Thousands of people on universal credit will not receive a payment at Christmas

Thousands of low-paid people on universal credit will receive reduced payments or none at all over Christmas, in a fresh controversy about the new benefit.

The claimants will be hit because they are paid weekly and their income “will likely go over the universal credit limit”, officials say.

They will be able to reapply in January – but, it is feared, will be left without a payment from the Government over the Christmas and New Year period.

The same problem will re-occur in other months which, like December, have five paydays, because universal credit is calculated on a monthly basis.

Theresa May: What is wrong with Britain

What is wrong with Britain can be summed up in two words: Theresa May. Her pig-headed example of sheer insolence, stupidity and vapid, ditzy ignorance as she called Russia her chief threat bore the hallmarks of a snide, nasty, ill-mannered guttersnipe more befitting the hollow, pithy-headed gossip of a hairdressing salon.

Priti Patel and Jewish Conspiracies

The British Jewish media is upset. Priti Patel, a cabinet minister responsible for international development, had no fewer than 14 meetings with Israeli politicians and political leaders. It seems that Patel didn’t clear any or most of these meetings with the Foreign Office. So Patel had to go and but now the British Jewish media is pressing the panic button.

The ultra Zionist Jewish Chronicle’s (JC) headline warns that the Patel Affair “will set us [the Jews] back 20 years.” The JC predicts that it will have “a devastating impact on British Jewry.” It may even “bolster antisemitic conspiracy theories and damage relationships with British politicians for a generation.”

This is the crux of the matter -- Jews hate ‘Jewish conspiracy theories.’ Why? Because Jews do not conspire or operate in clandestine manner. They do it all in the open.

UK Priti Patel Scandal is the Tip of the Israel Lobby Iceberg

The Priti Patel affair is an insight into the power of the Israel lobby to influence the British political system.

But it is only a symptom of the rot. The exaggerated power of corporate and states lobbyists to influence government policy is a concern far bigger than one crooked minister.

Patel, who was the minister in charge of international aid, was forced to resign after it came to light that she had held 12 meetings with Israeli political and business leaders during what she later claimed was a “family holiday”.

UK will back EU ban on pesticides that have killed millions of bees, says Environment Secretary Michael Gove

The pesticides - known as neo-nicotinoids or 'neo-nics' - are meant to kill insects that eat crops.

They are used in sprays and coatings on seeds – killing sap-sucking weevils and aphids.

But Mr Gove said yesterday the risk to bees and other insects such as butterflies was 'greater than previously understood'.

The European Commission proposed a ban on three neonicotinoids on flowering crops such as oil seed rape in 2013 because of the threat to bee health.

The UK had opposed the ban, but other member states disagreed and the ban was implemented across the EU.

Now Mr Gove said he believed the evidence base had 'grown' and the UK will back a new proposal by the EC to extend the ban to non-flowering crops such as wheat and sugar beet as well.

Priti Patel Resigns Amid Revelations Of Conspiring With Israel To Give U.K. Tax Money To Terrorists, Israeli Military

By Brandon Turbeville

As Israel secretly coordinates with Saudi Arabia to launch a war against Iran and Hezbollah and threatens to invade Syria militarily, the Israeli tentacles are becoming more and more visible on the European and North American continents as well. While it has long been known that Israel has maintained a policy of constant surveillance and manipulation in the halls of U.S. and U.K. governments and that Israel itself acts as a cancerous tumor in the Middle East directed by corporate-financier-Deep State interests, the level to which it is involved in the lives of everyday citizens in Europe and America is becoming more and more apparent. From anti-BDM laws and proven espionage to an Israeli Prime Minister scolding the American Congress under the nose of the U.S. President, Israel has repeatedly demonstrated that it does not have the best interest of its “allies” at heart...

BRITISH ARMS SALES TO SAUDI ARABIA JUMP 500% AS COALITION SEALS OFF YEMEN BORDERS

The sale of UK-made bombs and missiles to Saudi Arabia has leapt by almost 500 percent, according to new data from Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT). British munitions have been used in the Saudi-led coalition war in Yemen, contributing to the humanitarian catastrophe there.

Data collated by CAAT shows the UK government had made £4.7 billion from exporting arms and other controlled goods to Saudi since the start of the Yemen war in March 2015, compared to £6 billion worth in the period from January 2008 to April 2015 – a 457 percent increase.

The news comes as Saudi-led coalition forces made the decision on Monday to close temporarily all entry points to Yemen, effectively sealing the country off from the rest of the world.

The UK Government had been widely criticized for its continued assistance in the war on Yemen while simultaneously spending millions on humanitarian aid. In 2017, it sent £155 million to the war-torn country.

As such, the Balfour ‘declaration’ is actually a statement with somewhat limited significance. What it does is “declare[s] sympathy with Zionist aspirations.”

Trump is neither monster nor savior, and that is surely evident on this first anniversary of the Trump victory

As the one year anniversary of Trump’s triumph approaches, the pathetic remnants of American liberalism still haven’t recognized its meaning, or reconciled themselves to their loss of State power. How Queen Elizabeth Invested in Firm That Targeted Mentally Ill
