Trump Continues Obama’s Wars Against Democracy

The reality, not talked about in public (since America isn’t a democracy), is that the United States Government propagandizes against foreign governments and then perpetrates coups and/or military invasions against them, in order to impose the U.S. empire’s dictatorial stooges, and then to crush whatever democracy had existed there. This U.S. fascism didn’t happen only in Iran in 1953, Guatemala in 1954, and Chile in 1973, but it happens also today, long after the ‘anti-communist’ excuse for it had ended in 1991.

In Pushing Saudis on Yemen Aid, US Warns About Losing Congressional Support

Despite repeatedly White House expressions of confidence that the Saudis are definitely going to start letting aid into Yemen at some point, the Saudis have shown no sign of doing so. Privately, the US has been a bit more blunt with them about the potential consequences.

The Trump Administration is trying to sell easing humanitarian aid as a way to placate the US Congress, where mounting concerns about the war crimes being committed in Yemen are seeing votes on US arms sales to the Saudi kingdom increasingly difficult to squeeze through.

The public statements from the White House are getting more frequent, with two statements on Wednesday and Friday of the past week, and officials saying over the weekend they expect more in the coming weeks, suggesting they don’t believe the Saudis will so easily allow food into Yemen.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In its two year enabling of the Saudi genocide in Yemen, the US government has been complicit in Saudi war crimes here; there is utterly no getting around this. Here are some very graphic images what the US government and military is assisting the Saudi government and military in "accomplishing" in Yemen:

Images:
Yemeni children being killed or maimed for life.

Images: Yemeni children starving to death, courtesyof the US and Saudi port blockade in Yemen.

Video demonstrating the use of DU by the Saudi Military

Images: severe birth defects in Yemeni infants

I will tell you right now, poisoning a child in the womb with depleted uranium weapons, is one of the most hideously cruel and insanely barbaric examples of outright, despicable child abuse I can imagine; and yet, obviously, the House of Saud; the Saudi Military, and the US military are perfectly comfortable doing this in Yemen.

I can understand the geopolitical potential for US/Saudi power projection by conquering Yemen; but gentlemen, please, at what moral cost to the soul of this nation will such a "victory" come, to the point where the US government is willingly "doubling down" in expanding on Saudi Arabia's war crimes in Yemen?!?

And for those you expect to fight, die, and get maimed for life (possibly from the US's use of DU in Yemen), I think they, and we, the American people, need one hell of an honest, completely factual explanation from you both as to whose “vital interests” are at stake here. Because from where I sit, it is NOT the "vital interests" of We the People, to be escalating the US military's involvement in this war, particularly when almost every expert on the issue has stated that the resolution to this issue has to be political, rather than military.

As US-Russia Tensions Rise, 1987 Nuke Treaty in Jeopardy

Over the weekend, Russia responded to the latest of what’s literally been some 4-5 years of US allegations over that test by again reiterating that they don’t see a violation, and that they are committed to the treaty.

But US-Russia tensions have gotten progressively worse through that 4-5 year span, which has turned “questions” about a possible technical violation into increasingly shrill US claims that Russia is “violating the treaty,” and threatening to withdraw from it.

In practice, the treaty is a relatively minor one among nuclear treaties, and one that officials likely believe they risk for the sake of picking more diplomatic fights with Russia. The risk, however, is that ditching this treaty will lead to the ditching of others, a partial concern given the recent US hostility toward anti-nuclear deals

Insatiable appetite: Pentagon asks for more money from the US taxpayer

The US Armed Forces lag behind the modernization process of their main opponents, and cannot sufficiently resist the challenges in Europe and East Asia. They may lose a potential war with China or Russia, according to a study by the American center Rand.

"Even the very assumption of the possibility of a major US war with Russia or China raises questions to those who have voiced the idea." What is behind this assumption: elementary cynicism, provocation, a misunderstanding of the substance of the subject, or something else? "- asked the deputy.

"The United States does not have sufficient funds to cope with the main challenges in Europe and East Asia ...". "In other words, give us money - and the more, the better." The request is for the domestic consumer," - the parliamentarian said.

Defense Contractors Hold Pentagon Hostage With Contracts

A new Government Accountability Office report, released in October 2017, details problems the services are having keeping the F-35 fleet ready for combat. One problem it highlighted was that, at a time when the Pentagon is desperate to ramp up production of new aircraft, the services have to wait an average of 172 days—nearly six months—to repair components for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), when it should only take between 60 and 90 days. While this aspect of the report garnered most of the headlines, the report reveals a much more fundamental and systemic problem involving most of the latest high-tech weapon systems: Defense contractors are creating complicated support systems for the increasingly complex weapon systems the Pentagon buys, which allows the contractors to secure long-term contracts for which they have no competition from other companies.

The F-35 serves as the ultimate example of this arrangement. Under the current plans, the American people will spend $406.5 billion for research, development, and procurement for a fleet of 2,456 F-35s. That is a staggering figure, but it pales in comparison to the costs to sustain the program. These costs are expected to top $1.2 trillion through 2060>>>

Florida rally cheers when Republican predicts Trump’s Jerusalem embassy decision may usher in Armageddon

A conservative politician at President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida suggested that the president’s controversial decision to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may usher in the biblical end times.

Republican state Senator Doug Broxson represents the Florida Panhandle in the legislature and gave an introductory speech welcoming President Trump to Florida.

“Now, I don’t know about you, but when I heard about Jerusalem — where the King of Kings [applause] where our soon coming King is coming back to Jerusalem, it is because President Trump declared Jerusalem to be capital of Israel,” Sen. Broxson predicted.

That was the only jaw-dropping line of the speech.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I had a Jean-Luc Picard double facepalm, at velocity, upon reading this.

He certainly played to his base, on this; unfortunately, what he, and his brother and sister Republicans, are most likely to reap from this is World War III, created, in large part by Israel's hubristic treatment of all their Muslim neighbors, and the Palestinians in the occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.

44,000 US Troops on ‘Unknown’ Deployments Worldwide

When the Pentagon wants to mislead the public about where US troops are, generally speaking, they just lie. Yet sometimes the number of troops is just too big to claim as a rounding error, and questions start happening.

This week, the focus is on over 44,000 US military personnel deployed to “unknown,” which immediately raises red flags, because that’s not a place. Pentagon officials, however, say there is “no good way” to describe where they are.

Pentagon spokesman Col. Rob Manning, on the one hand, presented this as an “operational security” and “denying the enemy any advantage,” including, it seems providing any specifics on who “the enemy” at this point even is.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would strongly suggest that these troops are not "unknown" to the Pentagon; they are simply...undeclared.

P.C.Roberts: Avoiding Nuclear War Is Our First Priority

***
Trump’s election was like Reagan’s. He appealed to the people instead of to the ruling interest groups. As a high official in Reagan’s government who was aligned with Reagan’s goals to end stagflation and the Cold War, I experienced first hand the cost of going against the powerful interest groups that are accustomed to ruling. We took part of their rule away from them, but now they have taken it back. And they are now stronger than before. Essentially, Trump is powerless and is limited to expressing his frustrations on Twitter.

In my opinion, the lesson being dealt to Trump will teach any future presidential candidate not to challenge the ruling oligarchy by appealing to the American people.

This means that democracy in America is stone dead. I sometimes wonder if democracy can be revived without violent revolution, and of course revolutions can go wrong.

Are Americans capable of violent revolution? If they are not, will the greedy elites remain in control until they stumble into a nuclear war?

These 8 Places Around the World Are Actively Preparing for Nuclear War

Everywhere, it seems like officials are actively preparing for the possibility of nuclear war.

Tensions are high in practically every corner of the world but somehow, despite the proliferation of imminent threats, many people are still blithely unaware of the hell that could be unleashed.

Due to tensions between the US and North Korea, the world is frantically preparing for the possibility of a nuclear attack. The US, China, Russia, North Korea, and South Korea have all shown force with bombers and destroyers, and it seems that it will only be a matter of time before one incident sparks a cascading explosion.

The governments of these 8 places are making preparations, but they'll be to little avail if people don't participate and just expect to be rescued.

State Department warns Americans they are in danger from terror attacks WORLDWIDE following Trump's Jerusalem decision

The State Department issued a new 'Worldwide Caution' to Americans traveling overseas on Wednesday, after President Donald Trump announced the U.S. has officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The update did not include specific warnings about Israel, the West Bank and Gaza; that region's travel advisory dates back to April.

But the State Department did advise Americans to avoid Jerusalem's Old City and the West Bank on Tuesday, anticipating strong reactions to Trump's speech once the subject matter became public.

The global warning advised American citizens to 'maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to increase their security awareness when traveling.'

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you can manage to not travel out of the country, but can use Skype or some other form of visual peer-to-peer conferencing software, I would highly recommend it right now.

President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital has just placed a target on the backs of every American, and every American asset, both at home and abroad.

Asia’s Other Nuclear Standoff

By roping India and Japan into its standoff with China, the U.S. is raising the nuclear stakes in Asia – including, dangerously, between India and Pakistan.

With the world focused on the scary possibility of war on the Korean Peninsula, not many people paid much attention to a series of naval exercises this past July in the Malacca Strait, a 550-mile long passage between Sumatra and Malaysia through which pass over 50,000 ships a year.

With President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un exchanging threats and insults, why would the media bother with something innocuously labeled “Malabar 17”?

They should have.

Malabar 17 brought together the US, Japanese, and Indian navies to practice shutting down a waterway through which 80 percent of China’s energy supplies travel and to war games closing off the Indian Ocean to Chinese submarines. If Korea keeps you up at night, try imagining the outcome of choking off fuel for the world’s second largest economy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

War with China (or Russia, for that matter) right now, would be the most pig-headedly, ham-fistedly stupid thing the US government could do right now.

This, unfortunately, is absolutely no guarantee that the US government won't haul off and do it. Paul Craig Roberts has made this claim, that there are plans in the works to do just that, and he presented this in an article he wrote last Spring:

Washington plans to nuke Russia and China

U.S. Military Planned First Strike Nuclear Attack on Every City in Russia and China … and Gave Many Low-Level Field Commanders the Power to Push the Button

America’s most famous whistleblower, the former military analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers which helped end the Vietnam war – has just published a book revealing that he was also one of the main nuclear war planners for the United States in the 1960s.

Ellsberg said in an interview this morning on Democracy Now that the U.S. had plans for a first strike on every city in Russia and China … and that numerous field-level commanders had the power to start nuclear Armageddon:

‘Not if, but when’: N. Korea claims US warmongering makes potential nuclear war inevitable

North Korea views the endless military drills on its borders and repeated “bellicose remarks” by top US officials as means to “provoke” a nuclear war in the region, in which the US itself will be “burnt to death by the fire.”
“The large-scale nuclear war exercises conducted by the US in succession are creating touch-and-go situation on the Korean peninsula and series of violent war remarks coming from the US high-level politicians amid such circumstances have made an outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula an established fact. The remaining question now is: when will the war break out,” a spokesperson for North Korea’s foreign ministry said Wednesday in commentary provided by state news agency KCNA.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Tomorrow is December 8th; I am hoping (and praying) that these exercises will end quietly, and the Kim Jong Un doesn't feel like uncorking another ICBM test any time soon, as a response to these exercises.

Because should war break out, the casualties, on all sides, will be enormous, including, potentially, the dependents of the American military in South Korea. And although there are very few times I agree with the guy, I think Lindsey Graham was correct about pulling US dependents out of South Korea:

Lindsey Graham Calls on the Pentagon to Pull Families of Service Members out of South Korea due to War Worries

However, for the Pentagon, such a move would be a massive "tip of the hand", telegraphing an attack was coming, so no matter how much "collateral damage" may result for military families from a blitzkrieg-style, US attack against North Korea, I don't see an evacuation of military family personnel happening for just that reason.

WHY THE GLOBALISTS NEED A WAR, AND SOON

In recent years the concept of “world war” has given way to a more insidious trend of constant and sporadic regional wars. In most cases these regional wars have helped to contribute to the steady downfall of the U.S. through accumulating national debts as well as international distrust or hatred. In fact, one might conclude that if we were to look at the macro-picture of the vast array of regional wars being perpetrated by the globalists we would see that all of them combined are amounting to a kind of world war in a different form.

PULITZER PRIZE WINNER SEYMOUR HERSH, JOHN PILGER, AND NOAM CHOMSKY ARE CONSIDERED ‘FAR-RIGHT CONSPIRACISTS’ IN THE SYCOPHANTIC NEW SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM.

Manadel al-Jamadi hung from the rusty rungs of a barred window, his hands behind his back in a style known as a Palestinian hanging. American troops beat him and demanded the unconscious prisoner reveal the whereabouts of a non-existent weapons cache. His face was hidden under a green bag and hanging down over his droopy shoulders, displacing from their sockets from gravity’s force, pushing his limp body down to the cold ground of his cell.

Half an hour passed, and the exuberant Americans soldiers started to think that the sorry Iraqi man was cheating them by playing dead ‘like a possum’, and released him from his stress position. They then realised that the prisoner had no pulse.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When telling the truth becomes criminal, the truth teller becomes, as have Hersch, Pilger, and Chompsky, anathemas to the Deep State, and are to be punished for having had the audacity to even look for the truth, particularly when that truth does not align with the official, consistently regurgitated, Deep State narrative, which has been created to further its agenda.

US bombers to fly over Korean peninsula: report

The U.S. Air Force will send a number of B-1B Lancer bombers to South Korea on Wednesday to take part in a week-long joint military exercise following Pyongyang's latest missile test, according to Yonhap News Agency.

An unspecified number of the long-range bombers will join more than 230 aircraft taking part in the two countries' largest-ever joint exercise, called "Vigilant Ace," a defense source told the South Korean news agency.

The move comes shortly after North Korea launched its first missile test in two months.

The supersonic bombers have previously flown to the peninsula in pairs as a show of force after past missile launches by the isolated nation's military.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping (and, as a Christian, praying) that nothing goes haywire between now and the end of this week, when these exercises are supposed to end, and that Kim Jong Un will not believe it to be strategically in his best interest to launch another ICBM at the conclusion of these exercises.

Russia Warns Korean Peninsula "On Brink Of War"

Following the launch of the "largest ever" US-South Korean aerial military drills, and Pyongyang's latest, most impressive, missile test, the Russian foreign ministry issued a warning that "the situation on the Korean Peninsula is on the brink of war," adding that "Kim seeks to raise the stakes before any talks."

The US and South Korea launched their largest aerial drills yet on Monday, less than a week after North Korea tested its new Hwasong-15 missile which military observers said has the capacity to strike Washington DC, or nearly any other location in the continental US. The launched shattered nearly two months of calm as many suspected the North’s benefactors in China were making good on their promises to rein in the restive state’s belligerent behavior.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping (and, as a Christian, praying) that nothing goes haywire before the end of these exercises, and that Kim Jung Un doesn't throw another ICBM into the air right after them.

IF Russia is going to offer itself as an intermediary to ratchet down the tensions here, the US government should graciously accept any assistance in doing so.

But of course, that... would be logical, so it will be immediately rejected out of hand.

CBO: Trump military buildup would cost taxpayers an extra $683 billion

The military buildup President Donald Trump has called for would cost $683 billion more than current spending plans over the next decade, according to a new analysis by the Congressional Budget Office.

To achieve the buildup, the base budget would have to reach $688 billion by 2027, more than 20 percent larger than peak defense spending during the 1980s, CBO said in a report released Monday.

The CBO score comes as Trump closes out his first year in office without substantially advancing his promise to “rebuild the military” and — with statutory budget caps in place — no clear political path to the massive defense increase required to achieve it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word, please; can we look at spending more intelligently, rather than just spending more money?!?

