Duterte Slams Trudeau: "I Only Answer To The Filipino. I Will Not Answer To Any Other Bulls**t"

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got his ass handed to him by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday at the end of an international summit in the Philippines.

Trudeau, whose popularity is imploding in his own country, chastised Duterte, who enjoys an 80% approval rating in his own country, for carrying out "extra-judicial killings" in his attempt to rid his country of it's crippling drug scourge.

Duterte was having none of it.

Teamsters Canada Sells Out Swissport Ground Crew Strike At Toronto’s Pearson Airport

After eleven weeks on the picket lines, 700 baggage handlers and other ground crew at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport ended their strike against the airline services company Swissport last month. The workers, who are represented by the Teamsters Canada union, ratified the proposed contract by only 63 percent, pointing to widespread dissatisfaction with the agreement the union reached with the transnational company.

McCain As Metaphor – Justin Raimondo

We’re effectively bankrupt thanks to out-of-control military spending and McCain’s favored wars of choice.

The Senator from Arizona represents something relatively new on the American scene: the emerging class of colonial administrators, Pentagon contractors, and high-ranking military personnel, and their families, many of them stationed overseas. These people have a material interest in the expansion of our role as global cop, they number in the tens of thousands, and they are strategically placed in the social order, with enough social power to constitute an influential lobby.

Metis Civilization Or Canada Syndrome?

There seems to be little common ground between Canadian natives and mainstream Canadian society. Canada’s uniqueness in world culture is thanks to its natives, who are regularly trotted out in ceremonies related to international events such as the Olympics, and now featured in the composition of the new Canadian ten dollar bill. But they remain at the bottom of the mainstream pecking order economically.

"Explosive" Leaked Secret Israeli Cable Confirms Israeli-Saudi Coordination To Provoke War

***
The explosive classified Israeli cable reveals the following:

On Sunday, just after Lebanese PM Hariri's shocking resignation, Israel sent a cable to all of its embassies with the request that its diplomats do everything possible to ramp up diplomatic pressure against Hezbollah and Iran.
The cable urged support for Saudi Arabia's war against Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen.
The cable stressed that Iran was engaged in "regional subversion".
Israeli diplomats were urged to appeal to the "highest officials" within their host countries to attempt to expel Hezbollah from Lebanese government and politics.

Trump: Year One – Justin Raimondo

Trump is neither monster nor savior, and that is surely evident on this first anniversary of the Trump victory

As the one year anniversary of Trump’s triumph approaches, the pathetic remnants of American liberalism still haven’t recognized its meaning, or reconciled themselves to their loss of State power. They dream of impeachment, or even an outright coup: their contempt for the Great American Middle – “the deplorables!” – defines their politics, which, by now, are almost entirely negative: anti-Trump, anti-Russia, anti-bourgeois.

Nov 08 02:31

Trump's Best New Policy in the Mideast Would Be No New Policy

President Trump’s stance on conflict in the Middle East is a mixture of bellicose threats and demonisation of opponents combined with rather more cautious and carefully calculated action or inaction on the ground. Leaders in Baghdad, Damascus, Riyadh and Tehran face the same problem as those in Tokyo and London, uncertain where the rhetoric ends and the reality begins and unsure if Trump himself distinguishes much between the two.

The debate about Trump in the Middle East does differ from that in the rest of the world in one important respect: the need for an answer here is more urgent because of the greater likelihood of a crisis, which Trump might provoke or exacerbate.

When he was first elected, the urgency seemed very great but there has been no major new crisis that put him to the test. For all his denunciations of President Obama for his supposedly feeble defence of American interests, US strategy in Iraq and Syria has remained very much the same.>>>

Trump Asks Congress For Another $5.9 Billion For Military, Citing North Korea

In the course of his tour of the Pacific, President Trump is talking up more US deployments in the region, and is asking Congress to tack another $5.9 billion in spending to the already record military budget for 2018.

