounce off of chemicals!

5 POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS FOR TRUMP’S REMARKS ON SYRIA

Speaking next to Jordan’s King Abdullah, Donald Trump said that the chemical weapons attack changed his position on Syria. He seemed to believe the fake news story that it was the Syrian government that dropped chemical weapons, rather than the forensically realistic explanation provided by Russia which explained that an illegal chemical weapons depot, where terrorists hoarded their explosives, was hit during an airstrike.

When asked about his sudden about face, Trump relied,

“I do change, and I am flexible. I am proud of that flexibility”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ivanka Trump, a word, please, and I am begging you on this: do not allow your dad, our President to "swallow the Koolaid" on this issue.

In a Russian brokered deal in 2013, all of Syria's chemical weapons were destroyed.

Syria's chemical weapons were destroyed

And the big, logical question is, qui bono?!? Who benefits?!?

And it surely as heck is not Bashar Al Assad, when Rex Tillerson said a couple of days ago, that Assad could remain, and our major headache in Syria was ISIS.

So who benefits?!?

1. The jihadists who were armed by the previous administration, who did this as a "false flag" to get your Dad angry enough against the Al-Assad government to start talking regime change.

2. The war hawks in this administration who want to see the US military do a decap strike against Damascus, which will almost inevitably lead to war with Russia.

And Ms. Trump, this would be a very lousy idea, and for the following reasons; in its current state, the US military does not have the troop strength; the weaponry; the manufacturing; or the money to insure a positive outcome to a war against Russia over Syria.

The weapons manufacturing culture in this country has to change; it should not longer be acceptable to deliver weapons so behind the curve that by the time they are field deployed, they are obsolete, and have incredible cost over-runs attached.

Russia and China are getting far better value for their weaponry dollars than does the US military, and I have one big, fat example to share with you on this; the F-35.

The Pentagon's New List of F-35 Bugs Is Predictably Awful

Our American military should no longer have to put up with flying turkeys like this, and if corporate heads need to roll to cure this, so be it!!

PAKISTAN’S MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND THE GULF STATES

Recently, Pakistan’s former army chief, General Raheel Sharif, has been appointed to lead a 40 member military alliance of Muslim nations dubbed as “the Muslim NATO.” Although the ostensible purpose of the alliance is to combat terrorism but in fact, the alliance of Sunni Muslim nations has been cobbled together by Saudi Arabia as a counterweight to Iran’s meddling in the Arab World.

Moreover, it should be kept in mind that Pakistan’s military and Saudi Arabia have very deep and institutionalized ties: thousands of Pakistani retired and serving army officers work on deputations in the Gulf Arab States. Furthermore, during the ‘80s, when Saudi Arabia lacked an efficient intelligence set-up, Pakistan’s Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) virtually played the role of Saudi Arabia’s foreign intelligence service.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government was instrumental in creating a "deal" to keep Iran from developing their nuclear weapons capabilities; why not a similar deal with Pakistan?!?

This is particularly alarming, in light of the reality that Saudi Arabia has been discovered to have been using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen; if this in fact is true, what is stopping them from using micro-nukes in Yemen?!?

The short answer is, absolutely nothing!!

DONALD TRUMP HAS JUST COMMITTED THE UNITED STATES TO A DISASTROUS WAR IN SYRIA

Rumors of war are percolating in Washington D.C., and if the Trump administration is not extremely careful it may find itself fighting several disastrous wars simultaneously. Just one day after threatening North Korea with war, Donald Trump has committed to taking military action against the Assad regime in Syria. Trump is blaming the chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib province on Tuesday on the Syrian government, and he is pledging that the United States will not just sit by and do nothing in response. Unfortunately for all of us, military contingents from Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are mixed in among the Syrian forces, and so any strike on the Syrian military could potentially spark World War 3.

The Syria Chemical Weapons Saga: The Staging of a US-NATO Sponsored Humanitarian Disaster

In the light of recent developments and accusations directed against the Syrian government, it is important once more to set the record straight: the US supported rebels possess chemical weapons.

The following article first published in December 2012 [scroll down] documents how the Pentagon not only provided chemical weapons to Al Nusra, an affiliated Al Qaeda terrorist organization, but also provided training to the rebels in the use of these weapons.

Trump: Syria's Assad ‘crossed a lot of lines’ with gas attack

PATHETIC! Trump is a total phony. He is breaking Obama's records for lies!
WW3 here we come.

President Trump is signaling a more aggressive approach toward Syria, saying on Wednesday reports of a deadly gas attack by forces loyal to Bashar Assad had “crossed a lot of lines” and moved him to rethink his strategy.

At a joint press conference on Wednesday at the White House with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Trump indicated that the Syrian leader had gone too far with an attack this week that killed dozens of his own people and injured scores more, including women and children.

“It crossed a lot of lines for me,” Trump said. “When you kill innocent children, innocent babies, little babies with a chemical gas that is so lethal that people were shocked to hear what gas it was, that crosses many lines beyond the red line. Many, many lines.”

CHINA VOWS TO DEFEND ITSELF “AT ALL COSTS” IF U.S. ATTACKS NORTH KOREA

An editorial in the Global Times, which is widely regarded as the voice of the Chinese government, warns the Trump administration that North Korea “trusts nothing but nuclear weapons” and that the regime in Pyongyang is “unlikely to surrender”.

“China has a bottom line. It will safeguard the security and stability of its Northeast area at all costs,” states the editorial.

Reviving the ‘Chemical Weapons’ Lie: New US-UK Calls for Regime Change, Military Attack Against Syria

Here it comes again. As the enemies of peace continue to pressure a new US President into deeper war commitments overseas, and as Washington’s Deep State works relentlessly opposing Russian moves in Syria at every turn, the war drums have started again – beating harder than ever now, clamouring for a new US-led attack on Syria. This morning we saw the familiar theme emerge, and just in time to provide a convenient backdrop to this week’s Brussels’ ‘Peace Talks’ and conference on “Syria’s Future”.

The US-led ‘Coalition’ prepares to make its end-run into Syria to ‘Retake Raqqa,’ and impose its Safe Zones in order to partition Syria, more media demonization of the Syrian government appears to be needed by the West.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Have all these presstitute outlets "conveniently forgotten" that the Syrian government had all of its chemical weapons destroyed in 2013, in a deal brokered by Russia?!?

Destruction of Syria's chemical weapons

What this is feeling like to me is "Assad has gassed his own people AGAIN, 2.0", to make the way clear, and "justify" US-military engineered no-fly zones and air strikes, through which to attempt regime change in Damascus.

Of course, the Russians may have other ideas on this.....

And if President Trump believes that the US military could, in fact, win a military conflict against Russia over Syria, I would implore him to please think again, and very carefully.

Because at this time in its history, the US military does not have the weaponry; the money; the troop strength; or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia over Syria; it's just not there.

Flashback: Rumsfeld 'helped Iraq get chemical weapons'

US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld helped Saddam Hussein build up his arsenal of deadly chemical and biological weapons, it was revealed last night.

As an envoy from President Reagan 19 years ago, he had a secret meeting with the Iraqi dictator and arranged enormous military assistance for his war with Iran.

The CIA had already warned that Iraq was using chemical weapons almost daily. But Mr Rumsfeld, at the time a successful executive in the pharmaceutical industry, still made it possible for Saddam to buy supplies from American firms.

They included viruses such as anthrax and bubonic plague, according to the Washington Post.