Because this government has been busily throwing an inordinant amount of money on weapons systems which just don't work at all as advertised.

Please consider this; are political victories, in the name of party and personal power, bought by huge corporate donations, many times from the military industrial complex, worth the ultimate price of their weapons not functioning when our military desperately needs them to work, in order to win military conflicts?!?

There is something fundamentally wrong with the culture of our weapons systems developers, if that is the way they are being allowed to think by this government, and the elements in the government which assign weapons contracts.

That, President Trump... has to change, and change immediately, if our military is to regain its competitive edge.

US military agency invests $100m in genetic extinction technologies

Technology could be used to wipe out malaria carrying mosquitos or other pests but UN experts say fears over possible military uses and unintended consequences strengthen case for a ban.

A US military agency is investing $100m in genetic extinction technologies that could wipe out malarial mosquitoes, invasive rodents or other species, emails released under freedom of information rules show.

The documents suggest that the US’s secretive Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) has become the world’s largest funder of “gene drive” research and will raise tensions ahead of a UN expert committee meeting in Montreal beginning on Tuesday.

The UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is debating whether to impose a moratorium on the gene research next year and several southern countries fear a possible military application.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Guardian, I am absolutely calling you out on this, because that last statement is fundamentally, stupidly incorrect, and you know it.

As reported in presstv.ca on 7 November of this year:

US military says collecting Russian DNA for ‘research purposes’ The article goes on to say:

"US, Israel worked on biogenetic weapons

Biogenetic weapons are defined as biological agents designed to inflict debilitating diseases or other internal bodily afflictions on a specific group of people who share a genetic code.

While it remains unclear if such weapons have ever been successfully developed, the US and Israel are known to have given it a try.

In 1998, the popular US-based technology magazine Wired reported that Israel was working on a biological agent “that would harm Arabs while leaving Jews unaffected.”

Reuters later reported that, according to British scientists, it was possible to develop such weapons given the advances in genetic mapping".

Are you so collectively naive that you don't understand that these genetic extinction technologies are about killing off far more than mosquitos?!?!

The U.S. Government Creates and Exacerbates the Nuclear Threat

The whole situation is a “Catch 22” scenario: damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. The problem: we’re American citizens and this is our country. The concurrent problem? It is our country that caused this predicament to occur with North Korea…in a pattern of American imperialism that has been going on actively for about a hundred years. The problem is twofold:

1. North Korea can strike the U.S. with an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack and/or nuclear missiles, yet:

2. The United States government, through the current and prior two administrations has set the stage for this…as either:

A purposefully-created “threat” to give America a “bogeyman”/Emmanuel Goldstein to focus on in a “Two-Minutes Hate” drill…keep the “threat level” alive, or
A threat of insignificance grown and nurtured for the express purpose of taking down the country…while reaping profits and power for the oligarchy all along.

McMaster: Potential for war with North Korea 'increasing every day

White House national security adviser HR McMaster said Saturday that North Korea represents "the greatest immediate threat to the United States" and that the potential for war with the communist nation is growing each day.

"I think it's increasing every day, which means that we are in a race, really, we are in a race to be able to solve this problem," McMaster told an audience at the Reagan National Defense Forum in Simi Valley, California when asked if North Korea's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile Tuesday had increased the chance of war.

President Donald Trump remains committed to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, McMaster said, adding that there are nonmilitary ways to deal with the issue, such as calling on China to impose greater economic sanctions against Pyongyang. McMaster noted that Beijing's "tremendous coercive economic power" over North Korea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

HR, a word, please; what, precisely, please, does China get from the US for exerting its "tremendous coercive economic power" over North Korea to get it to denuclearize?!?

And just in case, sir, you are dealing with a really stubborn case of SMD (Selective Memory Disorder), are you having difficulty remembering that a couple of weeks ago, when China sent one of its top level diplomats/Negotiators to North Korea, Kim Jong Un refused to see him?!?

Kim Jong Un Refuses to see top Chinese Amgassador

I would also like to politely remind you that the US has, historically, begrudgingly acknowledged, and lived with, nuclear nations for whose leadership our leadership didn't hold much of a positive thought; Pakistan comes to mind here. The bottom line here, is we have learned to live with nuclear armed countries we don't like, and whose leadership doesn't particularly like that of the US.

That the potential for war war between the US and North Korea getting uglier, and from your perspective, more close, on a daily basis, is not solely the fault of North Korea, but also the faults of the choices the US government has made, over the last 60- plus years of the Armistice, to not negotiate a true peace treaty with North Korea, unlimiting and unsanctioning trade, and working with North Korea to enter into dialogue about their weapons program.

It originally worked with Iran, although Israel's Netanyahu is cheerleading for a US-led war against it; there is no logical reason that it cannot work with North Korea, except that the US government is hell-bent against really giving it a logical try.

This week, as you well know, there is a huge war game, with South Korean and US troops doing what can only be interpreted as a "dry run" for a bombing campaign against North Korea. This campaign ends this Friday.

During this time-frame, I would not bet against some kind of a "false flag" happpening, to be engineered to appear that North Korea did it, as the "justification" for mounting a full-scale military campaign against it.

But you are going to have to ask yourself, Mr. McMaster, in the most bluntly honest way you can conjur, if this false flag can be done in such a way that it appears credible to the Chinese government; because if it does not, this most probably means war with China over North Korea.

Just a few thoughts, sir.

Former U.S. Defense Secretary Explains Why Nuclear Holocaust Is Now Likely

The Stanford mathematician William J. Perry was a strategic nuclear advisor to U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, and then he became U.S. Secretary of Defense under President Bill Clinton.

He stated in a speech on November 28th at the National Cathedral in Washington DC, that “inexplicably to me, we’re recreating the geopolitical hostility of the Cold War, and we’re rebuilding the nuclear dangers,” and he went so far as to make clear why "I believe that the likelihood of some sort of a nuclear catastrophe today is actually greater than it was during the Cold War."

Progress report on the US-Russian war

I am often asked if the US and Russia will go to war with each other. I always reply that they are already at war. Not a war like WWII, but a war nonetheless. This war is, at least for the time being, roughly 80% informational, 15% economic and 5% kinetic. But in political terms the outcome for the loser of this war will be no less dramatic than the outcome of WWII was for Germany: the losing country will not survive it, at least not in its present shape: either Russia will become a US colony again or the AngloZionist Empire will collapse.

At the end of the day, political regimes can only survive by the consent of those it rules. In the United States this consent is clearly in the process of being withdrawn. In Russia it has never been stronger.

US and South Korea Begging for War with North Korea. Preparation for Military Onslaught under Operation “Vigilant Ace”

On November 23, the U.S. and South Korea confirmed that they will be deploying yet another menacing military demonstration against North Korea, with 230 aircraft, including F-22 Raptor stealth fighters and F-35 aircraft, 12,000 U.S. personnel, with the participation of the U.S. marines and navy. This preparation for military onslaught against the DPRK, called “Vigilant Ace,” will begin on December 4, and this “Sword of Damocles,” which the U.S. and South Korea hold over North Korea is a perpetual form of terrorism. Confronted with these constant and deadly military threats and intolerable provocations, the DPRK had no alternative but to increase its defense, and on November 28 tested another ballistic missile.

The Folly of Deploying US Tactical Nuclear Weapons to South Korea

The mudslinging between US President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the near-daily handicapping of whether the US and North Korea are bound for war have overshadowed an important debate in South Korea over whether the US should redeploy tactical nuclear weapons (TNW) on ROK territory. Proposals that US government officials and defense experts have floated to ease South Korean worries about the credibility of the US extended deterrent have primarily focused on bolstering US/ROK conventional defenses against North Korean aggression. These measures, while necessary in the short-term, may not be sufficient to contain South Korean pressure for either US TNW deployments or development of an indigenous nuclear weapons program over the long-run, especially if the conservative party returns to power.

Russian FM Reveals First Victims in Case of War on Korean Peninsula

Russia condemns the provocative actions of the United States with regard to North Korea, as well as Washington's attempts to involve Tokyo and Seoul in provocations, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated, adding that Japan and South Korea "will become the first victims in case of the outbreak of a war on the Korean peninsula."

According to the minister, Pyongyang has refrained from launching missiles for over two months prior to the latest launch on Wednesday.

Lavrov explained that the US officials made it clear to Russia that next US drills close to the North Korean borders were not scheduled to take place until spring 2018.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The level at which the US is playing "picador" with North Korea, Russia, and China on the issue of North Korea's missile tests, is nothing less than terrifying.

And to assure Lavrov that there would be be no massive US/South Korean war games until 2018, then do a 180 degree turn on that commitment, is thoroughly geopolitically reckless on the part of this Administration, and demonstrates that it cannot possibly be trusted by the world's leadership.

Paul Craig Roberts: "Can't You See War On The Horizon?"

According to news reports in the British press, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russia’s industries to prepare themselves to be able to make a quick switch to war production.

Clearly, the Russian government would not make such an announcement unless it was convinced that the prospect of war with the West was real.

For some time I have emphasized in my columns that the consequence of years of hostile actions taken by Washington and its European vassals against Russia was leading to war.

It is easy to understand that the massive US military/security complex needs a convincing enemy in order to justify its enormous budget, that the crazed neoconservatives put their fantasy ideology of US world hegemony above the life of the planet, and that Hillary and the Democratic National Committee will do anything to overturn Trump’s presidential victory.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The short answer to the question posited by Paul Craig Roberts in this article is, HELL, yes!!

And I know I sound like a chipped CD on this but please, now is the time to prepare, if you haven't done so already. Storable food, potable water, and extra meds for yourselves and your pets. Have a way of protecting what you have stored with which you feel comfortable.

Sergey Lavrov Blasts Washington’s North Korea Policy

Everyone everywhere wanting peace, not war, should blast it, imperial madness threatening life on earth.

The Trump administration wants North Korea isolated, all countries urged to sever ties with its government.

China and Russia reject bellicosity toward the country, neither willing to sever ties, fundamentally against Washington’s imperial agenda, calling for stepping back from the brink, engaging in responsible diplomacy to resolve contentious issues - what the Trump administration refuses to do.

On Thursday, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said “sever(ing) ties with (the DPRK) would be the easiest thing to do. The question is what we will do to resolve the issue. We believe that we should pool our efforts to…reach a settlement.”

Sergey Lavrov was uncharacteristically blunt, saying “(t)he latest US action seemed to be directed towards provoking Pyongyang into taking some rash action.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lavrov is entirely correct in his assessment; he is someone I would characterize as "a true adult in the room" of geopolitics, and would be delighted to meet him one day.

But if EVER there was a moment in world history, when this country needed a department of peace, it is right the hell now.

And I am, unfortunately, thoroughly convinced that war is coming, because the US government has lost its ability to achieve its geopolitical objectives in any other way.

And Lendman is very precient when he talks about wars against Iran Russia and China; Paul Craig Roberts reported last Spring that the US government has plans to attack China and Russia, and this guy does have the contacts and knowledge of the inner workings of DC to have gotten this story correctly:

Ravaged by Cholera, Yemen Faces 2nd Preventable Scourge: Diphtheria

Diphtheria, a deadly infectious disease once thought to have been largely eradicated, has now joined cholera as a public-health scourge threatening war-torn Yemen, where a blockade by Saudi Arabia has impeded emergency aid.

Officials at the World Health Organization said Friday that at least 22 people in Yemen had died of diphtheria and nearly 200 had been sickened since it was detected three months ago.

The disease, which the medical charity Doctors Without Borders said had not been seen in Yemen for 25 years, has now spread to 13 of Yemen’s 22 governorates.

Officials warned that young children were especially vulnerable to the disease, which spreads through the air and could escalate quickly into an epidemic in Yemen if health workers there lack the antitoxins and vaccine to control it. Currently they have little of either.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, from the perspective of the thoroughly, morally depraved Saudi Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, the Yemenis, and particularly their children haven't suffered enough, and not enough of them have died from Saudi bombings; death by malnutrition; death by cholera, and death by diptheria.

And the US government is blissfully happy in enabling this genocide.

Of course, I fully understand that people in the highest levels of government in this country have had their conscience surgically removed before taking office.

I don't think that I am alone here in feeling very morally uncomfortable in being a citizen of a country which colludes in war crimes, which is precisely what the US government is doing with Saudi Arabia right now.

A MORALLY RUDDERLESS AMERICA

A U.S. Navy pilot flying over far north Okanogan County, Washington, is in hot water for leaving contrails in the sky in the shape of a penis. According to a report from CBS News affiliate KREM, people on the ground saw the image and complained. One mother was “upset because she might have to explain the drawings to her kids.” The reporter assured listeners that “we’re deliberately not showing you those drawings because they’re offensive.”

For over half a century the U.S. government has sent our military (and plenty of military aid) to foreign countries, to kill and maim and torture, to overthrow democratic governments and shore up corporate dominance, to prop up brutal dictators, and ultimately to protect America’s global hegemony.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I feel a moment coming on in which I feel compelled to honor America's painfully funny (and prophetic) comedian George Carlin, in his discussion about US foreign policy: and a warning here; this monologue is heavily laced with profanity. If you don't like it, please don't watch/listen.

EU resolution calls for arms embargo against Saudi Arabia, accuses it of war crimes

The European Parliament has adopted a resolution, which calls for an EU-wide embargo on arms sales to Saudi Arabia over the alleged war crimes it has committed in Yemen. The resolution also criticizes EU members selling arms to the Gulf kingdom.
The EU parliament “condemns in the strongest terms the ongoing violence in Yemen and all attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, which constitute war crimes,” the resolution passed on Thursday says. It goes on to say that “dozens of Saudi-led airstrikes have been blamed for indiscriminately killing and wounding civilians in violation of the laws of war, including through the use of internationally banned cluster munitions.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bravo to the EU on this one; however, unfortunately is most likely to be thoroughly ignored by the two major weapons-sellers to Saudi Arabia, and those countries would be the UK and the US.

Their Merchants of Death are simply making too much money, and all profits - no matter where they come from - are deemed "good for the economy", right?!?

US Military Reverses Course, Won’t Ban Use of Cluster Bombs

The US had planned to end its use of cluster bombs, a type of explosive that ejects smaller submunitions to kill personnel and obliterate vehicles, by 2019, but on Thursday, the Pentagon approved a new policy reversing this promise.

US President George W. Bush declared in 2008 that US would stop using cluster bombs by 2019. On Thursday, though, the Pentagon declared that the weapons have a legitimate use in military operations.

When deployed, cluster bombs scatter hundreds or thousands of bomblets across swaths of territory than can encompass several football fields. The bombs are notorious for failing to explode during the initial weapon deployment — leaving mine-like explosives that can blow up decades later. Anywhere from two to 20 percent of the bomblets released in modern cluster bombs fail to detonate on first use, according to Legacies of War, a Washington-based non-profit.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Oh, yes, Deputy Defense Secretary Shanahan, truly sensible people must agree with you on this; these bombs are marvellously useful for assassinating children and toddlers,or maiming them for life, which means far fewer numbers of able-bodied, future generations of the "designated bad guys":

“WIPE THE SOVIET UNION OFF THE MAP”: PLANNED US NUCLEAR ATTACK AGAINST USSR

All major cities of the Soviet Union were included in the list of 66 “strategic” targets. The tables below categorize each city in terms of area in square miles and the corresponding number of atomic bombs required to annihilate and kill the inhabitants of selected urban areas.

Six atomic bombs were to be used to destroy each of the larger cities including Moscow, Leningrad, Tashkent, Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa.

The Pentagon estimated that a total of 204 bombs would be required to “Wipe the Soviet Union off the Map”. The targets for a nuclear attack consisted of sixty-six major cities.