This money is going to include $4 billion for even more missile defense systems on the Korean Peninsula. These appear to be additional THAAD anti-missile systems above and beyond the ones already announced.

Another $700 million of the request is for repairs to a pair of ships, the USS John S. McCain and the USS Fitzgerald, which is the past year both crashed

Controversial Jean-Talon Starbucks Shuts Down

The Jean-Talon Market Starbucks store that thousands of people petitioned against has closed its doors.

Back in 2015, plans for a Starbucks on the corner of Casgrain and Jean-Talon aggravated Little Italy residents. A petition was launched, garnering over 9,000 signatures against the Seattle coffee giant’s planned location, calling it “a threat to the Little Italy landscape”.

Citizens behind the petition argued that the arrival of such a chain ran contrary to the mission of the large market, operated by Montreal’s public market authority (MPM).

Caught On Video: This Is All That's Left Of Sears Canada

On October 11, we reported that the now defunct Sears Canada announced plans to liquidate its remaining 150 stores instead of restructuring, the latest admission of brick and mortar defeat in the war with Amazon, with the result some 12,000 job losses in the coming weeks. The Canadian version of Sears is the latest victim of department-store decline that’s swept North America as shoppers gravitate online. While the retailer has dabbled in pop-up stores and e-commerce, its distribution centers aren’t as automated as Amazon.com Inc. or even Canadian peer Hudson’s Bay Co., which last year opened its own robotic facility to accelerate online orders.

President of the National Olympic Committee of Canada (COC) Tricia Smith urged the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to immediately impose sanctions against Russia, to temporarily suspend Russian athletes from international competitions, regardless of the outcome of two ongoing investigations of IOC commissions. According to Smith, who is a member of the IOC and the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) in Lausanne, such a decision would help ensure the "integrity protection" of the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. The COC recommends the introduction of immediate and significant sanctions against the Russian Olympic Committee, sports officials, and athletes. The statement was made at a meeting of the Canadian National Olympic Committee in Vancouver after Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the US of putting pressure on the IOC to prevent Russia from entering the 2018 Olympics.

Canada approves anti-Russian law sponsored by Russophobes

Canada has effected its own "Magnitsky Act," which stipulates sanctions against foreign government employees suspected of corruption and human rights violations. On October 19, the document was effected upon receiving a formal sanction from Queen Elizabeth II. Prior to that, the law was passed by the House of Commons, and on Tuesday - by the Senate. Russian Embassy to Canada said that the law, known as S-226, was an irrational law sponsored by a fugitive tax evader and people who hate Russia. Representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry earlier expressed disappointment over Canada's move to adopt an analog to the Magnitsky Act. Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, said that the bill would disrupt relations between Moscow and Ottawa. She also said that the document was aimed at imposing sanctions against Russian citizens.

The hopelessly corrupt structure of the Eurozone & the Eurogroup

Follow the money. The Eurogroup rules the Eurozone and its 19 member states. The first rule of Eurogroup is: ‘You don’t talk about Eurogroup!’

Part of the problem of criticizing the “pan-European project” is that you have multiple bodies which overlap. And you also have some nations which are part of one, but not another. Or which pay into one body, but abstain from another.

A clear analysis is needed of the most important part of the pan-European project: the Eurozone. The Eurozone is the most important because it controls the money in the world’s largest macro-economy.

No To Trudeau: Why Trump (And Boeing) Can't Compromise On Bombardier's Predatory Pricing Of Planes

It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what will be the top issue on Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau's mind when he visits Washington this week. It will be the U.S. Commerce Department's decision to impose hefty duties on imports of Bombardier's C Series jetliners -- duties that would likely exclude the planes from their most important market.

