First whiff of scandal hits Macron government

Richard Ferrand, general secretary of Macron's La République En Marche! party and minister for territorial cohesion, found himself the subject of a story published in satirical French paper Le Canard Enchaîné on Wednesday.

The newspaper -- the same one responsible for exposing the scandal that possibly ruined François Fillion's shot at the presidency -- reported that that Ferrand used his position as director of a health insurance company, Mutuelles de Bretagne, to benefit his family.

Naturally the French press have picked up the story and run with it, while pointing out that so far there is no proof that anything illegal was done.

France’s Macron seeks to extend state of emergency to November

President Emmanuel Macron will ask France’s parliament to extend a state of emergency, in place since the 2015 attacks by Islamic State (IS) group militants, following this Monday’s suicide bombing in Manchester.

France’s new president said in a statement that he will ask lawmakers to prolong the measure from July 15, its current expiration date, until November 1. It would be the sixth extension of the state of emergency, which gives police exceptional powers.

He made the decision after a security meeting Wednesday in which top officials "studied the implications of this new terrorist attack on measures of protection to ensure the security of our compatriots".

The statement from the Elysée presidential palace once again noted “the bonds that unite France and the United Kingdom in the fight against terrorism”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

New French President ‘Will Not Recognise Palestine’

Newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron has reiterated that he will not recognise Palestine as a state as it would hinder good relations between Israel and France.

Prior to his election win, Macron said he backs a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and that recognising Palestine would cause instability and he would not risk France’s relationship with Israel to serve the Palestinian agenda. At a political rally Macron said:

Unilateral recognition of Palestine, right now, will undermine stability,

That’s right. France’s new liberal president would rather maintain good relations with Israel than recognize “Palestine.”

Hillary Clinton Ties Herself To Macron’s Victory Over Le Pen, Attacks The Media

Hillary Clinton attempted to tie herself to French President-elect Emmanuel Macron’s runoff victory over far-right candidate Marine Le Pen on Sunday.

Clinton posted a tweet calling Macron’s election a victory for “the world” and a “defeat” to the hackers who released Macron’s emails to the public shortly before the election, but then turned the focus towards herself, claiming “the media says I can’t talk about that.” Clinton is known to have staffers carefully craft and edit her tweets before posting.

The tweet is the latest step in Clinton’s return to politics amid public speculation that she will run for president a third time in 2020.

While speaking at a televised women’s event last week, Clinton declared herself a member of the anti-Trump “resistance” and blamed FBI Director Jim Comey and Russian interference for her loss to Donald Trump.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And there you have it; Just as she is pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for what happened at Benghazi, she is also pathologically incapable of understanding why she lost last year's election.

And she lost it because she is perceived (and rightly so) as thoroughly corrupt; carrying more baggage than does Kim Kardashian on a photo shoot; absolutely not having the temperament for the job; painfully incapable of connecting with the Democratic Party's base; and imbued with a snotty sense of inevitability of her ultimate political victory.

She may have been the American Deep State's "wet dream", in terms of her martial proclivities; but unfortunately, President Trump is proving himself thoroughly pliable to its agenda.

The wars continue, and increase; and what is left of the middle class is continuing to get snuffed out of existence, economically; and I hate to admit this, but I am seeing a very dystopian vision of the future of this country at this moment.

French 'Proof' That Assad Used Sarin in Khan Sheikhoun Turns out to Be Complete BS

For over a week now France has claimed it has irrefutable evidence that Syrian military used gas against civilians earlier this month and would present it shortly.

It has now done so. It says it has determined that sarin used in the 2017 Khan Sheikhoun attack came from the same stock used in an earlier 2013 attack.

This is it. This is the extent of its super-duper evidence.

Because Paris "knows" the Syrian army used sarin in 2013, which Syria denies and was never proven, France now "knows" Syria also used sarin in 2017.

Anywhere else that would be called circular logic.
If anything, if samples from Khan Sheikhoun match sarin used in 2013 that makes it all the more likely that it came from rebel stock. The same stock they ultimately used to stage the East Ghouta false flag.