Misusing Intelligence to Sell Conflict with Iran

Although nobody knows exactly where Donald Trump intends to go with his campaign of seeking confrontation with Iran, his administration already has provided disconcerting parallels with the techniques an earlier U.S. administration used in selling its launching of a war against Iraq. Among these techniques is the cherry-picking of intelligence not to inform policy-making or to enlighten the public but instead to inculcate false perceptions among the public and thereby to muster support for a policy already chosen.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All the Israeli Firsters around President Trump are cheerleading for regime change in Tehran, but please understand: they only want this to happen at the cost of American blood and American money, and they don't give a damn about what the costs of such a war will be.

So I sincerely hope that President Trump realizes that should the US and/or Saudi Arabia attack Iran, Russia will most probably jump into the fray on Iran's side, as their military and political leadership have long vowed that should Iran be attacked, Russia willcome to its aid militarily.

Saudis Intercept Ballistic Missile Fired From Yemen

It's deja vu all over again in Saudi Arabia. Al Arabiya reports that a ballistic missile from Yemen has been intercepted on Thursday by Saudi air defense forces in southern city of Khamis Mushait in the south western province of Assir.

Huthi rebels fired a ballistic missile today that hit a military target in Saudi Arabia, rebel media in Yemen said, after the leader of the group threatened Riyadh with retaliation over a blockade.

"We confirm the success of our ballistic missile trial, which hit its military target inside Saudi Arabia," the Huthi-run Al-Masira television channel said.

Earlier, rebel chief Abdulmalik al-Huthi warned against "prolonging the blockade" imposed on Yemen following a November 4 Huthi missile attack that was intercepted near Riyadh international airport.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Somehow, in the Saudi military mindset, the rebels are not supposed to be able to hit back, in this going-on 3 year genocide against Yemen, courtesy of its butcher, Prince Salman.

AMERICA’S MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL ADDICTION

Polls show that Americans are tired of endless wars in faraway lands, but many cheer President Trump’s showering money on the Pentagon and its contractors, a paradox that President Eisenhower foresaw, writes JP Sottile.

The Military-Industrial Complex has loomed over America ever since President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of its growing influence during his prescient farewell address on Jan. 17, 1961. The Vietnam War followed shortly thereafter, and its bloody consequences cemented the image of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC) as a faceless cadre of profit-seeking warmongers who’ve wrested control of the foreign policy. That was certainly borne out by the war’s utter senselessness … and by tales of profiteering by well-connected contractors like Brown & Root.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given its current configuration, and its addictive "hold" over Congress and the President, the Military/Industrial complex virtually assures more wars, more deaths for Americans, and more misery for people around the world who have the absolute hubris to live over, or adjacent to, resources the US government and the corporations which own it, want to expropriate, and sell only for American dollars.

Collecting Russian DNA? Confronting the Threat of Ethnic-Specific Bioweapons

The United States Air Force’s 59th Medical Wing’s molecular biology branch recently was revealed to have been collecting specifically Russian RNA and synovial (connective) tissue samples, prompting fears in Russia of a possible US directed ethnic-specific bioweapons program.

TeleSUR’s article, “‘Ethnic Bomb’ Feared as US Air Force Confirms Collection of Russian DNA,” would report:

Russia has raised its concerns over attempts by the U.S. military to collect DNA samples from Russian nationals, noting the potential use of such biological samples for the purpose of creating new genetic warfare weaponry.

The U.S. Air Force has sought to calm the Kremlin’s concerns, noting that the samples would only be used for so-called “research” purposes rather than for bioterrorism.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF any element of the US government or military says something is not so, it most probably is; we have just become accustomed to their lying so completely that plausible deniability cannot possibly work for them.

And if they are not working on a biological weapon against the Russian people, what other possible motive could they have for doing this?!?

The short answer in, none whatsoever.

Trump talks to Jinping after Pyongyang's ICBM launch, says US to impose more sanctions on North Korea

The US will impose additional "major sanctions" on North Korea for its latest missile test, President Donald Trump said today as he spoke to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to press Pyonyang to halt its "provocative actions".
During the phone call, Trump underscored the determination of the US to defend itself and its allies from the growing threat posed by the North Korean regime, the White House said.

The two leaders discussed North Korea's latest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch, it said.

The missile was launched from Sain Ni, North Korea yesterday, and travelled about 1000 km before splashing down in the Sea of Japan, within Japan's Economic Exclusion Zone.

"Just spoke to President Xi Jinping of China concerning the provocative actions of North Korea. Additional major sanctions will be imposed on North Korea today. This situation will be handled!" Trump tweeted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder: just what does President Trump have left to throw at North Korea in terms of sanctions?!?

Food?!?

Medicine?!?

The optics of these kinds of sanctions would be thoroughly lousy, but it is possible Trump believes that they are the only methods left to avoid a military confrontation with Pyongyang.

And what of China's real influence here?!? A senior Chinese diplomat flew to Pyongyang a couple of weeks ago, but was rebuffed by Kim Jung Un.
Did North Korea's Kim Jung Un Just Slap China in the Face?!? This was as big an insult as Kim could possibly hurl at their benefactor, China, and yet he believed he could get away with it with impunity.

And if President Trump supports a military solution to the North Korean issue before the US or coalition members are actually attacked, how is China going to respond?!?

Lawsuit says US aid to Israel illegal under 1976 law

American aid to Israel is illegal under a decades-old law that prohibits aid to nuclear powers that have not signed the international Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), according to a lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, DC.

The lawsuit, filed this week by Grant Smith, the director of the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy, comes as the US and Israel have closed many of the gaps in negotiations over a new 10-year military aid package worth tens of billions of dollars.

Discussing the lawsuit in an interview with Court House News, Smith said the US has provided Israel an estimated $234 billion in foreign assistance since Congress passed the International Security Assistance and Arms Export Control Act in 1976, which bans aid to non-signatories of the NPT that posses nuclear weapons.

Can’t You See War On The Horizon? — Paul Craig Roberts

According to news reports in the British press, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russia’s industries to prepare themselves to be able to make a quick switch to war production. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/vladimir-putin-russia-b...

Clearly, the Russian government would not make such an announcement unless it was convinced that the prospect of war with the West was real. For some time I have emphasized in my columns that the consequence of years of hostile actions taken by Washington and its European vassals against Russia was leading to war.

Is the Islamic State a “Geopolitical Tool”? US Looks to Southeast Asia to Unleash Its ISIS-Daesh Hordes

Western think tanks have been increasingly busy cultivating a narrative to explain the sudden and spreading presence of militants linked or fighting under the banner of the self-proclaimed “Islamic State” (ISIS) across Southeast Asia.

This narrative – these think tanks would have audiences believe – entails militants fleeing Syria and Iraq, and entrenching themselves amid supposedly sectarian conflicts in Southeast Asia. The think tanks conveniently never mention how tens of thousands of militants are funding the logistical feat required to move them to Southeast Asia or sustain their militant operations in the region once they arrive.

Among these think tanks is the so-called International Crisis Group (ICG). In its report, “Jihadism in southern Thailand – A phantom menace,” it claims:

The decline of the Islamic State (ISIS) and the advent of ISIS-linked violence in South East Asia evince the possibility of a new era of transnational jihadist terrorism in the region.

Britain's secret role in Saudi Arabia's dirty war: UK troops are training army that has left a million on the brink of starvation, investigation finds

The British Army is secretly training Saudi Arabian troops to fight in Yemen, where the country has been accused of committing crimes against humanity, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Up to 50 UK military personnel have been teaching battlefield skills to soldiers who will be deployed in the so-called ‘dirty war’.

Thousands of civilians have been killed in bombing raids and an estimated one million children are facing starvation and serious illness as a result of the conflict.

The Army’s involvement is part of Britain’s ‘shameful complicity’ in the suffering, according to Tory MP and former Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You have to understand; what Saudi Prince Salman, the Butcher of Yemen, wants to see happen here, is a total and complete genocide of the Yemeni people.

And to that end, the US and UK have been incredibly complicit in making this guy's sick, twisted dream become a reality on the ground.

The picture which accompanies the article says it all; an innocent toddler, starving to death, who will probably never gain back either his intelligence or his health in full measure.

Prince Salman is utterly furious that this child, and all the other Yemeni children like him, have not already starved to death.

I am thoroughly amazed that he hasn't ordered a complete carpet bombing of the country, creating mass murder of every Yemeni civilian still breathing; but perhaps, that is his next step in the country's total obliviation and destruction.

And to the American and British legislators who have signed off on this; you no longer represent your alleged constitutents; only the corporations, particularly those merchants of death, which own you, and are making tremendous money peddling their wares to the Saudi governement for the genocide it is creating in Yemen.

And having signed off on this Saudi genocide in Yemen, this demonstrates, incontrovertibly, that you have collectively have had your consciences surgically removed before having taken office.

MOSCOW SCRAMBLES FIGHTER JET AFTER DETECTING US SPY PLANE APPROACHING RUSSIAN BORDER

Russia has scrambled a Su-30 fighter jet after detecting an American ?8? Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea, according to a Defense Ministry statement. The US spy plane was approaching at high speed to the Russian border, it said.

The Russian fighter jet buzzed the US Navy reconnaissance plane at around 1pm local time (10:00 GMT) as it was flying over the neutral waters of the Black Sea, the ministry said.

“After moving closer, the Russian [Su-30] fighter jet flew over the object and visually identified it as an American reconnaissance aircraft ?8? Poseidon,” the statement reads.

After the spy plane was intercepted by the Russian Air Force, the US aircraft changed course and flew away.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the tense environment between Russia and the US geopolitically and militarily, now is NOT the time for the US military to be playing "chicken" over neutral waters.

An Open Letter to the Biological Weapons Convention

By Janet Phelan

The 8th review conference of the Biological Weapons Convention, held in December 2016 in Geneva, saw progress in confronting the fact that one state party to the convention, the USA, was engaged in considerable violations of the prohibitions contained in the Convention. The subsequent media coverage to the report on the US’s violations, specifically articles in TASS, Natural Blaze and elsewhere, were the beginnings of acknowledgement that the US’s violations have put the entire world at risk.

In the intervening year, another report was published revealing that the US is also violating the UN 1540 Resolution...

THE DARK INEVITABILITY OF ZIONISM

Put broadly, BDS is an effort to help save the positive potential inherent in modern post-colonial society: the civilizing potential to be found in international law, in human and civil rights, in a benevolent and egalitarian rule of law for all of us.

So successful has BDS been to date, and so much potential does it have to help force Israel down the same road as white-ruled South Africa, that Israel and its surrogates in the U.S. and Europe are willing to undermine the very laws and rights that help uphold what freedoms there are within the public realm. For instance, in the U.S., the very right to engage in such a boycott is under Zionist attack, and by extension, so is the constitutional protection to free speech. American Zionists seem willing to subvert their own constitutional protections in order to support a racist foreign state.

SAUDIS WOO TORY MPS WITH LAVISH DINNERS & HOTELS AS 20 MILLION YEMENIS STARVE

The Saudi blockade of Yemen has left 20 million people on the brink of starvation, but some UK parliamentarians prefer not to notice, instead filling up their bellies with the help of royal hospitality of Riyadh, measuring in tens of thousands of pounds.

According to the Middle East Eye, members of UK parliament have accepted some £94,189 ($126,939) worth of luxury hotel stays, lavish dinners, business class flights, donations and other forms of hospitality from the Saudi government this year alone.

So far this year, 13 Conservative MPs have accepted the royal welcome, as well as one Labour MP, who reportedly got a donation worth £6,722 ($8,964), from the Saudi Kingdom.

Putin's 'Prince Vladimir' revealed: 'World's deadliest sub' can launch 20 nuclear warheads and destroy cities 6,000 miles away

A new class of Russian submarines that could decimate a city almost 6,000 miles (9,300 km) away has been unveiled.

The Knyaz Vladimir, or Prince Vladimir, can launch up to 20 nuclear warheads and dive to radar dodging depths of 400 metres, making it virtually undetectable.

A total of eight of the Borei class subs will be built by 2025, according to reports in state media, including five of the upgraded mark two vessels like the Vladimir.

NEW COLD WAR? IRAN SENDS WARSHIPS TO GULF OF MEXICO

Iranian warships are set to leave the waters of the Persian Gulf to sail across the world and tour another gulf—the one that lies between the U.S. and Mexico.

At a time when Iran is looking to expand and modernize its military in the face of what is seen as a growing U.S. threat, its newly appointed navy commander, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, held his first press conference Wednesday, announcing that a fleet of Iranian ships would soon depart for the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico en route to visits to a number of South American countries, Iran’s semiofficial Tasnim News Agency reported. The move is reportedly part of a push to project Iran’s military on a more global scale and establish international ties as President Donald Trump and his allies, including Israel and Saudi Arabia, seek to isolate the revolutionary Shiite Muslim power.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Iranian Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, a word, please:

I can understand why you would want to do this, and there should be no reason why you, and the Iranian Navy, should not be doing this. I mean, after all, the US Navy is doing "freedom of navigation" tours in disputed Chinese waters, right?!?

But I would politely suggest to you, and to Iranian President Rouhani, that the timing- and optics - may be way off right now.

Do you realize that such a journey would open your ships up to a potential US/Israeli-created "false flag",to be blamed on Iran as the "justification" for an attack against it?!?

Sir, I thought I would share this observation, to give you a chance to reconsider.

You are welcome.

SAUDI ARABIA TO BUY $7BN-WORTH OF US PRECISION WEAPONS FROM RAYTHEON & BOEING

As part of the mammoth $110-billion deal brokered by Donald Trump, Saudi Arabia is purchasing precision arms worth $7 billion from US manufacturers Raytheon and Boeing, a media report says. This is in spite of concerns over the toll on Yemen’s civilians.

Raytheon and Boeing are the two defense contractors selected to produce precision-guided munitions for the Saudi Arabian military, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter. The deal is part of the giant $110-billion weapons agreement inked by Trump and the Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz in May.

Neither the corporations nor Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the US, Prince Khalid bin Salman, chose to comment on the precision weapons sale. The Saudi diplomat said, however, that his country will follow the agreement signed by Trump and King Salman.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How terrific for the Yemeni people, in light of the fact that these arms are going to be used to continue the two year-plus Saudi Arabian-led, US militarily-enabled genocide in Yemen, courtesy of the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Salman, which is looking something like this, these days:

Images: Yemeni children killed and maimed for life from Saudi bombing runs.

Images: Yemeni chidren dying from malnutrition

Images: Yemeni children dying of cholera

In your names, folks, and with your tax dollars; how does that make you feel?!? Are you proud to be an American, whose country is colluding in war crimes with the Saudi government and military?!?

Because as an American citizen, I am, very honestly, morally outraged to be a citizen of a country which enables, and endorses war crimes against innocent civilians!!

I am honestly amazed that Prince Salman has not yet ordered a complete saturation/carpet bombing of Yemen, so that not one Yemeni individual is left standing. But perhaps he as "saved" that tactic as the next one for Yemen.

I am absolutely confident that both Sec Def Mattis and President Trump would sign off on it, and immediately, in a "Larry the Cable Guy" Get "Er Done!" kind of way.

TOP SAMANTHA POWER AIDE IS NOW LOBBYING TO UNDERMINE OPPONENTS OF YEMEN WAR

STARVING CHILDREN WITH haunting eyes and emaciated bodies. Bombed-out hospitals and homes. A cholera epidemic that is the largest and fastest-spreading in modern history. These scenes have sparked outrage and a flurry of denunciations of the U.S.-backed war in Yemen, which is led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

But that’s not to say the war has no defenders in the United States. In fact, a public relations consultant and former U.S. diplomat enlisted by the UAE has worked to discredit U.S.-based groups raising awareness of atrocities in Yemen.