Montreal-based Bombardier is challenging what it calls the Boeing-Airbus "duopoly" in single-aisle jetliners with its C Series of twinjets, and last year secured an order from U.S. carrier Delta Airlines for 75 of them. The problem is that Bombardier leveraged billions of dollars in Canadian taxpayer subsidies to sell the planes for about $20 million each, a fraction of their list price and well below the $33 million they cost to build>>>

REVEALED: U.S. Tested Carcinogenic Chemicals On Unknowing Canadian Civilians During The Cold War

By Aaron Kesel

The U.S. Army secretly tested carcinogenic chemicals on unknowing residents of Canada in Winnipeg and Alberta during the Cold War in testing linked to weaponry involving radioactive ingredients meant to attack the Soviet Union, according to classified documents revealed in a new book Behind the Fog: How the U.S. Cold War Radiological Weapons Program Exposed Innocent Americans by Lisa Martino-Taylor, an associate professor of sociology at St. Louis Community College.

The incidents occurred between July 9, 1953 and Aug 1, 1953 when they sprayed six kilograms of zinc cadmium sulfide onto unsuspecting citizens of Winnipeg from U.S. Army planes. The Army then returned 11 years later in 1964 and repeated the experiments in other parts of Canada including Suffield, Alta. and Medicine Hat, Alta., according to Martino-Taylor, National Post reported...

Ex-spy scurries to cast doubt on CSIS-ISIS link

Ray Boisvert, a former assistant director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), has been busy trying to deflect blame from his former employer in the developing scandal involving an alleged CSIS asset who helped three British schoolgirls and others join ISIS.

Boisvert’s impetus is to shield CSIS and the Canadian state when their hand is exposed in duplicitous activity at home and abroad. He has frequently appeared as a pundit on mainstream media programs, and unsurprisingly was trotted out by the usual suspects to comment on revelations that a Syrian national who spied for CSIS was acting as a liaison for ISIS, helping Westerners travel through Turkey to join the militant group in Syria.

Then they moved on to alienating and ruining the careers of anyone who disagreed or even tried to discuss it rationally. They treated you as a pariah if you even questioned the “fact” that humans caused climate change. Heresy!

How to Bring Down the Elephant in the Room

First, a painful, but needed, clarification:

Basement crazies. Neocons. Zionists. Israel Lobbyists. Judaics. Jews. Somewhere along this list we bump into the proverbial “elephant in the room”. For some this bumping will happen earlier in the list, for others a little later down the list, but the list will be more or less the same for everybody. Proper etiquette, atleast in the West, would want to make us run away from this topic. I won’t. Why? Well, for one thing I am constantly accused of not discussing this elephant. Furthermore, I am afraid that the role this elephant is playing is particularly toxic right now. So let me try to deal with this beast, but first I have to begin with some caveats.

She’s a lightweight, and a warmongering globalist.

As Governor of South Carolina, and a member of that state’s House of Representatives, Haley’s foreign policy experience is absolutely nil. Nor does her degree in accounting from Clemson University inspire confidence. Her record thus far has consisted of giving voice to the neoconservative tendency in the GOP – the very people Trump defeated in the GOP primaries. The conventional Republican foreign policy clichés we’ve heard for years pour forth from her mouth like vomit from a drunk. Her recent speech before the American Enterprise Institute on the nuclear deal with Iran is a perfect case in point.

We don’t need a war with Iran because Israel wants one and some rich and powerful American Jews are happy to deliver. Seriously, we don’t need it.

And while they are doing it, the issue that nearly all the Iran haters are Jewish has somehow fallen out of sight, as if it does not matter. But it should matter.

No matter how bad things look now, Hillary President would have been infinitely worse!

In conclusion, what I take away from Trump's UN speech is a sense of relief for the rest of the planet and a sense of real worry for the US. Ever since the Neocons overthrew Trump and made him what is colloquially referred to as their “bitch” the US foreign policy has come to a virtual standstill.