Hagar Chemali previously served as a top spokesperson for Samantha Power, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Now, she is paid six figures to shape the debate about the war at the U.N., including by discrediting NGOs that advance evidence of human rights violations in Yemen, according to public disclosures and emails obtained by The Intercept.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are people on this planet who will do anything for money, including whoring for genocide; this is precisely what Hagar Chemali is doing right now, in her enabling the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, to get closer to his goal of complete anihilation of the Yemeni people, assisted by the US military.

Putin orders Russian companies to be ready for urgent transition to war-time operations

Russian President Vladimir Putin says that all major Russian companies, both state-owned and private, must be ready for a rapid transition to war-time operations, adding that the capability is crucial to national security.
According to the Kremlin press service, the Russian president made the statement on Wednesday at a conference with senior defense ministry officials and top managers of major defense companies.

“I would like to note that the ability of any economy to rapidly increase the output of defense products and services when it is needed is one of the most important conditions of the nation’s military security. All strategic and… large enterprises must be ready for this,” Putin stated.

The Russian leader added that he and senior defense officials already discussed the issue in 2015 and 2016, and asked those attending the meeting to report which problems of the previous years had been dealt with and which had not.

THE DRONE WAR UNDER TRUMP: KILLING MORE PEOPLE, HIDING MORE FACTS

President Donald Trump seems determined to undo just about everything Barack Obama has done. There is one area, however, in which he is following the lead of his predecessor: drone warfare.
Not that the public would know anything about it — or the dangerously loose oversight involved. And that’s by design.

The Trump administration is not only expanding the use of drones, it is also obscuring the facts about how many drones are being used, how many people are being killed by them, and where.

“Think back when the US pursued the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Troops weren’t allowed to engage, but there was no prohibition on drones. The same thing is happening in Niger, even before the recent attacks on US troops stationed there.”

“The government has all but officially suppressed information coming out about US policy concerning drone warfare,” Nick Mottern, veteran reporter and founder of the anti-drone activist site KnowDrones, told WhoWhatWhy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Extrajudicial assassinations, which is what the drone strikes are, are illegal, period, end of discussion, no matter how much weasel wording well-paid attorneys try to bend language which makes it so.

They are also a magnificent recruitment tool in terms of getting thos people left standing radicalized, insuring that a state of perpetual war exists for the American people.

U.S. MILITARY SHOULD ‘CHOKE’ NORTH KOREA TO ‘SUBMISSION,’ RETIRED NAVY LIEUTENANT SAYS

President Donald Trump should deploy a naval blockade against North Korea in order to stop its nuclear weapons program, argues retired Navy Lieutenant Commander Gregory Keely.

Keely, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and was also a senior advisor to the House Armed Services Committee and House Foreign Relations Committee, believes that a naval blockade is the best tactic to get Kim Jon Un to abandon his drive to obtain nuclear warheads that reach the U.S.

“Like sanctions, blockades are designed to slowly choke the recalcitrant nation to submission,” he writes in a recent op-ed for The Hill. “Unlike sanctions, a blockade provides the capabilities to monitor, intercept and enforce restrictions on what can go in and out of the target nation while providing a powerful psychological and diplomatic instrument.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am having a double Jon-Luc Picard facepalm, at warp speed, upon reading this.

Apparently, this retired Navy Lieutenant Commander Gregory Keely suffers from an acute intellectual deficiency shared others in civilian and military leadership, and this is the pathological inability to think a scenario through to its logical conclusion.

I would very much like to politely ask the gentleman, please, how this is NOT going to get China at war, on North Korea's side, should such a blockade be undertaken by the US military?!?

Why Are We Helping Saudi Arabia Destroy Yemen?

It’s remarkable that whenever you read an article about Yemen in the mainstream media, the central role of Saudi Arabia and the United States in the tragedy is glossed over or completely ignored. A recent Washington Post article purporting to tell us “how things got so bad” explains to us that, “it’s a complicated story” involving “warring regional superpowers, terrorism, oil, and an impending climate catastrophe.”

No, Washington Post, it’s simpler than that. The tragedy in Yemen is the result of foreign military intervention in the internal affairs of that country. It started with the “Arab Spring” which had all the fingerprints of State Department meddling, and it escalated with 2015’s unprovoked Saudi attack on the country to reinstall Riyadh’s preferred leader. Thousands of innocent civilians have been killed and millions more are at risk as starvation and cholera rage.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Dr. Paul, some of us, particularly contributors to WRH, HAVE been paying attention.

And what we are seeing, is a clear case of the US government colluding in Saudi war crimes; the assassinations and maiming of Yemeni children; starvation of Yemeni children to death, and the introduction of (perhaps weaponized) cholera to the country, which has slain, and will slay, countless more.

In fact, I am somewhat amazed that Prince Bin Salman hasn't ordered an all-out carpet bombing of the country, not allowing one one Yemeni individual to survive.

Perhaps that is the next step in the Butcher of Yemen's strategy.

The analogy of which I am most clearly reminded, is that if the response by the Papal Legate, who ordered a seige of the the Cathars, holding out at Montsegeur, France. When informed by his soldiers that women, children, and infants, were with the beseiged men, he gave the following order: "Kill them all; God will find his own."

But I can tell you that I am profoundly morally uncomfortable, being a citizen of a country for whose leadership, the commission of war crimes in Yemen "is no big deal"; but then again, I have always known, or at least intuited, that those on their way to seizing and consolidating political, financial, or military power in this country, have had their consciences surgically removed.

As early as the first half of 2018, China’s People’s Liberation Army is slated to commission a new multi-warhead intercontinental ballistic missile, the Dongfeng-41, that can target “anywhere in the world,” the Global Times reports.

Speaking before 2,300 delegates of the Chinese Community Party, President Xi Jinping declared that Beijing "would strive to fully transform the people's armed forces into a world-class military by the mid-21st century," worrying some of China's neighbors.

The Dongfeng-41 can reportedly reach speeds up to Mach 10 and uses dummy flares to throw off enemy air defense systems.

Intelligence: North Korea Readies A New Round Of Missile Launches - Mac Slavo

A South Korean spy/intelligence agency says that North Korea is getting ready to launch a new round of missiles. This is spiking new concerns of a clash between the regime and a coalition of American, Japanese, and South Korean forces should a test accidentally strike land.

According to Foreign Policy, the South Korean spy agency “is closely following the developments because there is a possibility that North Korea could fire an array of ballistic missiles this year under the name of a satellite launch and peaceful development of space, but in fact to ratchet up its threats against the United States,” South Korean lawmakers told reporters after a closed-door briefing with intelligence officials.

North Korea’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and missile programs is in defiance of U.N. Security Council sanctions. The communist regime has made no secret of its plans to develop a missile capable of hitting the U.S. mainland. It has fired two missiles over Japan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a betting woman, I would not bet against some kind of missile test by North Korea (or a false flag emulation of such) this Thanksgiving, 23 November, or thereabout.

South Detects "Engine Test" At North Korean Nuclear Facility

More than two months have passed since North Korea held one of its missile tests - the longest period of tranquility this year, although it may be ending soon: South Korea’s National Intelligence Service warned on Monday that it has detected suspicious activity at the North’s missile research facility – the latest sign that another test may occur by the end of the year. South Korean intelligence has on more than one occasion captured spy satellite images of the North Korean military transporting equipment from the North’s missile facility near Pyongyang. While security analysts speculated at the time that these movements could portend another missile test, none have materialized.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It looks as though the recent Chinese contingent was unable to bring about any change in Kim Jung Un's stance on his nuclear missile program.

I think it is only a question of time before he orders another missile test.

US War Zone Deaths Rising for First Time in Six Years

Escalations in US operations across the world have led to an increase in the number of US troops being killed in war zones, with 2017 the first time the year-over-year deaths have risen in six years.

26 soldiers were killed in 2016, down from 28 in 2015. This year still has a month and a half to go, and the figure is already up to 31. That death toll does not include a number of sailors killed in ship collisions, which were not inside war zones.

This is not close to the number of US combat deaths during the height of the US occupation of Iraq, with over 1,000 troops killed in 2007. Still, there is every reason to believe that the trend will be continued increases in deaths.

That’s because deployments aren’t just being done in the usual warzones of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, but increasingly US troops are finding themselves in harms way is places like Niger, where they are in small numbers with little access to backup when things turn bad.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When Karl Marx made the observation that "all wars are economic" in origin, the guy wasn't smoking opium.

These are all wars for resources; not wars for "defending the American way of life"; not for patriotism; not for "freedom", however that may be defined in the USA in the 21st century, with every keystroke, and every telephone call surveilled, and every physical movement you make recorded from your phone's GPS.

These are all about regime-change; forcing foreign governments to become more US/Western centric; expropriating resources to which neither the US government, nor the corporations which own it, have any moral right; and then insuring that these resources are all only sold to "approved " countries and only for the US dollar.

Making Nuclear Weapons Usable Again

Speaking of the situation on the Korean peninsula, he predicted that there would be "the greatest slaughter." He later requested 34 nuclear weapons for possible use in connection with the Korean situation. He would later claim that he had considered dropping "30 to 50 tactical atomic bombs" and had suggested laying a "belt of radioactive cobalt" with "an active life of between 60 and 120 years" across the northernmost part of Korea. And no, this was not President "Fire and Fury," nor was it part of the present crisis with "Rocket Man."

Detecting Disinformation Agents

There are several types of disinformation agents, from high-profile ones who gain a lot of publicity and promote well-crafted stories, to low-level ones who serve to flood the Internet with less reputable claims. This document deals primarily with the former.

The ultimate purpose of a disinformation agent is three-fold:

a) to create a sense of ridicule about anything that they include in their story so that even what is true will be not be believed by intelligent people,

b) to mislead those who are gullible enough to believe their story, and

c) to divert the efforts of those who seek to know the truth through further investigation.

Although disinformation agents are used to cover up the truth, their claims should not be written off completely, since they can still teach us something about the underlying truth that they’re meant to cover up.

NATO Adds to Turkey’s Chagrin. Turkish Good-Bye to NATO?

There has long been speculation about a Turkish good-bye to NATO.

The U.S. and its military proxy organization in Europe are doing their best to further such a move:

The image of Atatürk was displayed as a target during the drill at NATO’s Joint Warfare Center in Stavanger, Norway held between Nov. 8 and Nov. 17, while a NATO soldier posted defamatory words about Erdo?an on the social media.

Atatürk is the founder of the secular Turkey. He was designated as “target” during a desk-top drill. NATO’s Joint Warfare Center is not a low level school but an elite officer training institution led by a Major-General. The 40 Turkish soldiers who attended the training course were immediately ordered back home.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Turkey now appears, both economically, and militarily, to be moving toward a more Russian/Chinese orbit, and NATO has no one but itself to blame for this.

The US-led War Against ISIS Is Killing 31 Times More Civilians Than Claimed. Report

The Pentagon claims that its air war against ISIS is one of the most accurate in history and that it is so careful in who it targets that the 14,000 US airstrikes in Iraq have killed just 89 civilians.

It turns out that the military’s assertion is a stunning underestimation of the true human cost of Washington’s three-year-old war against ISIS. An 18-month-long investigation by the New York Times has found that the US-led military coalition is killing civilians in Iraq at a rate 31 times higher than it’s admitting.

“It is at such a distance from official claims that, in terms of civilian deaths, this may be the least transparent war in recent American history,” Azmat Khan and Anand Gopal report.

North Korea’s Submarine Ballistic Missile Program Moves Ahead: Indications of Shipbuilding and Missile Ejection Testing

Commercial satellite imagery of the Sinpo South Shipyard from November 5 indicates that North Korea is on an aggressive schedule to build and deploy its first operational ballistic missile submarine.

The continued movement of parts and components into and out of the parts yards adjacent to the construction halls indicates an ongoing shipbuilding program. The presence of what appear to be sections of a submarine’s pressure hull in the yards suggests construction of a new submarine, possibly the SINPO-C ballistic missile submarine (SSB)[1]—the follow-on to the current SINPO-class experimental ballistic missile submarine (SSBA).[2]

A probable launch canister support, or launch canister, appears to be present within the service tower at the missile test stand suggesting the ongoing ejection testing of submarine launch ballistic missiles (SLBM). Such testing could support the continued development of SLBMs, a new ballistic missile submarine or a combination of both.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In light of the fact that the land around their missile test site has been geologically compromised, this would be a very logical thing which North Korean scientists would want to do.

Japanese boat crashes into US Navy destroyer in Pacific Fleet’s 5th collision this year

A US Navy destroyer has collided with a Japanese tugboat in Sagami Bay, off the east coast of Japan, making it the fifth such incident involving the Pacific Fleet this year.

An official statement from the US Navy's 7th Fleet said the tugboat lost its propulsion and drifted into the USS Benfold on Saturday, sustaining minor damage.

“No one was injured on either vessel and Benfold sustained minimal damage, including scrapes on its side, pending a full damage assessment,” the statement read. The USS Benfold remains at sea while the Japanese boat was towed to a port in Yokosuka. The Navy said that the incident would be investigated.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That this keeps happening with the US Navy is unsettling in the extreme; more care, and more training seems to be what is necessary to prevent further incidents of this kind from happening.

Is a military coup against Trump in the cards?

In an extraordinary US Senate hearing this week, lawmakers and military officials rounded on President Trump as being a danger to world peace due to his Commander-in-Chief powers for launching nuclear weapons.

The highlight came when the hearing was told military officers have the constitutional right to disobey the president.

This was, in effect, an open call to mutiny against the president’s authority. The Senate hearing surely counts as an outstanding moment in a year of topsy-turvy politics since Donald Trump was elected 45th President of the United States on November 8 last year. Yet that moment of potential sedition seemed to pass off as a rather humdrum event.

Alaska Prepares For War With North Korea: Missiles Will Take Only 20 Minutes To Reach The State - Mac Slavo

The state of Alaska is preparing for a potential war with North Korea. The Alaskans are being urged not to evacuate, though should Kim Jong-Un launch a missile toward Alaska, it would only take 20 minutes to get there.

Emergency planners in Alaska have warned it will not attempt evacuations if a warhead is fired because time would not be on their side. Jeremy Zidek, from the state’s disaster planning team, will urge locals to find shelter rather than risk being caught in the open. He also urged families to have an emergency stash of food and water, flashlights and radios, and medical supplies including the anti-radiation pill Prussian Blue – medication that lessens the radiological impacts on your body.

Saudi Arabia Offers Arrested Royals A Deal: Your Freedom For Lots Of Cash

As we noted shortly after the Crown Prince’s purge of potential rivals within Saudi Arabia’s sprawling ruling family, while the dozens of arrests were made under the pretext of an "anti-corruption crackdown", Mohammed bin Salman’s ulterior motive was something else entirely: Replenishing the Kingdom’s depleted foreign reserves, which have been hammered for the past three years by low oil prices, with some estimating that the current purge could potentially bring in up to $800 billion in proceeds.

Furthermore, the geopolitical turmoil unleashed by the unprecedented crackdown helped push oil prices higher, creating an ancillary benefit for both the kingdom’s rulers and the upcoming IPO of Aramco.

And, in the latest confirmation that the crackdown was all about cash, the Financial Times reports today that the Saudi government has offered the new occupants of the Riyadh Ritz-Carlton a way out.... and it’s going to cost them: In some cases, as much as 70% of their net worth.

China sending special envoy to North Korea days after Trump's visit

Following President Trump’s visit to Beijing, China said Wednesday that it would send a high-level special envoy to North Korea amid an extended chill in relations between the neighbors over Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons and missile programs.