Sure, the Americans talk a lot, but at least they are doing nothing. That paralysis, which is a direct consequence of the internal infighting, is a blessing for the rest of the planet

How the UN Covers for US Aggression

UN is not out to get the U.S. Rather, it has largely been America’s tool since its inception, it has repeatedly covered Uncle Sam’s overly-exposed butt as he (a.k.a. “the royal we”) has gone around the world on a three decade-long military bender since the end of the Cold War.

And therein lies the truly pernicious part of the Trumped-up case against the U.N. … because, like so much of America’s growing cult of grievance, it reflects an ever-widening gap between America’s stated ideals and its self-serving behavior around the world.

General Confirms "US Policy Is Not To Defend Canada" In The Event Of A Missile Attack

His response jolted the committee members from their late-summer stupor.

THE ARAMCO IPO: A GEOPOLITICAL GAME OF THRONES

Saudi Arabia has, in recent years, shown a willingness to form more in-depth relationships with its main Asian customers, China, India and Japan. The Chinese energy demand, which is still the main driver of the global oil and gas market growth, is considered to be vital for Saudi Arabia’s future. The Kingdom is currently in a heavy battle with Russia and arguably Iran for the title of China’s biggest oil supplier, a title that Russia took from Saudi Arabia at the start of this year. Several analysts have been very worried about this development as it could weaken the IPO of Saudi Aramco. However, Aramco’s prominent position in the Chinese market, and the ongoing investments that the Saudi oil giant is making in downstream production and capabilities in China, will contain any negative repercussions from loss of market share. In the long-run, Aramco’s position in China will only strengthen, which will allow the Kingdom to lock in a hefty portion of its export volumes.

Seattle Mayor calls Lenin monuments symbols of hate and racism

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray believes that the two monuments to Vladimir Lenin should be demolished. According to Murray, the monument to Lenin in Fremont and the monument to Confederate soldiers at Capitol Hill glorify "historic injustices" and are symbols of hate, racism and violence. "Not only do these kinds of symbols represent historic injustices, their existence causes pain among those who themselves or whose family members have been impacted by these atrocities," Murray said in the statement. "We should remove all these symbols, no matter what political affiliation may have been assigned to them in the decades since they were erected. This includes both Confederate memorials and statues idolizing the founder of the authoritarian Soviet regime," he added. Noteworthy, both monuments are installed in private areas. Meanwhile, Ukraine has liquidated all monuments to Vladimir Lenin.

NDP moves to end secret Klein-era scheme to offload corporate losses on the public

Canadian Man Takes Gun from Home Invaders – Charged with Attempted Murder and Nine Other Crimes

Canada Claims Authority to Censor Your Internet Searches

The Canadian Supreme Court today ruled the country has the authority to demand Google censor and remove links to certain web pages or online content.

The idea that governments can force Google to deindex links to pages is unfortunately not new (see the European Union's "right to be forgotten"). What matters internationally in this case is the government is forcing Google to remove links from searches regardless of where the Internet user is. That is to say: Canada is demanding the authority to censor the internet outside of its physical borders and control what people who are not Canadian citizens can find online.

WW2 revisionism jeopardizing Zionist hegemony

The Canadian Jewish News website recently reported that a “holocaust” remembrance group headed by the rabid Zionist Mario Silva, a former Liberal MP from Toronto, is stepping up efforts to suppress discussion and debate about what really happened in Germany’s concentration camps during the Second World War.

The prejudicial group, which calls itself the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), essentially defines “holocaust denial” as anything that is not in complete conformity with Zionist mythology and dogma surrounding WWII.

Prominent Canadian rabbi says he has been ‘blacklisted’ by Israel

It’s a question, in the end, about identity, about who does and does not belong and, crucially, who gets to decide.

Adam Scheier, one of Canada’s most prominent rabbis, discovered recently that he had been, in his own words, “blacklisted.”

Scheier, the head of the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation in Montreal, was one of 160 rabbis from around the world whose names appeared on what is something like a banned list produced by Israel’s Chief Rabbinate.