Song Tao, the head of China’s ruling Communist Party’s International Department, will travel to Pyongyang on Friday to report on outcomes of the party’s national congress held last month, the official Xinhua News Agency said.

Xinhua said Song, as president and party leader Xi Jinping’s special envoy, would carry out a “visit” in addition to delivering his report, but gave no details about his itinerary or meetings. It also made no mention of Trump’s trip to Beijing or the North’s weapons programs, although Trump has repeatedly called on Beijing to do more to use its influence to pressure Pyongyang into altering its behavior.

17 million in Yemen need food - now hospitals and water pumps will run out of fuel in three weeks

THE UNITED NATIONS warned today that fuel supplies needed to run Yemen’s hospital generators and pump clean water will run out in less than three weeks unless the Saudi-led coalition lifts its blockade.
The dire forecast came as Yemen battles one of the world’s worst outbreaks of cholera, with nearly one million people infected. Some 2,200 people have died.
Adding to the woes of aid workers on the ground, stocks of diphtheria vaccines will be emptied in two weeks unless aid deliveries are once again allowed in the country, UN spokesman Farhan Haq said.

The Saudi-led military coalition shut down Yemen’s sea and air ports as well as borders on 6 November in response to a missile attack by the Iran-backed Huthi rebels near Riyadh.

UN aid chief Mark Lowcock warned last week that unless the blockade was lifted, Yemen will face “the largest famine the world has seen for many decades, with millions of victims.”

US to Continue Refueling Saudi Warplanes During Yemen Attacks

The US Air Force plans to keep refueling Saudi Arabian warplanes committing atrocities in Yemen that have led to the world’s most pressing humanitarian crisis, according to the United Nations.
The US House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly in support of House Resolution 599 Monday, passing the measure by a vote of 366-30. The bipartisan bill does not prevent US tankers from providing fuel to Saudi warplanes but does call for a political solution to the crisis, which House Democrats apparently saw as a compromise.

These same corporations, the heads of which have all had their consciences surgically removed before taking office, contribute generously to both parties, so why shouldn't the assassinations of Yemeni innocents continue, as long as they are profitable?!? Massive Overkill: Brought to You By the Nuclear-Industrial Complex

Until recently, few of us woke up worrying about the threat of nuclear war. Such dangers seemed like Cold War relics, associated with outmoded practices like building fallout shelters and “duck and cover” drills.

But give Donald Trump credit. When it comes to nukes, he’s gotten our attention. He’s prompted renewed concern, if not outright alarm, about the possibility that such weaponry could actually be used for the first time since the 6th and 9th of August 1945. That’s what happens when the man in the Oval Office begins threatening to rain “fire and fury like the world has never seen” on another country or, as he did in his presidential campaign, claiming cryptically that, when it comes to nuclear weapons, “the devastation is very important to me.”

State Dep’t Travel Warning Admits Nusra, Tahrir al-Sham Used Chemical Weapons In Syria

By Brandon Turbeville

For years, the United States government stuck to its nonsensical claim that the Syrian government was the only party in Syria using chemical weapons despite their being no evidence that the SAA has ever used such weapons. Finally, the State Department was forced to admit that ISIS had indeed used chemical weapons but it still stuck to the claim that, out of the anti-Syrian “rebel” forces, only ISIS was dastardly enough to use them.

Now, however, a revised travel warning from the State Department’s own website has expanded the admission of Western-backed terrorists’ use of chemical weapons just a little further to include Jobhat al-Nusra, Jobhat Fatah al-Sham, and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham...

Will America Survive Washington? Is the US Preparing a Nuclear First Strike on Russia?

Lt. Gen. Viktor Poznihir, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, stated at the Moscow International Security Conference that the Operations Command of the Russian General Staff has concluded that Washington is preparing a nuclear first strike on Russia.

The other is the report that the US is collecting Russian DNA for the US Air Force weapons laboratory, the implication being that the US intends to research if a bio-weapon can be created that only targets Russians.

As far as I can ascertain, neither of these startling developments were reported in the US media. One would think that the White House would have been on the telephone to Putin giving reassurances that the US is not planning a surprise nuclear attack on Russia. One would think that the publication of US contracts for Russian DNA and Putin’s public statement about it would have immediately resulted in President Trump ordering a halt to the Russian DNA project.

Evidence mounts that PLAGUE outbreak in Africa is an engineered depopulation bioweapon

Thousands of people have been infected and over 143 are now reported dead from the plague outbreak that’s now threatening Africa, reports the UK Daily Mail. “Health officials are unsure how this year’s outbreak began,” reports the paper. “Experts warn the disease spreads quicker in heavily populated areas.”

Isn’t it interesting that just as Prince William is calling for “urgent depopulation efforts” in Africa, we suddenly have the rapid spread of the plague from unknown origins? As Natural News previously reported, Prince William appears to be pushing for depopulation efforts across Africa in the name of environmentalism:

Trump’s Pivot to Asia – An Arms Sales Bonanza – An Anti-Peace Trip

***
We know about Obama’s several years of pivoting to Asia. It resulted largely in the TPP, the Transpacific Partnership, a trade agreement between 12 countries including the US. The first thing Trump did when he came on board is canceling it, claiming that it would only harm the US. Canceling it, in fact, was a good thing, since contrary to what Trump understands, or claims to understand, of US-made international trade, the Asian partners would have suffered, not the US. There is not one single trade agreement the US has instigated, bilateral or multilateral, where the US came out as a loser, or even as an equal, always a winner. The original meaning of trade is not winning or losing, but it is an exchange of equals with equal benefits for all partners. US Air Force official: Missile targeting Saudis was Iranian

Iran manufactured the ballistic missile fired by Yemen’s Shiite rebels toward the Saudi capital and remnants of it bore “Iranian markings,” the top U.S. Air Force official in the Mideast said Friday, backing the kingdom’s earlier allegations.

The comments by Lt. Gen. Jeffrey L. Harrigian, who oversees the Air Force’s Central Command in Qatar, further internationalizes the yearslong conflict in Yemen — the Arab world’s poorest country.

Saudi Arabia long has accused Iran of giving weapons to the Shiite rebels known as Houthis and their allies, though Tehran has just as long denied supplying them. Riyadh quickly backed up Harrigian’s allegations in a statement to The Associated Press.

“There have been Iranian markings on those missiles,” Harrigian told journalists at a news conference in Dubai ahead of the Dubai Air Show. “To me, that connects the dots to Iran.”

There was no immediate reaction from Tehran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lt. Gen. Jeffrey L. Harrigian, a word, sir, please: have you not recieved the memo that the "big lie" went out with the whoopie cushion and the dribble glass?!?

Yemen's Defense Ministry said the missile attack "shook the Saudi capital" and the operation was successful. The attack was conducted using a Yemeni-made, long-range missile called the Burqan 2H, it said.

Yemeni missile strikes Saudi capital cith Riyadh

Sir, this is rather like pregnancy; either the weapon was Yemeni manufactured and launched, or it was not. You cannot have this both ways. And so far, both Yemeni and Saudi military experts claimed that the weapon was Yemeni in origin.

Yes, we all know what the agenda here is; to lie the American people into yet another bloody war in the Middle East against Iran for its oil resources, for which the Saudis and Israelis have been cheerleading for quite some time.

But you and your colleagues, pushing for this war, are facing a far more war-skeptical, and war-weary nation than you were right after 9/11, when the US was lied into swallowing whole that bit of codswallop that Saddam Hussein had "weapons of mass destruction."

The price for lying to the American people, and the world, Lt. Harrigian, is to never be believed again; and in your "taking one for the team" on this assertion that the missile was Iranian, and not Yemeni in origin, you have just sacrificed every bit of professional credibility you ever had, sir.

And please understand the following; while Riyadh and Tel Aviv have been advocating for regime change in Tehran, they fully expect this do be accomplished at the costs of American blood, and American money.

And please remember; should we go to war against Iran, Russian military and civilian leadership has vowed to protect it militarily; war with Russia ...over Iran?!?

For whom, sir, would this really be worth the cost?!? Not for the American kids who will die and get maimed for life in such a war; thank you, no.

As North Korean threat grows, Hawaii prepares for nuclear attack

or decades, the wail of the nuclear bomb warning siren was ubiquitous in U.S. cities. Public service commercials drilled the “duck and cover” mantra into the minds of Americans, and the possibility of a Soviet attack was always around the corner.

But after the Cold War, most places abandoned their sirens. Fears of terrorism grew more urgent and, for many younger Americans, being on notice for nuclear war became a relic of the past.

That’s no longer the case in Hawaii.

Amid increasing North Korean threats against the U.S., Hawaii has launched the most aggressive effort in the country to prepare for attack. TV commercials warn the state’s 1.4 million residents to “get inside, stay inside” if a bomb drops. State officials are holding online forums and flying between islands for town halls to field questions from residents.

On Dec. 1, the nuclear attack warning siren will be heard in the state for the first time in more than three decades.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Kim Jung Un is many things; stupid ... is not one of them.

He understands, perfectly well, that a first strike bombing of an American state, or asset, would result in his country getting bombed into molten glass by a US led coalition.

What is perhaps a more likely scenario is one of the Hawaiian islands being "sacrificed" in a false flag attack; it would not be the first time that this has happened. Think about the "incident" which drew the US into the Second World War.

The Saudi blockade of Yemen is starving kids and killing thousands, so why is Washington still defending it?

Yemen is considered the world’s worst humanitarian disaster by the U.N.

Now, at this point, you may be thinking, “This is shocking, but ultimately not surprising. The Middle East is a chaotic and violent place, and it has been for some time. What’s happening in Yemen is an extension of the broader Sunni vs. Shiite conflict, and while it’s incredibly tragic, this is a regional conflict that we as Americans obviously can’t solve.”

True enough, but here’s the thing: That Saudi-led coalition is made possible by Washington. The blockade is happening with our government’s endorsement, and the entire Saudi intervention is happening with our government’s material and intelligence support. Washington is selling the Saudis weapons, refueling their bombers, planning their flights and using our Navy to bolster the blockade in Yemen’s ports. Ending U.S. support wouldn’t magically make Yemen peaceful, but it would let in the food and medicine ordinary people desperately need.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prince Salman, the principal architect of this genocide, has many honorifics by which he is described, due to his damned good luck in having been born into the House of Saud; however, there is one which will haunt him to his grave and beyond, and that is the following: the Butcher of Yemen.

Yes I said it, and out loud. It is absolutely impossible not to say, looking at the ongoing carnage in Yemen.

As someone who loves people in general, and hates to see people hurting or suffering, I am thoroughly appalled and disgusted to see the US government enabling Saudi war crimes in Yemen. And yet, under President Trump's watch, this is precisely what I am seeing happening in Yemen.

In fact, I am surprised that the Saudi Arabian military hasn't carpet bombed the country, killing every single Yemeni infant, woman, and medically fragile elderly person still standing; but perhaps, that is what is to come, particularly if Saudi Arabia plans to go in to Lebanon to goad Iran into fighting for Lebanese integrity, so Saudi Arabia can declare war against it.

In Seoul, Trump Delivers War Ultimatum to North Korea. Complete, Unconditional Surrender to US Dictates, or Total War

Trump’s address was not, in any sense, intended to encourage or indicate a road to a peaceful solution to the stand-off over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile programs. It was, instead, belligerent and provocative. North Korea was offered the choice of complete, unconditional surrender to American dictates, or total war.

Trump summed up Washington’s stance in the concluding section of his 32-minute speech, declaring:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks like President Trump is plannning for a multi-front war, against Iran North Korea; Russia; and China, unfortunately.

I am not a betting woman, but were I one, I would bet that hostilities could begin well before the Thanksgiving weekend, and we will see the reimposition of the draft in this country by the first of next year.

In looking at history, FDR had a draft in place almost 9 months before the US declared war on Japan in World War II.

President Trump does not have that luxury, as there is no draft per se in place, only registration; I think Congress would sign off on it in a heartbeat, probably right after the Christmas recess.

"You cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept," he said, calling on "every nation, including China and Russia," to fully implement recent U.N. Security Council resolutions on North Korea.

Trump has praised President Xi Jinping for taking some steps against the hermit kingdom but urged him to do more, as White House officials believe the border between China and North Korea remains a trade corridor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China has been very clear that it is has done all that it can do regarding North Korea, particularly in light of the following statement by the Chinese government on how it has observed the UN Security Council Resolutions regarding this:

China Says it Fully Implements its Commitments on DPRK After Trump's Demand

IF China says they have done all they can do, President Trump is left with three choices regarding North Korea's nuclear program; a decap strike against Pyongyang, which will have the US and China at war with each other; find a way to depose Kim Jung Un from within; or simply view North Korea as an extant nuclear power, and deal with it on that level.

BRITISH ARMS SALES TO SAUDI ARABIA JUMP 500% AS COALITION SEALS OFF YEMEN BORDERS

The sale of UK-made bombs and missiles to Saudi Arabia has leapt by almost 500 percent, according to new data from Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT). British munitions have been used in the Saudi-led coalition war in Yemen, contributing to the humanitarian catastrophe there.

Data collated by CAAT shows the UK government had made £4.7 billion from exporting arms and other controlled goods to Saudi since the start of the Yemen war in March 2015, compared to £6 billion worth in the period from January 2008 to April 2015 – a 457 percent increase.

The news comes as Saudi-led coalition forces made the decision on Monday to close temporarily all entry points to Yemen, effectively sealing the country off from the rest of the world.

The UK Government had been widely criticized for its continued assistance in the war on Yemen while simultaneously spending millions on humanitarian aid. In 2017, it sent £155 million to the war-torn country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

US SPENT $5.6 TRILLION ON WARS SINCE 9/11 – STUDY

Washington has expended a whopping $5.6 trillion on wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan since 2001, according to a new study. That figure is more than three times what the Pentagon has claimed in official estimates.

Research from the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs at Brown University found that as of late September, the US wars combined with “additional spending on Homeland Security and the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs” had totaled more than $4.3 trillion since the 9/11 attacks in 2001. That number surged to $5.6 trillion once likely costs were added for fiscal year 2018, along with estimated future spending on veterans.

The study noted that its figure is drastically different from the $1.52 trillion which the Pentagon claims the wars have cost US taxpayers between fiscal years 2001 and 2018. That number was given in an earlier Pentagon report titled ‘Estimated Cost to Each Taxpayer for the Wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.’

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wars, unless very short and very successful, will bankrupt a country over time; this is precisely what is happening to the Occupied, Unhinged, Surveilled States of Amerika.

NEVER FORGET: THE US GOV’T CARRIED OUT THE LARGEST CHURCH MASSACRE—24 YEARS AGO, IN TEXAS

Now, some of those in the mainstream media are calling Sutherland Springs the deadly massacre in a church in US history. However, the actual largest church massacre in history had a far greater death toll.

The US government carried out the deadliest church massacre in history and it led to the deaths of 82 men, women, and children. It all came to a violent end 24 years ago in Texas.

Our source material comes from the FBI’s own vault, which contains two files on the case against Vernon Howell, also known as David Koresh. Koresh was the leader of the “Branch Davidians Seventh Day Adventists.” According to the FBI case file, Koresh was believed to have been holding people against their will at his compound in Waco, Texas, potentially guilty of “involuntary servitude and slavery” charges.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As reported at the NYT in 1999:

Internal F.B.I. documents disclosed today by a Democratic lawmaker show that information about the use of combustible tear-gas canisters at the 1993 Branch Davidian siege near Waco, Tex., has sat in the Justice Department's files for years and was even sent to Congress no later than 1995.

The documents cast new light on when different parts of the Government first had information about the use of the tear gas cannisters and may alter the dynamics of the renewed outcry over events surrounding the Federal Bureau of Investigation tear-gas attack at the Branch Davidian compound, which burned to the ground on April 19, 1993.

The documents show that even though the Justice Department sent United States marshals to the F.B.I.'s headquarters two weeks ago to seize infrared videotapes that contained references to the use of the tear gas rounds, the department had for years possessed F.B.I. records in its own files that showed such devices were used at the cult's compound. The seizure was ordered by Attorney General Janet Reno, who was angry because she had maintained for six years that the F.B.I. had done nothing that could have caused the fire.

In addition, the documents provide evidence that the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which has been accused by some in Congress, the Clinton Administration and the public of misleading the Justice Department about the issue, did provide information about the use of the rounds to Ms. Reno's subordinates on several occasions. Ms. Reno has said she did not see any documents on the subject until two weeks ago.

The Clinton's dear Attorney General, "Bloody" Janet Reno, was precisely the person both of them wanted to have in that position; a mass murderer, slavishly and fanatically devoted to the State, Uber Alles, and a sociopathic liar to boot.

Saudi Arabia’s King to 'stand down and hand power to son after purging' rivals

KING Salman is reportedly preparing to make his son Prince Mohammed bin Salman the ruler of Saudi Arabia in a shock move following a corruption purge, reports claim.

Saudi expert James Dorsey, a senior fellow at Singapore's S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, said: "The most recent crackdown breaks with the tradition of consensus within the ruling family whose secretive inner workings are equivalent to those of the Kremlin at the time of the Soviet Union.

"Prince Mohammed, rather than forging alliances, is extending his iron grip to the ruling family, the military, and the National Guard to counter what appears to be more widespread opposition within the family as well as the military to his reforms and the Yemen war.”

The news comes after the US promised to aid Saudi Arabia in neutralising “Iran’s destabilising influence” and battle extremism in the Middle East, the Pentagon has announced.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These events are moving a breakneck speed.

The Saudi-led, US-government enabled genocide in Yemen will continue unabated now, and will soon spread into both Lebanon, and Iran.

Iran-North Korea's 'axis of evil' may be Trump's biggest threat

With sanctions and rhetoric, President Donald Trump may be pushing North Korea and Iran closer together. On Wednesday, while in Seoul on his Asia tour, three U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups displayed military strength nearby, while Trump gave dire warnings to North Korea's leader to abandon nuclear weapons. "Do not underestimate us, and do not try us," Trump said while addressing the National Assembly. It's a dangerous game of brinkmanship.

In refusing to certify Iranian compliance with the JCPOA — the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, otherwise known as the Iran nuclear deal — the Trump administration hopes to keep Iran from becoming another nuclear armed adversary state.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Demonizing both North Korea and Iran with these accusations of weapons collusion is not helping ramp down the tensions in either case.

and let's face it here; if you were either Kim Jung Un or Iran's Rouhani, wouldn't you want to do everything possible to keep your governments from being regime changed by the US?!?

There is only one logical answer here, and that ISN'T "no".

And with President Trump having decertified the P5+1 deal, from the US government's perspective, what he has demonstrated to North Korea is that the US government cannot ever be expected to keep its word on a treaty.

Saudi Arabia Says Lebanon, Iran Declare War

Over the weekend, Saudi Arabia intercepted a ballistic missile fired by north Yemeni forces at their capital city. The missile was identified as a Burqan 2H, a Yemeni design, and Yemen’s Defense Ministry confirmed firing it.

Rather than just the latest retaliation in Saudi Arabia’s two and a half year war in Yemen, however, Saudi officials seem to be looking to turn the incident into the start of a region-wide war, saying it amounted to a declaration of war against them by both Lebanon and Iran.

This claim centers on Saudi claims, which appear to have started Monday but weren’t mentioned over the weekend when the interception happened, that the missile was an “Iranian” missile, fired at the Saudi capital by Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, which is part of the Lebanese government.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is insane; this charge has been proven absolutely wrong by its identification by Saudi and Yemeni military as a Burqan 2H, of Yemeni manufacturing, and Yemeni design.

This is not an Iranian designed or manufactured missile.

But we have a two week huge military exercise by Israeli and "coalition" forces,in one of the most dense, integrative natures ever conducted by the Israeli military; the purge of Saudi royalty and businessmen who didn't like where Prince Salman was going; and the resignation of the Prime Minister of Lebanon, which is going to leave that country in great geopolitical turmoil.

And I hope President Trump understands that even though Prince Salman and Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu have been "cheerleading" for regime change in Tehran, it will primarily be bought, if Trump is foolish enough to sign on to this, at the costs of American blood and American money.

Think about it, Mr. President, please, before you sign off on this; and please remember that Russian military and political personnel have long pledged to come to Iran's aid militarily, should it be attacked.

And on top of this, comes this very sad statement about how President Trump is characterizing this purge:

Trump Endorses Saudi Crackdown to "neutralize" Iran.

Visiting Tokyo, President Trump is making a big push to secure more weapons sales deals for top US arms-makers, something which has been a high priority for US presidents on foreign tours for years.

President Trump was very transparent about his interest in selling more arms to Japan, hyping the threat of North Korea and playing up the idea that the best way for Japan to defend itself would be to buy “lots of additional military equipment from the United States.”

Israel Begins “Largest-Ever Aerial Military Drill”, As Saudis Consider Missile Strike (Allegedly) by Iran as “Act Of War”

Air-forces from nine countries with about 50 planes are now starting to drill in the most southern region of the country utilizing Ovda Air Base in Israel.

Teams from India, the United States, Greece, Poland, France, Italy and Germany with be flying over 300 sorties simulating ‘real war’.

According to Israel Defense,

Throughout the first week of the two-week-long exercise, the international aircrews will acclimate themselves to the base and get to know each other. Throughout the second week, the participants will rehearse complex scenarios and coalition flights.

During some of the sorties, the participants will fly against the “Flying Dragon” Squadron, the IAF’s aggressor squadron, which will simulate enemy forces via “enemy” aircraft, SAM (Surface-to-air missile) batteries and MANPADS (Man-portable air-defense systems).

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, the situation in the Middle East is getting to be just about as serious as is a heart attack.

These huge exercises are due to last two weeks, during which I believe that the Israeli/US-led coalition, in concert with Saudi Arabia (which doesn't want to be named, for obvious geopolitical reasons), will be making a go/no go decision for a decap strike against Tehran.

Here is a map of the Middle East;

Map of the Middle East

Eliat, the Israeli resort at Israel's southernmost tip, is closely located to the Ovda Air Base in Israel. This airbase, from which these exercises will take place, borders Aquaba, Jordan.

With Lebanon in geopolitical meltdown, after the resignation of Prime Minister Harriri; Saudi Arabia claiming that Iran shot a missile into Riyahd; Syria mopping up the last of their jihadis; and Iraq still in geoppolitical shock from the continued occupation, the shortest way into Iran appears to be a skip through Lebanese, Syrian and Iraqi airspace.

ISIS WAS STATE-SPONSORED BY US ALLIES, SAYS FORMER GOVERNMENT INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

Contrary to conventional wisdom, the peer-reviewed paper published in the Routledge journal Studies in Conflict and Terrorism in July, confirms not only that several regional states deliberately empowered al-Qaeda and ISIS foreign fighters for their geopolitical ends, but that many of these states are ostensibly US allies in the ‘war on terror’: including Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Study author Professor Daniel Byman of Georgetown University’s Security Studies Programme was previously a Middle East analyst for the US intelligence community, and headed up the Center for Middle East Studies at the RAND Corporation?—?a major US government defence contractor.

‘NON-STATE’ TERROR IS OFTEN STATE-SPONSORED

Flying in the face of much conventional wisdom on the ‘non-state’ nature of international Islamist terrorism, the study finds that:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Again, for those who have been paying attention, these revelations come as no major surprise.

The US government will stop at nothing to destabilize those regimes it wants to destroy or regime change.

That hasn't worked out quite so well for the US government with Syria, so one has to wonder what the US is going to do there next, considering Russia's intense protection of the current regime.

Putin warns of bio-weapons against Russia

At a meeting of Russia’s Human Rights Council on October 30th, President Putin was informed of live broadcasts from polling stations (during the recent regional elections) being inundated with foreign viewers. Council member, Igor Borisov, hinted at a sinister motive behind those viewings. In turn, Putin replied that that is the least of their worries – given that biological material is being collected throughout the whole country, based on specific ethnic subgroups.

He did not elaborate on who is doing the collecting, and why this activity is allowed to proceed, given it's being monitored. The President’s words are not unwarranted of concern.

Back in July, a US government website issued a tender, seeking to acquire samples of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and synovial fluid from Russians. All samples “shall be collected from Russians, Ukrainian will not be accepted” the tender said.

Virus weapons: US Govt asking for White-Russian DNA samples

A very interesting tender appeared on the website of US Air Force procurement. The training aviation command of the American Air Force requires live tissue of Russian donors . With clarification - only from the Russians of the Caucasian (European/ White) race.

Ribonucleic acid is twelve specimens, synovial fluid is twenty-seven. Samples are required at the Lackland base in San Antonio ten days after payment, along with documents guaranteeing that the material is taken from healthy donors, without injuries to the musculoskeletal system, with a negative HIV test, hepatitis B, C and syphilis. Plus, one more, special requirement.

It turns out that all material should be collected in Russia from representatives of the European race. The government will not consider samples from Ukraine (!)

House Rules Committee Guts Challenge to Yemen War Legality

House Concurrent Resolution 81 is effectively dead, following a surprise bit of sleight of hand by the House Rules Committee. The resolution demanded an end to US involvement in the Saudi invasion of Yemen, on the grounds that such involvement was never authorized under the War Powers Act.

Under the War Powers Act, any Congressman is able to bring such a legal challenge, and is guaranteed a floor vote on the matter. The H.Con.Res. 81 challenge was offered in early October, and delayed until November 2.

November 1 rolled around, however, and House leadership quickly forced through a Rules Committee vote which changed the rules on H.Con.Res. 81, stripping it of its privileged status (which would have guaranteed a floor vote). Though the War Powers Act guarantees such a resolution privilege, the Rules Committee claimed Yemen doesn’t rise to the level of the War Powers Act applying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"...the Rules Committee claimed Yemen doesn’t rise to the level of the War Powers Act applying.", MY ASTROLABE!!

So, the House Rules Committee is, collectively, completely MORALLY comfortable with the US military colluding in Saudi war crimes in Yemen?!?

Because this is precisely what is going on in this country!!

FACT: Saudi bombing runs are killing and maiming civilians, children, women, and the medically fragile elderly.

Images: Yemeni children killed and maimed for life by Saudi bombing runs

FACT: Due to the US/Saudi blockade of Yemeni ports, food cannot get in, leading to massive deaths from complications of malnutrition, primarily of Yemen's children:
Images: Yemeni children dying from complications of malnutrition

FACT: To add insult to injury, the Yemeni people are now suffering one of the worst outbreaks of cholera (possibly weaponised) ever witnessed in the 21st century.

Images: Yemeni childrn dying of cholera

FACT: due to exposure to DU weapons the Saudi military have used in Yemen, there has been a massive uptick in severe deformities, massive cancers, and stillbirths in Yemeni children.

Images: Yemeni children born with severe birth deformities due to exposure to Depleted Uranium in the womb.

This is all being done in your names, and with your tax dollars, folks.

Constitutionally, only Congress can declare war; this Rules Committee decision is not only wretchedly morally wrong, but also demonstrates a pig-ignorant interpretation, and understanding, of the War Powers Act.

That the US government is enabling the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, in this genocide in Yemen, is an absolute affront to human decency, and as a Christian pacifist activist, I will keep bearing witness to these Saudi crimes in Yemen as long as I am breathing.

Cost of US Nuclear Arsenal Rehaul Continues to Surge, Now Estimated at $1.2 Trillion

For years, US officials have been talking up the importance of a massive rehaul of the American nuclear weapons arsenal, insisting it is necessary despite the substantial expense. Analysts have long warned the estimated costs were underrated.

Every time the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) looks into the matter, they come up with an even higher estimated cost than the last time. The latest report to Congress has put the overall cost at in excess of $1.2 trillion over 30 years.

The CBO was unusually frank about this cost, saying it is “unlikely to be affordable” without military cuts elsewhere. Since the US is fighting multiple wars constantly, cuts in military spending tend not to happen.

HOUSE DEMOCRATIC WHIP RESISTS EFFORT TO END U.S. INVOLVEMENT IN YEMEN WAR

THE BIPARTISAN PUSH to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen has gained political momentum but faces resistance from the No. 2 Democratic lawmaker in the House, Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md.

H.Con.Res.81, the resolution sponsored by Reps. Ro Khanna, D-Calif.; Walter Jones, R-N.C.; Mark Pocan, D-Wisc.; Tom Massie, R-Ky.; and 34 other lawmakers, utilizes a provision of the War Powers Act to swiftly terminate U.S. military assistance for the Saudi-led war effort.

Several activists working to build support for the measure have told The Intercept that Republican caucus leaders and Hoyer, the minority whip, are pressuring lawmakers to avoid sponsoring the legislation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; just how much is Democratic Minority Whip Hoyer invested in the US military industrial complex, which is making beacoup bucks on this carnage in Yemen?!?

Is he morally comfortable with the US government military and government colluding in Saudi war crimes in Yemen, where children are assassinated and maimed for life; starving and dying from malnutrition and now dying of (most probably weaponised) cholera?!?

The short answer has to be, hell yes!! Burnt, dead babies, he's for 'em!! (to paraphrase Bob Newhart)

But to be perfectly serious, this position on the part of Representative Hoyer cannot really be a surprise to anyone.

After all, the mandatory procedure required of all Congressional Representatives, before taking their Oath of Office, is a surgical excision ...of their conscience.

Senate Bill Aims to Stop Trump Nuking North Korea

A new bill making its way through the Senate, co-sponsored by seven Democrats and independent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I – VT), aims to prevent President Trump following through on his threat to “totally destroy” North Korea by explicitly forbidding a US attack.

The bill would forbid any preemptive nuclear strikes on North Korea, or spending any money on any military strike against North Korea, without prior Congressional authorization. It would not apply if North Korea attacks first.

Mattis: White House Could Order Nuclear Strike if North Korean Attack ‘Imminent

During his testimony before Congress, US Defense Secretary James Mattis said that the White House has “rehearsed” their response to a North Korean nuclear attack. He added that Washington would fire a nuclear weapon at North Korea for two reasons: a North Korean attack, or a “direct imminent... attack.”

Mattis told Congress that he, the president and other key players had rehearsed their response to a nuclear strike — and the threshold of provocation that would lead the US to fire their own nuclear device. That, according to Mattis, would be "a direct imminent or actual attack."

Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) asked Mattis what would happen if the US detected a nuclear launch. Matties replied that "the first step, of course, would be that our ballistic missile defense forces at sea and in Alaska, California — the various radars would be feeding in and they would do — they would do what they're designed to do as we make every effort to take [the missile] out."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a member of Congress, I would want a lot more detail on what constitutes, both for President Trump, and Sec Def Mattis, evidence of "...a direct imminent attack." What would the measure of proof have to be that such a thing is happening?!?

And when Mattis makes that statement '"the first step, of course, would be that our ballistic missile defense forces at sea and in Alaska, California — the various radars would be feeding in and they would do — they would do what they're designed to do as we make every effort to take it [the missile] out.", does not broadcast a real sence of certainty that our ballistic missile system actually works as advertised to the American people.

North Korea Prepares For World War 3 With Mass Evacuation And Blackout Drills Conducted Across The Country: Mac Slavo

The rogue nation of North Korea is bracing itself for World War 3. The country has now undergone mass evacuation and blackout drills designed to ready the public for a war.

Although the drills were not conducted in the capital city of Pyongyang, the North Korean government had many other cities practice evacuations and “blackout” drills. Blackout drills are designed to disguise the people from enemy aircraft in the event of a war by minimizing the lighting. With tensions sky-high between the United States and North Korea, the ultra-secretive country reportedly staged the training in towns and cities throughout the nation last week.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think that the better question is, what does the US government and military have planned against North Korea, via some kind of false flag, to be blamed against it?!?

Let's look at the timing here; President Trump is headed for a 12 day visit to Asia, beginning Saturday, 4 November, with a reasonable hunk of time as the guest of China's Xi Jinping. He returns to the US about 16 November, right before the Thanksgiving day holiday here in the US.

Although some talk will be devoted to North Korea, I think that the biggest topic of conversation will be China's entrance into the Petroyuan program, through which it will price oil in the yuan, potentially knocking off the edge the petrodollar has held for years against foreign currencies. IF President Trump is unable to convince Xi Jinping to at least delay this, we might, at the end of this calendar year, see a trade war morphing ultimately into a shooting war with China.

Meanwhile, the US has 3 carrier groups off the North Korean Peninsula, and this activity which has Kim Jung Un upset to the point where he is characterising their presence there as "criminal". There is no specific end date to their exercizes.

North Korea accuses US of criminal moves as carriers operate nearby"

Meanwhile, Chinese scientists have urged Korean nuclear experts, not to test at the site of their previous tests, because previous nuclear tests have made the ground unstable.

Chinese scientis warn their North Korean counterparts that their test site is unstable

Understanding this problem, we do not know if the North Koreans have dug out another launch site or not; if this has not happened, one would have to imagine that construction on such a site must be running 24/7, to enable North Korea to resume its missile testing.

I would suggest that once President Trump is confirmed as being back in US airspace, after his visits in China and Asia, the US might create some kind of missile launch to be blamed on North Korea, as the "justification" as an attack against it; false flags are a very common tool of US statescraft in the 20th and 21st century.

But the trick will be insuring that China does not enter the war on the side of North Korea, as they claim they will do, IF the US fires the first shot here. China warns Trump:
we will back North Korea of US Strikes First

None of the options here are great; but a major war would be a catastrophe here, and for everyone.

Mattis: US Will Never Accept Nuclear North Korea Says North Korea 'Reducing Its Security'

Visiting South Korea this weekend, Defense Secretary James Mattis said they he doesn’t believe the United States would ever, under any circumstances, accept a nuclear North Korea, saying that the reclusive state which is constantly under threat of US attack should disarm.

Mattis claimed that North Korea’s attempts to improve its retaliatory capabilities are “counter-productive” and that North Korea is “reducing its security” by trying to deter oft-threatened US attacks.

North Korea has been very clear on the matter, saying their goal is to reach a point where their nuclear arsenal is capable enough that a preemptive US attack would be unthinkable. They’ve also downplayed the chances of disarming, noting that disarmament programs in Iraq and Libya led relatively quickly to an American attack.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sec Def Mattis, a word, please; do you not understand that the optics of your "logic" give North Korea no choice but to continue in creating a nuclear deterrent so intense that war against it is unthinkable?!?

And no, sir, North Korea's attempt to improve its retaliatory capabilities are NOT counter productive, but the children of necessity, in Kim Jung Un's perspective.

What Pyongyang wants is a peace treaty, with ironclad guarantees about trade, unsanctioned, and uninhibited, with the quid pro quo being their stopping of their nuclear development program in return for that.

OF course, what the US government has just done with the Iranian P5+1 deal, in its decertification of the agreement, isn't going to make Kim believe anything the US government has to say for many years to come; but of course, you had to know that was coming, right?!?!?

REVEALED: Shock strategy Brussels will use to LURE member-states into EU army

A GERMAN MEP has outlined how the EU will push through its plans to build its own army - by encouraging member states to "save money" by handing over control of military affairs.

The European Union will persuade other member-states to join Jean-Claude Juncker's plan for a bloc-wide army by grounding it in "economic efficiency".

Jo Leinen, a German MEP, dropped the shock revelation yesterday, claiming the policy of national armies "cannot continue" for much longer.

It comes as Donald Tusk, the European Council President, plans to set up an EU army by the end of the year to fight back against “destabilisation around Europe”.

Jo Leinen calls for more efficiency of Brussels' spending

Webmaster's Commentary:

Could someone please explain to me how these members of the EU are defining "destabilization around Europe"?!?

Because to the intelligent, casual observer, Europe is suffering the self-inflicted wound of allowing unchecked immigration to flood European countries to the point where social services cannot cope.

These immigrants do not want to assimilate; they want to take the traditions of their own failed coutries, like sharia law, and impose them on Europe.

They have no job skills, and when they learn those skills, are given preferential job-seeking status above that granted to native born Europeans.

Rape, and genital mutilation, are common forms of treatment of women among these immigrants.

So I am at least more than a little perplexed as to precisely how the establishment of a European army is in any way, going to fix this, except, perhaps, for pressing these immigrants into such a military, so that Europe can conquer their countries of origin militarily, and then, economically.

Look at the countries mentioned in this article: Mali, Central African Republic, and Somalia, all just chock full of natural resources European companies would love to exploit, and over which citizens of these countries have the bad taste to be living; how economically rude!!

"This Is A Big Problem" - North Korea Nuclear Test Site Headed For A Devastating Collapse

A group of Chinese scientists have joined their North American peers in warning that North Korea’s Punggye-ri nuclear site could be on the verge of a dangerous collapse that could send a dangerous bloom of radiation floating over the border into Northern China.

As we’ve previously reported, China has stepped up its radiation monitoring on the border after detecting unsettling seismic activity surrounding the test site. Two weeks ago, a team of American scientists warned that the mountain above Pyungge-ri appeared to be suffering from “tired mountain syndrome” - a phenomenon commonly observed around Soviet Nuclear test sites.

And now in an effort to dissuade the North from carrying out another potentially destabilizing test, the South China Morning Post is reporting that a team of Chinese geologists warned their North Korean counterparts of a potentially catastrophic collapse of an underground nuclear test site on China’s doorstep during a briefing in Beijing last month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What is left unknown, however, is if North Korea has hollowed out any other mountain region in the country from which the nuclear tests could, conceivably, proceed.

At least, that is most likely going to be the "story" used if and when a false flag explosion from an alleged North Korean nuclear site happens, as the "justification" for a US attack against North Korea. And remember the following:

North Korea accuses the US of "criminal moves" as 3 US carriers hold exercises nearby

“Reign of the Assad Family Is Coming to an End” – US Secretary of State Tillerson

The U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, stated on Thursday that the reign of the Assad family is coming to an end, contrasting his previous comments in March declaring that the Syrian President’s removal was not a priority for the U.S. regime.

“The reign of the Assad family is coming to an end,” Tillerson stated after his meeting with the head of the UN Envoy of Syria, Stephan de Mistura, in Geneva.

Tillerson stated he is unsure of how to bring about Assad’s end, but remained confident this would happen.

The Secretary of State would then take a shot at the Syrian Army, claiming they are only successful because of Russian airstrikes.

“The only reason Syrian forces have been successful has been because of the air support they have received from Russia,” Tillerson concluded.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has only to observe Tillerson's body language in the picture here, to understand precisely about what he is thinking; look at the clenched fists, and the expression on his face.

Are we potentially looking at a US decap strike on Damascus to take Al-Assad out?!? And has Russian President Vlad Putin gotten the memo?!?

I think the real question we need to ask here is, what is Russia prepared to do, militarily, in Syria to prevent this from happening?!?

I am hoping we are not looking at a war between Russia and the US government over the fate of Syria; unfortunately, both countries appear slouching toward such a confrontation, and potentially very soon.

NATO General Threatens ‘Consequences’ for Turkey Buying Russian S-400

In looking to upgrade their air defense system, Turkey had a choice: buying the advanced Russian S-400 systems, or more expensive, US-made alternatives. Turkey chose to buy Russian, and NATO isn’t happy.

While NATO was initially just complaining the S-400 was incompatible with their own systems, top NATO General Petr Pavel told reporters this week that Turkey is likely to be punished by the alliance for not buying American.

“The principal of sovereignty obviously exists in acquisition of defense equipment, but the same way that nations are sovereign in making their decision, they are also sovereign in facing the consequences of that decision,” Pavel insisted.

Pavel dismissed reporter questions about the Turkish government’s recent anti-democracy moves, insisting nobody is perfect. Apparently the same leeway does not apply for the question of buying American weapons.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pavel's comments on this issue have yet again demonstrated that NATO is not about democracy, but about power and control, to the point of publicly attempting to shame, and potentially punish Turkey for not using the US's far more costly, and inferior, defensive weapons rather than chosing Russia's very capable, and less costly, S-400 series.

And of what actual "consequences" does Pavel speak?!? Turkey is a geographically critical component to NATO, and I would politely suggest that Pavel doesn't do something ham-fistedly, pig-headely stupid here, to the point where the Turkish government believes that its NATO membership is no longer of value, and leaves.

Constitutional Battle: Abe Wants Amendment Allowing Japan to Go to War Again

With a successful (if controversial) snap election on the books, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has turned his eyes to his longstanding goal of amending the Constitution of Japan to allow the nation to declare war on its enemies - but this is a task easier said than done.
On Monday, Abe vowed to see the constitution amended to remove Article 9, which reads "the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes." The article adds that Japan may not maintain "land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential."

The 1947 constitution was written at a time when Japan was utterly ravaged following World War II, not to mention under US occupation. The belligerent behavior of Imperial Japan caused the Americans to pressure the feeble post-war government into the strict restrictions on Japanese use of military force.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this Japanese Constitutional Amendment passes (and I wouldn't put it past Abe to have the pull to make it happen), watch for Japan to start flexing its military muscle as far as it thinks it can get away with it, against both North Korea and China.

DoD Watchdog: F-35s Grounded 22 Percent of the Time Due to Parts Shortage

A new report prepared by the US Congress’ watchdog agency, the Government Accountability Office, found that parts shortages led to “degrading readiness” in the F-35 fleet, leaving aircraft “unable to fly about 22 percent of the time during the first eight months of 2017.

"The Department of Defense is sustaining over 250 F-35 aircraft and plans to triple the fleet by the end of 2021," but the Pentagon "is facing sustainment challenges that are affecting warfighter readiness," the watchdog said Thursday.

The jets have faced "significantly longer repair times" — about twice as long as the program's goal — as a direct result of not having enough parts, GAO reports. While the F-35 program office initially set out to complete repairs processes in 60 to 90 days, the Pentagon has in fact taken about 172 days on average to fix issues on the aircraft, according to the report.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is completely unacceptable, and the executives of Lockheed-Martin need to be brought in to the Pentagon for some very high level, private meetings, about how Lockheed Martin is going to cure this problem, at their expence, and how soon they will commit to getting it cured.

Mattis Threatens North Korea With ‘Massive’ Response to Nuclear Strike

US Defense Secretary James Mattis warned Pyongyang on Friday that any use of nuclear weapons by North Korea would be met with an overwhelming response.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "The US does not accept a nuclear North Korea… Make no mistake, any attack on the US or our allies will be defeated. Any use of nuclear weapons by the North will be met with a massive military response, effective and overwhelming, " he said during a speech in Seoul.

Mattis said that by sticking to its nuclear and missile program the North was in effect "reducing its security," after Pyongyang justified its research of nuclear weapons by a threat from the United States.

The Pentagon chief stressed that dialogue remained Washington's preferred method of settling the dispute with Pyongyang but added the threat of a nuclear strike from the North was accelerating.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In looking at Mattis' rhetoric here, there are two words which keep screaming over and over like an ugly mantra in my head, and those words are "false flag!"

And why would the North Koreans do something like this now, in light of the following story?!?

Nuclear Leak ‘Inevitable’: Chinese Scientists Tell North Korea to Move Test Site The article, from sputnik goes on to say: "Chinese scientists have issued a firm warning to Pyongyang that if North Korea wants to continue testing nuclear weapons, it has to find a new location other than the Punggye-ri mountain range where the previous six tests occurred.

The mountain is at imminent risk of collapse, an event which could allow nuclear waste to bleed out into nearby China. "China cannot sit and wait until the site implodes," a Peking University researcher told the South China Morning Post Friday.

"Maybe the North Koreans themselves have realized that the site cannot take another blow. If they still want to do it, they have to do it somewhere else," the researcher said, noting that Chinese instruments "can detect nuclear fallout when it arrives, but it will be too late by then."

So if there is a nuclear test by North Korea, that test will have to wait until North Korean sceintists have found another site from which to do it.

I do not know how long that takes, at "construction ramming speed", with a 24/7 construction schedule, but this is something that cannot, logically, happen immediately.

US Soldiers in Niger Were Left Behind in Evacuation

Officially, the US military never leaves troops behind. Secretary of State James Mattis even said literally this last week, in denying that a soldier might’ve been left behind in the October 4 Niger ambush, in which four US special forces were killed.

As details continue to emerge on the incident, however, it appears increasingly certain that Mattis hadn’t told the truth, with officials now saying that when French helicopters evacuated the US forces, they had lost contact with four US troops, and only evacuated seven out of 11 in the unit.

Hours later, they managed to return to recover the bodies of the three soldiers initially reported killed. The fourth soldier wasn’t found for another two days. That the troops left without contact with the four makes it uncertain if some might’ve been alive at the time, and died abandoned on the field.

Michael Fallon: criticising Saudi Arabia 'not helpful' for UK arms sales

Michael Fallon urged MPs to stop criticising Saudi Arabia in the interests of securing a fighter jet deal, provoking sharp criticism from human rights and arms trade campaigners.

The defence secretary was giving evidence to the Commons defence committee, where he was pressed about why a deal to sell Typhoon fighter jets to Saudi Arabia had not yet been signed.

Fallon said he had been working extremely hard on the deal and had travelled to Jeddah in September to discuss it with his Saudi counterpart. Although Qatar had agreed two days earlier to buy 24 jets from the UK, Fallon had to settle for signing a largely meaningless joint defence agreement with the Saudis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Has anyone in the British Press had the "male attributes" to ask Michael Fallon how it feels to be colluding with Saudi Arabia in war crimes?!?

Because these sales of these fighters, are certainly a glaring, egregious example of this.

The Saudis are bombarding Yemen everyday with bombing runs. Innocent Yemeni civilians, infants, children, women, and the medically infirm elderly are being assassinated from the skies daily with impunity.

With US military assistance, the Saudi military has blockaded all Yemeni ports, meaning that food cannot get in, and children are dying en masse from complications of malnutrition.

And now, Yemen has been struck by an horrific epidemic of cholera, possibly weaponised, which has been one of the worst documented epidemics in recent history.

Yes, the financial windfall for the British defense industry has been massive; but at what cost to the soul of Great Britain, that country which gave the world the Magna Carta?!?

So, Michael Fallon, I will ask, if no one else will, how does it feel to be in cullusion with Saudi Arabia in war crimes in Yemen, and financially
hitched at the hip with the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman?!?

US official: 3 Navy carriers plan exercise in Asia Pacific

A rare military exercise involving three of the U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier strike groups is being planned for next month in the Asia Pacific, a U.S. official said Thursday. The likely exercise would happen around the same time that President Donald Trump is traveling to the region, including visits to South Korea and China.

During a Pentagon briefing Lt. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, director of the Joint Staff, raised the prospect of the three carriers operating together at some point, but he provided no details. A U.S. official confirmed the plans for an exercise, but wasn't able to discuss the matter publicly so spoke on condition of anonymity.

Three Navy aircraft carriers and the ships that accompany them are currently thousands of miles apart in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific. But they are moving through the region and could be closer together in weeks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My bet is that while President Trump is in Beijing for meetings with Xi Jinping, Kim Jung Un is going to "cool his jets", not test any missiles, and do absolutely nothing in response to the provocative military exercises surrounding the Korean peninsula.

Unfortunately, however, if there is no such a response to the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled State of Amerika's move, such a response may well be accomplished for him, by way of a false flag; false flags are a routine tool of statescraft by this country, and the timing of the coming together of these carrier groups needs to have a substantive reason for doing it. Keeping operational preparedness at peak level takes a lot of time, discipline, and money.

TRUMP’S NEW PRESIDENTIAL MEMO WILL NORMALIZE DRONES IN AMERICAN LIFE

President Trump’s recent decisions on drone aircraft foreshadows the increase of the technology in civilian life and military strategy.

On Wednesday President Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum creating a new trial program for the commercial use of unmanned aerial aircraft, or drones. The memo, titled “Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Pilot Program,” allows certain communities to be exempt from current safety rules as they test drone operations. The Associated Press reports:

States, communities and tribes selected to participate would devise their own trial programs in partnership with government and industry drone users. The administration anticipates approving at least five applications, but there is no limit on the number of communities that can join.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Think that drone strikes will only happen against "the bad guys" in other countries?!? You'd better think again. Police departments around the country have already started stocking up on these weapons for their arsenals.

Connecticut set to gbecome the first state to allow deadly police drones.

Weaponized Drones now legal inside the US; lawmaker says crimefighting will become a video game.

Cops may quell the next Baltimore-like uprising with tear gas drones

Police Taser drones authorised in US state

The Coming Drone Attack on America

Are weaponised drones on their way in the US?!?

The problems, both moral and legal, with the use of these weaponised drones are complex.

First, how much collateral damage will they create among innocent civilians?!? If incidents like those in Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Somalia, and Libya are any indication, the amount of collateral damage in the use of these weaponized drones may prove huge.

Secondly, it moves the drone operator from a position of helping cops on the ground apprehend a suspicious baddie to that of judge, jury, and executioner, something which is the polar opposite of American jurisprudence to date.

I am rather certain that laws will be put into place, at both the Federal and State level, to amend and allow such actions to happen, but folks... we are collectively goose-stepping right down the path to a thoroughly dystopian imoposition of martial law in the current, and coming, use of weaponized drones against American citizens, and need to fight like hell to prevent their further use by law enforcement in this country.

As a metaphor borrowed from the film series "The Matrix", think of the Independent media as the people with "the red pill", which offers you the intellectual and emotional salvation of being able to see beyond the lies of the State and its presstitute media, to the realities which exist in this world, and why they exist.

Russia test fires huge 'Satan Two' ballistic missile that can carry 12 nuclear warheads and wipe out Britain or Texas in ONE devastating strike amid huge military drills

Russia carried out a successful test of its Satan 2 nuclear missile on Thursday night, the country's defense ministry said.

Three submarines capable of carrying nuclear warheads also carried out successful ballistic missile tests, while three bombers hit ground targets with cruise missiles.

China and Asean to go ahead with first joint naval exercise in sign of greater engagement

China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations plan to deepen their military relations and will go ahead with a joint maritime exercise proposed by Beijing, according to a statement from Singapore’s defence ministry, in a sign of greater engagement between the 10-member bloc and the region’s leading economic power.

China’s defence minister, Chang Wanquan, and his Singaporean counterpart, Ng Eng Hen, met on the sidelines of an Asean security meeting in the Philippines, and the two discussed “further practical initiatives to advance Asean-China relations” and plans to conduct an inaugural Asean-China maritime exercise, the statement said.

Singapore is the Asean-China dialogue relations coordinator from 2015 to 2018.

“Singapore supports it,” Ng told reporters when asked about China’s offer to hold maritime exercises. “We will push it … for the very reason that all of Asean and China want that. If you exercise, you at least build understanding and trust.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

This strengthening of relations between China an the ASEAN nations, both economically, and militarily, signals another blow, both economically, and militarily, against United States' hegemony.

US lawmakers seek vote to abandon Saudi-led war in Yemen

A bipartisan quartet of House lawmakers is wrangling with the chamber’s leadership for a floor vote to withdraw U.S. military support for Saudi involvement in Yemen’s civil war.

California Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna, who is pressing for the vote, said Tuesday that he is in negotiations with Democratic and Republican leadership about whether the resolution is privileged under the War Powers Act and would therefore get an automatic, fast-tracked floor vote.

Such a vote, Khanna said, is likely to unite progressive Democrats and non-interventionist Republicans — though the outcome is unclear. “You may get many Democrats and Freedom Caucus members,” Khanna said, referring to the conservative wing of the House GOP caucus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I hope that the House does overturn the AUMF; unfortunately, such a vote will most likely be vetoed by President Trump, because he believes (without a shred of evidence, other than that conjured up by Saudi Arabia and Israel) that Iran is gaining a strong foothold in Yemen.

My bet is that this slaughter in Yemen will continue unabated, to the point of nearly assassinating every last Yemeni child, woman, and medically fragile elderly person, if they haven't already dropped dead from malnutrition and cholera.

Of course, to Saudi Arabia's Prince Salmon, AKA the Butcher of Yemen, the ends, done through the commission of US government-enabled war crimes against the Yemeni people, justifies the means.

Checkpoint: The Air Force hasn’t used nuclear ‘alert pads’ since the Cold War. Now they’re being upgraded.

The U.S. military is building new flightline facilities that will enable the Air Force to position pilots and aircrews directly alongside its nuclear-capable B-52 bombers, but officials deny the move is part of any plan to put the warplanes on indefinite alert in response to tensions with North Korea.

The construction at Louisiana’s Barksdale Air Force Base includes building renovations near long-vacant “alert pads,” where during the Cold War aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons once sat ready on a continual basis. So-called strip alerts were discontinued in 1991 after the Soviet Union’s collapse.

In an interview published Sunday by Defense One, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein called the construction a step toward ensuring the military is prepared for all possibilities. The service is “not planning for any specific event, but more for the reality of the global situation we find ourselves in and how we ensure we’re prepared going forward,” he said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't know about you, but reading this story makes the hair on the back of my head stand up straight, and pay attention...something my hair rarely does!!

What is most curious about the article, is that there is no completion date given for this construction, so one has to wonder: how imminent is the use of these facilities, post construction?!?

Has it just begun, or has it been underway for some time, and nearly ready to be utilized?!? And I have checked the net to see if there is any indication of an end date to this construction, and can find none.

Air Force: Pilots recalled under Trump order will serve as instructors, staff

The Air Force expects fewer than 200 retired pilots will return to active duty and serve as instructor pilots and in rated staff positions under an executive order issued by President Trump.

The Pentagon originally said after the order was signed Friday that as many as 1,000 retired pilots could be brought back for up to three years. But in a gaggle with reporters Monday at the Pentagon, Brig. Gen. Mike Koscheski, the head of a task force dedicated to fixing the Air Force’s pilot shortfall, said it likely won’t be that many.

Koscheski also said there are no plans now to have those recalled pilots fly other aircraft, such as fighters, bombers, tankers or mobility aircraft, though he could not rule out that changing at some point if the pilot shortfall continues and worsens.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder at that last bit; what if pilots recalled do not wish to instruct or fly again; will they be involuntarily recalled?!?

Brig. Gen. Mike Koscheski, one cannot have this program both ways; and why is the crisis hitting now?!? Could it not have been forseen, and corrected for earlier, before we were at risk of a potential major war in Asia (North Korea) and another war in the Middle East (Iran)?!?

Gearing up for nuclear war is not a way to prevent nuclear war

During the Cold War, the United States kept nuclear-armed bombers on 24-hour ready alert in case our conflict with the Soviet Union ever turned hot. Thankfully, that readiness was never put to use, and after the Cold War ended in 1991, the bombers were no longer kept on standby, ready to strike.

Until, perhaps, now. As Defense One reported Sunday evening, the Air Force is preparing to revive that alert status in anticipation of an order to do so from President Trump in connection to North Korea.

RELATED: Air Force prepares for possible order to put nuclear-armed bombers back on alert

Webmaster's Commentary:

A US-government generated war against North Korea would immediately put China in the position of having to defend it, as its client state.

Just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing that the US government could possibly do, unfortunately, is utterly no guarantee that the US government won't do it.

Right now, North Korea's Kim Jung Un is keeping to himself rather quietly, in terms of missile testing, so is giving the US government and military utterly no reason to fly off the handle at it. And in a statement by the North Korean government, about one week ago, the following has been announced:

A North Korean official reaffirmed Pyongyang's commitment to developing a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching "all the way to the East coast of the mainland US," on Monday, telling CNN that the rogue nation is currently not interested in diplomacy with the US until it achieves that goal. North Korea is not ruling out diplomacy, but "before we can engage in diplomacy with the Trump administration, we want to send a clear message that the DPRK has a reliable defensive and offensive capability to counter any aggression from the United States," the official said.

In spite of being called "Reckless" and "Crazy" by US and other Western media, Kim Jung Un appears to be to be quite sane and pragmatic. The development of these nuclear weapons are to act as a deterrent only to any Western attempt at regime change in North Korea. Kim understands that should he first-strike any American asset, or geopolitical friend in the region, that attack would leave North Korea a puddle of molten glass, courtesy of a US-led coalition, consisting of South Korea and Japan.

My concern here is that, failing to give the US government the "justification" which it craves in labeling North Korea as the "baddie" to be attacked mercilessly, that the US will simply create one for North Korea, by way of a false flag incident; false flags have long been a tool of US statescraft.

What the Occupied, Unhinged, Surveilled States of America need, and right the heck now, is a legitimate "Department of Peace", tasked with identifying, and implementing, peaceful means of meeting geopolitical objectives, which do not involve regime changes, or wars.

Of course, that... would be logical.

Air Force F-35s coming to Japan in November

The Air Force’s F-35 is making its operational debut in the Asia-Pacific region, with 12 A-models set to arrive at Kadena Air Base, Japan, early this November for a six-month deployment.

More than 300 airmen from the 34th Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah — including pilots, maintainers and other personnel — will deploy to Kadena to support the aircraft, Pacific Air Forces announced.

“The F-35A gives the joint warfighter unprecedented global precision attack capability against current and emerging threats while complementing our air superiority fleet,” said Gen. Terrence O’Shaughnessy, Pacific Air Forces commander. “The airframe is ideally suited to meet our command’s obligations, and we look forward to integrating it into our training and operations.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

My question is, will the deployment be before - or after - President Trump's upcoming visit to Beijing next month?!?

Although he may be described by Western outlets as "crazy", his, and his country's drive for a nuclear weapon is completely rational, when viewed purely as a deterrent, so that the US military cannot affect regime change in North Korea.

Kim Jung Un has the horse sense, I believe, to not attempt a first strike on any US targets, because he understands that should he do so, his country will be turned into a sea of molten glass by a US-led Coalition including South Korea, and Japan. BOMBSHELL NSA MEMO: SAUDI ARABIA ORDERED ATTACK ON DAMASCUS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WITH US KNOWLEDGE

The Intercept has just released a new top-secret NSA document unearthed from leaked intelligence files provided by Edward Snowden which reveals in stunning clarity that the armed opposition in Syria was under the direct command of foreign governments from the early years of the war which has now claimed half a million lives.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please remember; this act happened under President Obama's watch.

So we have more collusion with Saudia Arabia in war crimes against the Syrian government and Syrian people; why does this not surprise me, looking at the vast scope of war crimes and genocide being perpetrated by Saudi Arabia and the US military against Yemen today?!?!?

In fact, citing "increased Iranian influence in Yemen" (of course, with utterly no tangible proof), I am totally amazed that the Saudi military, enabled by the US military, have not collectively carpet bombed the country until not one single Yemeni citizen is left standing.

Of course, the optics of such a move would be horrendous; but figuring that their collective populations must have ADHD in order to put up with the corruptions in both governments, such an operation may well be in the considertion phase as I type this.

George W. Bush Receives a Character Award at West Point: Duty, Honor, Atrocity

In George W. Bush’s home state of Texas, if you are an ordinary citizen found guilty of capital murder, the mandatory sentence is either life in prison or the death penalty. If, however, you are a former president of the United States responsible for initiating two illegal wars of aggression, which killed 7,000 U.S. servicemen and at least 210,000 civilians, displaced more than 10 million people from their homes, condoned torture, initiated a global drone assassination campaign, and imprisoned people for years without substantive evidence or trial in Guantanamo Bay, the punishment evidently is to be given the Thayer Award at West Point.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lord, please, NO! This is absoflippinglutely unbelievable, and a terrible dishonor to the award, and what it stands for, to have been awarded to the American war criminal, President Bush.

Russia to test its Satan 2 ballistic missile that could 'beat any defences' and obliterate 'an area the size of France'

Russia is preparing to carry out test launches of its 100-tonne 'Satan 2' ballistic missile, also known as RS-28 Sarmat.

The next generation intercontinental ballistic missile can 'beat any defences' and wipe out entire countries, according to Russia's military.

The weapon has been in the pipeline since 2009 and is now ready after several setbacks, with initial trials to be carried out before the end of the year, sources claim.

Launches will be held at the Plesetsk testing ground in west Russia and, if successful, the weapon could by in use by 2019 - 2020.

It could deliver warheads of 40 megatons - 2,000 times as powerful as the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Trump on N Korea: 'You Would Be Shocked to See How Prepared We Are'

US President Donald Trump has commented on several issues, including the North Korean crisis, the NAFTA agreement and the influence of Chinese President Xi Jinping, during an interview with Fox News.

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the United States was prepared for any course of events with regard to the development of the North Korean crisis.

"We're prepared for anything. We are so prepared like you wouldn't believe. You would be shocked to see how totally prepared we are, if we need to be," Trump said in an interview with Fox News Channel.

Presumably speaking about a military solution to the North Korean crisis, Trump said it would be better to avoid a military conflict.

The president also praised China’s actions regarding North Korea>>>

The Pentagon Wants Drone 'Swarms' to Support Infantry

In the near future, US Army and Marine Corps infantry squads could march into battle behind swarms of hundreds of flying and crawling drones.

At least, that's the plan. On October 12, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency—the Pentagon's fringe-science wing—asked robot-developers to submit ideas for tactics and technologies that could allow small infantry units to deploy swarms of 250 or more robots.

The swarms must function "in built-up areas up to eight city blocks in size over mission durations of up to six hours," according to Dr. Timothy Chung, the program manager.

Chung's Offensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics initiative—a.k.a, OFFSET—overlaps conceptually with a separate military effort to deploy large formations of small drones from fighter jets. OFFSET also dovetails with DARPA's Squad-X program, which is trying to outfit infantry squads with better communications, sensors, and weapons.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why do I get the sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach that these weapons will be deployed domestically, before they are deployed internationally?!?

The American Military has plans for this country's future, if protests erumpt anywhere, and they are not pretty.

Pentagon plans for mass civil breakdown

Army Manual Outlines Plan to Kill Rioters

US military planning to put down domestic disturbances

The Police State is Here, If You Cannot See it, You are Asleep

US Has been preparing to turn
America into a military dictatorship

Pentagon Admits it has been planning for massive civil unrest

And please remember; the domestic terrorist organisation, ANTIFA, has promised brutal and violent riots around the country to (in their extreme lunatic fantasy) remove President Trump and Vice President Pence from office.

If you live in a densely populated urban area, you might want to think about getting out of town on the 4th of November, their dates for their riots, for the weekend. IF you do not, shelter in place, with lots of food, water, meds for yourselves, and your pets, and just not go out, because the risk may be too great to going out and get surrounded by this madness.
